The DATA directory contains ArcInfo data coverages, grids,
and images with metadata files (.TXT).  The files in
ArcInfo format are accessible to ArcInfo, ArcView or
ArcExplorer directly from the CD-ROM.  The TIFF files are
viewable in any image software that supports TIFF.  The
subdirectories are:

backscat   backscatter images in TIFF format
basemaps   base map layers
battopo    elevation data
geology    geologic map data
info       ArcInfo database file
navigatn   navigation and other location data
samples    sample locations and analyses
shaderel   shaded relief images in TIFF format
