The illustration shows a geologic cross section with the layers from top to bottom respectively; Esperance Sand (Qva), Lawton Clay (Qc), and Pre Vashon. A layer of colluvium has been defined in the model and lays on top of a slope that is made up of the Esperance Sand and the Lawton Clay. The slope is about 30 degrees. The base of the slope is made up of Pre Vashon and is steeper, 45 plus degrees. At the base of the slope is a building, below that is Alki Avenue, and then the Puget Sound.
