stop tracing any ray which reflects off a boundary not specified in the arrays ray or rbnd; if istop=2, rays are also stopped if they enter a layer deeper than that specified by the ray code in the array ray, i.e., the layer number is greater than L and the ray code is L.n, where n=0, 1, 2, or 3 (default: 1)
