  <dc:description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;In 2017, we investigated a mortality event of muskrat (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;Ondatra zibethicus&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span&gt;) in Northwest Ohio, USA, and determined the causes of death to be from Tyzzer's disease due to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;Clostridium piliforme&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;Klebsiella pneumoniae&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;septicemia. The gross presentation resembled tularemia, which highlighted the importance of a complete diagnostic investigation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</dc:description>
