U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 2006-1170 COLOR SHADED-RELIEF IMAGES - 1:100,000 scale Color shaded-relief images of the final magnetic data are available in two formats for each survey area. TIF images are georegistered and show latitude/longitude tick marks only; they have no extra annotation so that they can be co-registered with other overlays. PDF images have scales and text for map plot purposes. Color shaded-relief image displays of the magnetic data were created in ERMAPPER*, using a sun elevation of 60E and a sun azimuth of 90E(east) for the Questa-San Luis survey and 270E(west) for the Santa Fe East survey. Other displays were created in Oasis Montaj*. Color scales are shown on the PDF images, and differ from image to image. The types of image files and their uses are described briefly below. A color-shaded relief image of topography overlain by flight-line locations, using a sun azimuth of 45E(northeast) and sun elevation of 45E, is included. Scale of all images is 1:100,000.
