  <dc:description>&lt;p&gt;The Van Horn quadrangle is situated in EL Paso and Culberson counties, Tex., about 100 miles southeast of El Paso. &amp;nbsp;It is bounded by parallels 31&amp;deg; and 31&amp;deg; 30' and meridians 104&amp;deg; 30' and 105&amp;deg; and incluedes 1019 square miles. &amp;nbsp;This area lies within the Cordilleran region, about midway between Peco River and teh Rio Grande, and forms a part of what is known as trans-Pecos Texas. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</dc:description>
