22. Sand beneath the card is a 10-cm-thick sill. Note the well-developed, laminated bedding in the sill. Such bedding within a sill of seismic liquefaction origin is very common (in fact, normal). Sills exhibiting graded bedding (fining upward) and no bedding are also relatively common.
