  <dc:description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;An isotopically homogeneous calcite, Harding Iceland Spar (HIS), having 6180 = +11.78 ± 0.07‰ (= +22.15‰ for CO&lt;/span&gt;&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;&lt;span&gt;) and&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;δ&lt;/i&gt;&lt;sup&gt;13&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;span&gt;C = −4.80 ± 0.02‰, has been prepared in quantities suitable for use as a working standard in mass spectrometric analysis. The isotopic values are well-suited for analysis of minerals of hydrothermal origin.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</dc:description>
