The gold content of parts of the core seems to be related to the mafic index. The variation of gold content with depth and mafic index is similar to that of copper, indicating that gold and copper may have been concomitantly crystallized from the magma.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</dc:description>
