Core ID Length (m) Latitude Longitude Setting Description
GC4B 2.92 38� 02' 57.775 122� 23' 36.108 Middle Shoal Slight over-penetration; gray-green mud and very few shells on outside of barrel;  CC sample; Top section: gray to light gray mud, shell piece in upper part, minor black material in lower part; Bottom section: shell pieces in upper part; small sediment gap in middle part, homogenous gray mud.

Magnetic Susceptibility and X-ray Descriptions

Combined graph showing higher magnetic values (about 45) in the upper 130 cm, followed by lower values (about 25) for the following 90 cm, and then peaking at 45 again at the bottom of the core.
