Notes:
Gravel deposit model studies are being conducted in the Front Range Urban Corridor of Colorado:
1-Gravel deposit modeling is a component of the U. S. Geological Survey Front Range Infrastructure Resources Project
2-The project demonstration area is located in the Front Range Urban Corridor of Colorado, from Denver to Ft. Collins and Greeley. Within the demonstration area, deposit model studies (areas shown in brown) have focused on gravel deposits beneath the floodplain and low terraces of the South Platte River north of Denver and on the Cache la Poudre River between Ft. Collins and Greeley.
