Abstract:

Represents the extent of usable Lidar data to a specific 2x2 kilometer tile.

Purpose:

This shapefile was generated as an intermediate step to create a series of U. S. Geological Survey Lidar maps. The polygons represent specific regions of a 2x2 kilometer tile that have usable Lidar data. All areas not covered by polygons correspond to areas of No Data on the Lidar tile. This shapefile is particularly useful as an analysis mask within ARC Spatial Analyst.
