We owe a considerable debt of gratitude to Nancy C. Sandoval who was secretary and administrator of the Geothermal Studies Project while this data set was being acquired. Besides being a first-rate scientific manuscript typist, Nancy kept track of our comings and goings, tracked cash flow that often amounted to several thousand dollars per day, arranged meetings and conferences, and resolved many scheduling conflicts.

Walter E. Wendt provided excellent support for our electronics, both in the laboratory and in the field. Richard Keating was a skilled and dedicated engineering technician, and helped keep our field equipment in good working order. John Ziagos, during his 2-year stint with the project, provided invaluable support in the field and helped write some very reliable and productive code for programmable calculators and early versions of micro-computers.
