This report has been given a volume title name of "Geology of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park and Potomac River Corridor, District of Columbia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia." Previously, the two chapters existed separately with no overall volume title. The chapters have been renamed as follows:
