RAW NAVIGATION DATA

The Raw Navigation was generated using the Delph Seismic software. Each data file is stored as ASCII text files using a .txt extension. Each file represents a separate trackline, with seven fields separated by spaces. Navigation fixes are at one second intervals. The links below allow you to access the files by trackline number.

WARNING: These data have not been checked for errors. Use with caution.

• Field 1: shotpoint
• Field 2: Longitude (decimal degrees)
• Field 3: Latitude (decimal degrees)
• Field 4: Heading (in degrees, computed from the navigation, i.e. course made good)
• Field 5: Speed (in knots, computed from the navigation)
• Field 6: Date (month, day, year)
• Field 7: GMT Time (hour:minute:second)

The Raw Navigation files can also be located by going to the subfolder RAWNAV located inside the NAV folder at the top level of the CD-ROM.
