List of Databases Provided

The following list provides the file name and a brief description of the databases provided. All data can be obtained from the Data directory.  

AKcoast.gdb - this database contains the coast line and some lakes in Alaska.  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

AKGenCst.gdb - this database contains a generalized version of AKcoast.gdb.  Most of the lakes and coastal details have been deleted or smoothed. 

AKfltlin.gdb - this database contains flight-line data for the aerial surveys.  Please refer to the discussion of data processing for more information about the channels that are included in the database. 

AKmajriv.gdb - this database contains major rivers in Alaska.  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

AKquads.gdb - this database contains the 1:250K quadrangle boundaries in Alaska.  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

AKrailrd.gdb - this database contains railroads in Alaska.  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

AKroads.gdb - this database contains roads in Alaska.  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

NatCorp.gdb - this database contains boundaries of the native regional corporations created by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience. 

NCorpPly.gdb - this database contains polygon boundaries of the native regional corporations created by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).  The data were obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.  A link to the metadata is provided for your convenience.
