  <dc:description>Water resources data for the 1997 water year for Minnesota consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality of ground water. This volume contains discharge records for 101 stream-gaging stations; stage and contents for 13 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 28 stream-gaging stations; peak flow data for 85 high-flow partial-record stations; and water levels for 16 observation wells. These data represent a part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Minnesota.</dc:description>
