The data sets included in this compilation are those of the main shocks for the 17 August 1999 Izmit and 12 November 1999 Duzce events as was provided on the reference web-site. It is known that, in addition to the main-shock data, KOERI has collected aftershock recordings following both earthquakes of 1999. While this CD-ROM was being completed, the complete data set has been released by KOERI separately during April 2001 (M. Erdik, pers. comm. 2001).
