With the exception of the site at mile 13, there is no 7Be in sediment on the river bottom, only on the adjacent tidal flats. The highest 7Be concentration occurs in the sediments of the river mouth delta. This concentration mirrors that of suspended sediment sampled in August, 2001. B. 137Cs distribution along the Pocomoke River. There is a significant amount of 137Cs stored in this system.
