SHOTPOINT NAVIGATION DATA

The shotpoint navigation provided here is the edited navigation file as well as the 500 shotpoint interval file. These files were used to generate the trackline map provided on this disc. The files are stored in ASCII format (with .txt extensions) using six fields separated by commas. Links to the 500 shotpoint interval navigation as well as the edited navigation are provided below or you can locate the ASCII files, shot.txt and 500shot.txt, in the SHOTNAV subfolder inside the NAV folder at the top level of this CD-ROM.

WARNING: This data has been edited in order to produce appropriate visual aids such as the trackline map. You will find the raw unedited navigation on the Raw Navigation Data page.

Field 1: Shot Number

Field 2: Date (month/day/year)

Field 3: GMT Time (hour:min:sec)

Field 4: Longitude (decimal degrees)

Field 5: Latitude (decimal degrees)

Field 6: Trackline Number
