0 - 35 cm -  Light brownish gray, 2.5Y 6/2, loose, fine to coarse sand. Few shell fragments and few 1 - 3 cm clasts. Unit disturbed in splitting. Gradational lower contact.
35 - 303 cm -  Grayish brown, 2.5Y 5/2, firm, fine to coarse sand. 60 and 75 cm: horizontal, dark grayish brown laminae of organic material less than 1 cm thick. 100 - 165 cm irregular, inclined, continuous to discontinuous gray silty layers. 150 - 303 cm: few scattered gravel clasts, 0.5 - 1.0 cm in size. Sharp horizontal lower contact.
303 - 514 cm - Dark gray, 5Y 4/1, firm silt and clay, some mottling due to organic matter.
