Postional Accuracy is based on position of shoreline with respect to the transect.
This shoreline-transect intersect data adequately represented the intersect at the time of the analysis. Remaining gaps in this data, if applicable, are a consequence of non-existing data, transects crossing man-made features or existing data that did not meet quality assurance standards.
Shoreline-Transect Intersections represent the absolute position of the intersects and do not take into account bias shift values in the positions and distances of the shoreline and for rate calculation.
