The Grainsize, Cumulative Grainsize, Insoluble Residue, Composition, and Abrasion data on this CDROM are presented in Microsoft EXCEL 97/98 & 5.0/95 Workbook (.xls) format, comma separated value (.csv) format and HTML(.htm) format. Files are separated by location; Kailua, leeward (west) coast, north coast, and south coast (Waikiki). The beach data has been separated from the offshore data. The next five columns show the percent gravel, sand, silt, clay and mud. Then six columns represent gravel/sand, sand/silt, silt/clay, sand/mud and gravel/mud ratios. the last four columns display the data First Moment, Variance, Standard Deviation and Fourth Moment. The first column represents the name of the sample. Cumulative grain sizes are displayed in columns representing half phi sizes from -1.0 phi to 8.5 phi and whole phi sizes from 9.0 to 12 phi. The first column represents the name of the sample.
