Abstract:
This dataset represents the geographic locations of Oriskany oil and gas fields in the Appalachian basin of the Eastern United States.
Purpose:
This dataset can be used to display the geographic location of Oriskany oil and gas fields in the Appalachian basin of the Eastern United States in a GIS mapping program. It is available in shapefile and Zipped Keyhole Markup Language (KMZ) formats, and can be viewed using ArcGIS, Google Earth, or any software package that supports these data formats.
