0 - 56 cm - Grayish brown, 10 YR 5/2, firm, sandy gravel (color maybe due to post - coring organic activity within the liner). Well - rounded gravel clasts, average size 1 cm; shell fragments and organic material from 0 - 10 cm. At time of sample collection, in situ live mussels were noted in top of liner.
