    Abstract:
      This file contains major roads in Wyoming.  It is simplified
      and reprojected (unprojected) from US Census TIGER files 
      downloaded from the Wyoming Spatial Data Clearinghouse.
    Purpose:
      To illustrate major roads in Wyoming.
    Supplemental_Information:
      The highway map is simplified from a detailed map available
      on the Wyoming Spatial Data and Visualization Center website.

        This database contributed to a simplified highway map
        of Wyoming.
    Process_Step:
      Process_Description:
        The file was downloaded from BLM and imported 
        into MapInfo Professional v.6.0 using the built-in 
        ArcLink translator.  It was unprojected from Universal
        Transverse Mercator to latitude/longitude (decimal degrees).
        Smaller roads were selected and deleted.  The remaining pieces
        of each road were selected and joined together between highway
        intersections. All fields in the original database, except the
        name of the highway, were deleted.
