Sample of cement debris from the World Trade Center Tower 1. Cement sample is covered in gypsum from WTC debris. It should also be noted that cement does contain small amounts of gypsum as well.

Quartz (major), albite (major), portlandite (minor), magnesiohornblende (minor), orthoclase (trace), muscovite (trace).

The spectrum is dominated by gypsum absorption features at 1.45, 1.75, 1.94, 2.21, and 2.27 microns. Spectrum labeled WTC01-37Ac is of the sample exterior.
