Installation and use of the code Conflow Conflow is an interactive, visually-oriented computer program that calculates thermodynamic and transport properties of melts and melt-gas mixtures, and calculates flow properties of magma and gas as a function of depth in eruptive conduits. The program runs on Windows-based PCs running Windows 95 or later. This site contains the program in a self-extracting zip file named conflowzip.exe, and a 59-page pdf file documenting the model. To use the model, do the following: 1) Copy the file conflowzip1.0.5b.zip to the hard drive of your Windows-based PC. 2) Unzip and expand this file to a new folder. The zip file will expand to three files (Conflow1.0.5.CAB, setup.exe, and SETUP.LST). 3) Double-click on the icon "setup.exe". This will install the program on your computer. 4) To start the program, go to the Start button, then to Programs. You will see "Conflow 1.0.5" in the program list.
