List of Maps Provided
The following list provides the file name and a brief description of the maps
provided. All data can be obtained from the Data directory.
All of the maps include various layers of information that can
viewed or hidden as desired. Please refer to the viewer tutorial for more
information. The links in the table below point to images of the
maps. If you click on a link, a window will open showing the image and you
can position and size it as you wish. Any subsequent map links that you
click on will open in that window.
AKCCM.map | This is a composite-color map that combines the uranium, potassium, and thorium data as shades of red, green, and blue, respectively. |
AKdem1km.map | This map shows the digital elevation data calculated using a 1 km grid cell and 300 m data obtained from the Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse. |
AKfeatur.map | This map shows physical features and boundaries such as roads, coastal boundary, major rivers, and native corporations. |
AKMagMap.map | This map shows the magnetic data for Alaska as prepared by Saltus and others (1999). |
AKpotasm.map | This map shows the potassium data for Alaska. |
AKTC.map | This map shows the total count data for Alaska. |
AKthorum.map | This map shows the thorium data for Alaska. |
AKuranum.map | This map shows the uranium data for Alaska. |
eU4cornr.map | This map shows the uranium data for the detailed survey denoted as the Four Corners Survey. |
K4cornr.map | This map shows the potassium data for the detailed survey denoted as the Four Corners Survey. |
Th4cornr.map | This map shows the thorium data for the detailed survey denoted as the Four Corners Survey. |
SurvIndx.map | Index map that shows the surveys by contractor and year flown. |
