      This dataset contains Municipal boundaries of all incorporated
      cities in the State of Colorado.
      These data are from the Colorado Department of Transportation 
      (CDOT).  This digital map is not to be considered as a legal 
      representation of these municipalities.
    Purpose:
      To illustrate location of municipalities in Colorado.

      This dataset was reprojected from data released by 
      the Colorado Department of Transportation.

      municipal boundary coverages from various city plat maps.  
      It is not known at what scale or format each boundary originated.
      It is assumed that the map may not be accurate at scales larger
      than 1:100,000, although it is possible that it is accurate at 
      considerably larger scales, perhaps locally larger than 1:24,000.
      The map is not to be considered as legal representation of the 
      boundary.
  Completeness_Report:
    The data are considered complete for the purpose of displaying 
    municipal boundaries for all incorporated cities in Colorado.
  Logical_Consistency_Report:
    The original data were supplied by the Colorado Department of 
    Transportation as zipped ArcView shape files.  The files were 
    unzipped and the shape file imported into MapInfo Pro 6.5 using 
    the Arc/Info export (.e00) format.  This file was imported into 
    MapInfo Professional v. 6.5 and unprojected from Universal 
    Transverse Mercator, Zone 13, NAD 83, to latitude/longitude 
    decimal degree coordinates.
