  <dc:description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Injections of cortisol, actinomycin D, or combined administration of the hormone and the antiobiotic did not effect rainbow trout (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;Salmo gairdneri&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span&gt;) branchial Na&lt;/span&gt;&lt;sup&gt;+&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;span&gt;K&lt;/span&gt;&lt;sup&gt;+&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;span&gt;-ATPase activity. Numbers of chloride cells also did not change following cortisol and actinomycin D treatment.
