SOFTWARE AND  HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

SYSTEM SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
	Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or other graphics software that can read Illustrator files (figures are provided as Adobe Acrobat Reader pdf files)
	Microsoft Word 97 or equivalent word-processing software (but text also provided as an ASCII file)
Adobe Acrobat Reader (provided on this disc--to install click on file ar405eng)

SYSTEM HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
	This CD-ROM was produced in accordance with the ISO 9660 standard and thus allows access to the disc files by computers with ISO 9660 software drivers. 

	Adobe Illustrator requirements:
	80386 or better CPU
	Math coprocessor recommended
	4 Mb of RAM, 8 Mb strongly recommended
	15 Mb of disk space
	Super VGA graphics system, 256 colors, 640x480 pixels minimum, 
	1024x768 pixels strongly recommended

	Power Macintosh or 68040 processor with FPU
	System 7.1 or higher
	16-18 Mb of RAM 


CONTENTS OF CD-ROMs
	The text is provided in Microsoft Word 97 and in ASCII txt format; the figures are in Adobe Illustrator 8.0 format and in Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 pdf format.
