  <dc:description>Water-resources data for the 2002 Water Year for New Jersey are presented in three volumes, and consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage and contents of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality of ground water. Volume 1 contains discharge records for 93 gaging stations; tide summaries at 31 gaging stations; and stage and contents at 39 lakes and reservoirs. Also included are stage and discharge for 104 crest-stage partial-record stations and stage-only at 31 tidal crest-stage gages. Locations of these sites are shown in figures 8-11. Additional water data were collected at various sites that are not part of the systematic data-collection program. Discharge measurements were made at 201 low-flow partial-record stations and 121 miscellaneous sites.</dc:description>
