The figure shown below is a copy of the gamma-ray classification map of Duval (2005). The red and dark blue colors are mostly associated with the Goliad Formation (refer to the geologic map. Yellow and light blue colors are considered representative of the Lissie Formation. Green colors appear to be mostly related to the Beaumont Formation and the brown colors reflect the Holocene alluvium. Black occurs where water is present in ponds or small lakes.
