Speedy Point discharge computations failed to yield a realiable rating; therefore, there are no 15 minute discharge results to report for this station. This station is located at a bottleneck in the estuary beside the confluence of the North and South forks of the St. Lucie River, and measures water passing between (and deflected bY) large footings of the new Roosevelt Bridge. Consequently, it appears the hydrologic setting creates turbulent flow that is too inconsistent to provide for a constant velocity index through all ranges of both stage and velocity.
