of2008-1003_readme.txt ====================== Daniel Scheirer, USGS, dscheirer@usgs.gov Digital Gravity Data: --------------------- The gravity data file: of2008-1003_gravity_data.csv contains principal facts of 750 gravity stations within the Arbuckle-Simpson geophysics study area (Figure 1) of USGS Open-File Report 2008-1003. The data are provided in comma-separated-value (CSV) ASCII text format, which can be read and imported with numerous programs such as spreadsheet programs. The data columns are labeled in the first line of the CSV file, and anomalies were calculated as described in the text of this report (of2008-1003.pdf). Gravity stations collected in various campaigns have different station name prefixes, which are listed in comment lines (starting with "#") in the CSV file. Digital Ground Magnetic Data: ----------------------------- The magnetic data file: of2008-1003_magnetic_data.csv contains principal facts of the 15 ground magnetic traverses within the Arbuckle-Simpson geophysics study area (Figure 1) of USGS Open-File Report 2008-1003. The data are provided in comma-separated-value (CSV) ASCII text format, which can be read and imported with numerous programs such as spreadsheet programs. The data columns are labeled in the lines of the CSV file that start with the "#" character; these lines also delimit different survey traverses. Magnetic anomaly values of -999999 occur when no valid magnetic anomalies were calculated.
