Its majestic edifice looms over expanding suburbs in the valleys that lead to nearby Puget Sound. USGS research over the last several decades indicates that Mount Rainier has been the source of many volcanic mudflows (lahars) that buried areas now densely populated. A primary objective of the Columbia NASQAN Program is to provide an ongoing characterization of the concentrations and mass flux (amount of material or load passing a location per unit time, generally expressed as tons per day) of sediment and chemicals at key locations in the basin. These data can then be used to determine regional source areas for these materials, and to assess the effect of human influences on observed concentrations and constituent loads. NASQAN complements the ongoing USGS National Water Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Program, which is performing a detailed assessment in three subbasins of the Columbia River Basin. NASQAN monitors the larger rivers in the basin, downstream of NAWQA study units.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs00498","usgsCitation":"Kelly, V.J., and Hooper, R.P., 1998, Monitoring the Water Quality of the Nation's Large Rivers: Columbia River Basin NASQAN Program: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 004-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs00498.","productDescription":"4 p.","costCenters":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":117146,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0004/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":13267,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://water.usgs.gov/nasqan/docs/clmbfact/clmbfactsheet.html","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":31887,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0004/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a16e4b07f02db603d3e","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Kelly, Valerie J. vjkelly@usgs.gov","contributorId":4161,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Kelly","given":"Valerie","email":"vjkelly@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"J.","affiliations":[{"id":518,"text":"Oregon Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":150404,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Hooper, Richard P.","contributorId":19144,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Hooper","given":"Richard","email":"","middleInitial":"P.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":150405,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has estimated that 40 percent of the more than 200,000 retail service stations in the United States have had accidental releases of petroleum hydrocarbons to the subsurface (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1991). Restoration of a contaminated aquifer to regulatory standards is a technically difficult problem even when best engineering strategies are applied.</p><p>Natural attenuation, a remediation strategy that relies on intrinsic physical, chemical, and biological processes to decrease contaminant concentrations, is gaining widespread acceptance in aquifer restoration efforts (Tremblay and others, 1995). The potential for successful remediation by natural attenuation depends on the fate of the organic constituents of the spilled product, which may include additives such as methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE). These compounds can dissolve in ground water, adsorb to subsurface sediments, volatilize and diffuse through the unsaturated zone, or undergo chemical and biological reactions (fig. 1). Volatilization and biodegradation near the water table are two processes that can contribute significantly to the natural attenuation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in shallow ground water (McAllister and Chiang, 1994). To date, quantitative information on the rates at which these processes occur has been limited.</p><p>R-UNSAT, a computer model designed for quantifying rates of volatilization and biodegradation of organic compounds near the water table, was developed and documented by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and is now available to the public. R-UNSAT also can be applied, however, to other unsaturated-zone transport problems that involve gas diffusion, such as radon migration, and the deposition of compounds from the atmosphere to shallow ground water. This fact sheet describes the transport model and demonstrates its capabilities through applications to point- and nonpoint-source contamination.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Reston, VA","doi":"10.3133/fs01998","usgsCitation":"Lahvis, M.A., and Baehr, A.L., 1998, Simulating transport of volatile organic compounds in the unsaturated zone using the computer model R-UNSAT: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 019-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs01998.","productDescription":"4 p.","costCenters":[{"id":589,"text":"Toxic Substances Hydrology Program","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":431464,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/FS-019-98/fs-019-98.pdf","text":"Report","size":"81.2 KB","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"description":"FS 019-98 PDF"},{"id":120,"rank":3,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/FS-019-98","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"},"description":"FS 019-98 HTML"},{"id":121399,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/FS-019-98/coverthb.jpg"}],"contact":"<p><a href=\"https://pubs.usgs.gov/contact\" data-mce-href=\"../contact\">Contact Pubs Warehouse</a></p>","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e49f8e4b07f02db5f309e","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Lahvis, Matthew A.","contributorId":104522,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Lahvis","given":"Matthew","email":"","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":150191,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Baehr, Arthur L.","contributorId":104523,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Baehr","given":"Arthur","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":150192,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

Because of the demand for this resource, various studies have been conducted to better understand the Edwards aquifer and how the aquifer reacts to environmental changes and human influences. In July 1996, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center (EARDC) at Southwest Texas State University (SWTSU) and the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), began a study to investigate possible changes in water quality of the Edwards aquifer near the freshwater/saline-water interface that might result if drought occurs. The continuing study is part of the USGS National WaterQuality Assessment (NAWQA) Program in south-central Texas. The freshwater/saline-water interface, known locally as the &ldquo;bad-water line,&rdquo; marks the beginning of the transition in the aquifer from freshwater (updip) to saline water (downdip). The interface is defined as the 1,000-milligram-per-liter (mg/L) line of equal dissolved solids concentration as delineated by Maclay and others (1980, fig. 7). Water in the freshwater zone of the Edwards aquifer tends to have dissolved solids concentrations of 250 to 300 mg/L (Pavlicek and others, 1987, p. 3). In contrast, water in the saline-water zone of the Edwards aquifer commonly has dissolved solids concentrations greater than 10,000 mg/L, and sample concentrations as large as 232,000 mg/L have been measured (Groschen and Buszka, 1997, p. 21).</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs10398","usgsCitation":"Cederberg, J., Ging, P.B., and Ourso, R.T., 1998, Monitoring of Selected Water-Quality Constituents Near the Freshwater/Saline-Water Interface of the Edwards Aquifer, July 1996-December 1997: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 103-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs10398.","productDescription":"4 p.","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":327081,"rank":101,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/Fs10398/10398.pdf"},{"id":603,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/FS/Fs10398/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":117080,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/fs_103_98.bmp"}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b04e4b07f02db6990e3","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Cederberg, J.R.","contributorId":16239,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Cederberg","given":"J.R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":150535,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Ging, Patricia B. 0000-0001-5491-8448 pbging@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5491-8448","contributorId":1788,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Ging","given":"Patricia","email":"pbging@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"B.","affiliations":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":150533,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Ourso, Robert T. 0000-0002-5952-8681 rtourso@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5952-8681","contributorId":203207,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Ourso","given":"Robert","email":"rtourso@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"T.","affiliations":[{"id":114,"text":"Alaska Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true},{"id":120,"text":"Alaska Science Center Water","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":150534,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3}]}}

Long-term method detection levels (LT-MDLs) for MTBE, TAME, DIPE, and ETBE ranged from 15 to 83 nanograms per liter (0.015 to 0.083 microgram per liter). Nanogram-per-liter-concentration detections are reported if all of the identification criteria are met, whereas previous methods censored detections at a pre-determined method reporting level. The reporting level for this method is defined as two times the LT-MDL, does not censor detections at less than this concentration, and is referred to as the nondetection value (NDV). Bias and variability data from multiple analyses, analysts, and instruments over a 60-day period show the oxygenate recoveries ranging from 100 to 109 percent, with 6 to 8 percent relative standard deviation. MTBE, TAME, DIPE, and ETBE were not detected in the analysis of 225 laboratory reagent blanks from January to December 1997. A preservation study in ground water and surface water indicates that all the oxygenates are stable at pH 2 for up to 216 days, with recoveries ranging from 94 to 115 percent on day 216, and relative standard deviations ranging from 5 to 9 percent for the duration of the study.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs08698","usgsCitation":"Rose, D.L., Connor, B.F., Abney, S.R., and Raese, J.W., 1998, Laboratory method for analysis of small concentrations of methyl tert-butyl rther and other ether gasoline oxygenates in water: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 086-98, 6 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs08698.","productDescription":"6 p.","costCenters":[{"id":452,"text":"National Water Quality Laboratory","active":true,"usgs":true},{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":124448,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0086/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":11565,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://nwql.usgs.gov/Public/FS-086-98.shtml","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":32104,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0086/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b28e4b07f02db6b1483","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Rose, Donna L. 0000-0003-1216-9914 dlrose@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1216-9914","contributorId":4546,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Rose","given":"Donna","email":"dlrose@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[{"id":5046,"text":"Branch of Analytical Serv (NWQL)","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":151235,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Connor, Brooke F. bfconnor@usgs.gov","contributorId":3172,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Connor","given":"Brooke","email":"bfconnor@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"F.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":151234,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Abney, Sonja R.","contributorId":62992,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Abney","given":"Sonja","email":"","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":151236,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Raese, Jon W. jwraese@usgs.gov","contributorId":183,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Raese","given":"Jon","email":"jwraese@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"W.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":151233,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4}]}}

The NASQAN program was designed to characterize the concentrations and transport of sediment and selected chemical constituents found in the Nation's large rivers-including the Mississippi, Colorado, and Columbia in addition to the Rio Grande. In these four basins, the USGS currently (1998) operates a network of 40 NASQAN sites, with an emphasis on quantifying the mass flux for each constituent (the amount of material moving past the site, expressed in tons per day). By applying a consistent flux-based approach in the Rio Grande Basin, the NASQAN program is generating the information needed to identify regional sources for a variety of constituents, including agricultural chemicals and trace elements, in the basin. The effect of the large reservoirs on the Rio Grande can be observed as constituent fluxes are routed downstream. The analysis of constituent fluxes on a basin-wide scale will provide the means to assess the influence of human activity on water-quality conditions in the Rio Grande.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs08398","usgsCitation":"Lurry, D.L., Reutter, D., and Wells, F.C., 1998, Monitoring the water quality of the Nation's large rivers: Rio Grande NASQAN Program: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 083-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs08398.","productDescription":"4 p.","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":34080,"rank":299,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0083/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":117422,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0083/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"Mexico, United States","state":"Colorado, New Mexico, Texas","otherGeospatial":"Rio Grande basin","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -107.841796875,\n              37.10776507118514\n            ],\n            [\n              -108.67675781249999,\n              33.90689555128866\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.09472656249999,\n              31.541089879585808\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.31494140625,\n              29.80251790576445\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.3037109375,\n              28.613459424004414\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.05126953124999,\n              26.843677401113002\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.38134765625,\n              26.78484736105119\n            ],\n            [\n              -102.83203125,\n              28.07198030177986\n            ],\n            [\n              -102.45849609375,\n              27.819644755099446\n            ],\n            [\n              -101.14013671875,\n              26.60817437403311\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.39355468749999,\n              25.54244147012483\n            ],\n            [\n              -97.93212890625,\n              26.2145910237943\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.4814453125,\n              27.6251403350933\n            ],\n            [\n              -100.37109375,\n              29.707139348134145\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.90869140625,\n              31.690781806136822\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.71093749999999,\n              34.542762387234845\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.64501953125,\n              37.45741810262938\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.3369140625,\n              38.51378825951165\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.314453125,\n              38.44498466889473\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.841796875,\n              37.10776507118514\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b04e4b07f02db69913e","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Lurry, Dee L.","contributorId":10766,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Lurry","given":"Dee","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":153129,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Reutter, David C. dreutter@usgs.gov","contributorId":5441,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Reutter","given":"David C.","email":"dreutter@usgs.gov","affiliations":[{"id":513,"text":"Ohio Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":153128,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Wells, Frank C.","contributorId":80664,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Wells","given":"Frank","email":"","middleInitial":"C.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":153130,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3}]}}

EI programa NASOAN fue diseiiado para caracterizar las concentraciones y el transporte de sedimento y constituyentes quimicos seleccionados, encontrados en los grandes rios de los Estados Unidos - incluyendo el Misisipi, el Colorado y el Columbia, ademas del Rio Grande. En estas cuatro cuencas, el USGS opera actualmente (1998) una red de 40 puntos de muestreo pertenecientes a NASOAN, con un enfasis en cuantificar el flujo en masa (la cantidad de material que pasa por la estacion, expresado en toneladas por dial para cada constituyente. Aplicacando un enfoque consistente, basado en la cuantificacion de flujos en la cuenca del Rio Grande, el programa NASOAN esta generando la informacion necesaria para identificar fuentes regionales de diversos contaminantes, incluyendo sustancias qui micas agricolas y trazas elementos en la cuenca. EI efecto de las grandes reservas en el Rio Grande se puede observar segun los flujos de constituyentes discurren a 10 largo del rio. EI analisis de los flujos de constituyentes a escala de la cuenca proveera los medios para evaluar la influencia de la actividad humana sobre las condiciones de calidad del agua del Rio Grande.","language":"Spanish","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs08398S","usgsCitation":"Lurry, D.L., Reutter, D., Wells, F.C., Rivera, M., and Munoz, A., 1998, Vigilando la Calidad del Agua de los Grandes Rios de la Nacion: El Programa NASQAN del Rio Grande (Rio Bravo del Norte): U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 083-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs08398S.","productDescription":"4 p.","costCenters":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":121787,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0083s/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":94144,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/1998/0083s/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"Mexico, United States","state":"Colorado, New Mexico, Texas","otherGeospatial":"Rio Grande basin","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -107.841796875,\n              37.10776507118514\n            ],\n            [\n              -108.67675781249999,\n              33.90689555128866\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.09472656249999,\n              31.541089879585808\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.31494140625,\n              29.80251790576445\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.3037109375,\n              28.613459424004414\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.05126953124999,\n              26.843677401113002\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.38134765625,\n              26.78484736105119\n            ],\n            [\n              -102.83203125,\n              28.07198030177986\n            ],\n            [\n              -102.45849609375,\n              27.819644755099446\n            ],\n            [\n              -101.14013671875,\n              26.60817437403311\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.39355468749999,\n              25.54244147012483\n            ],\n            [\n              -97.93212890625,\n              26.2145910237943\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.4814453125,\n              27.6251403350933\n            ],\n            [\n              -100.37109375,\n              29.707139348134145\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.90869140625,\n              31.690781806136822\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.71093749999999,\n              34.542762387234845\n            ],\n            [\n              -103.64501953125,\n              37.45741810262938\n            ],\n            [\n              -105.3369140625,\n              38.51378825951165\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.314453125,\n              38.44498466889473\n            ],\n            [\n              -107.841796875,\n              37.10776507118514\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a10e4b07f02db5ff378","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Lurry, Dee L.","contributorId":10766,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Lurry","given":"Dee","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":193209,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Reutter, David C. dreutter@usgs.gov","contributorId":5441,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Reutter","given":"David C.","email":"dreutter@usgs.gov","affiliations":[{"id":513,"text":"Ohio Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":193208,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Wells, Frank C.","contributorId":80664,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Wells","given":"Frank","email":"","middleInitial":"C.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":193212,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Rivera, M.C. As urban area expand, local sources of these resource are becoming inaccessible (gravel cannot be mined from under a subdivision, for example), or the cost of recovery of the resource becomes prohibitive (oil and gas drilling in urban areas is costly), or the resources may become unfit for some use (pollution of ground water may preclude its use as a water supply). Governmental land-use decision and environmental mandates can further preclude development of natural resources. If infrastructure resources are to remain economically available. current resource information must be available for use in well-reasoned decisions bout future land use. Ground water is an infrastructure resource that is present in shallow aquifers and deeper bedrock aquifers that underlie much of the 2,450-square-mile demonstration area of the Colorado Front Range Infrastructure Resources Project. In 1996, mapping of the area's ground-water resources was undertaken as a U.S. Geological Survey project in cooperation with the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources, and the Colorado Water Conservation Board.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/fs11398","usgsCitation":"Robson, S.G., and Heiny, J.S., 1998, Front Range Infrastructure Resources Project: water-resources activities: U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet 113-98, 4 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/fs11398.","productDescription":"4 p.","numberOfPages":"4","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":139708,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/fs11398.jpg"},{"id":285395,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/0113-98/report.pdf"}],"country":"United States","state":"Colorado","geographicExtents":"{ \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\", \"features\": [ { \"type\": \"Feature\", \"properties\": {}, \"geometry\": { \"type\": \"Polygon\", \"coordinates\": [ [ [ -105.5027,39.2894 ], [ -105.5027,40.7259 ], [ -104.452,40.7259 ], [ -104.452,39.2894 ], [ -105.5027,39.2894 ] ] ] } } ] }","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b32e4b07f02db6b4472","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Robson, Stanley G.","contributorId":73187,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Robson","given":"Stanley","email":"","middleInitial":"G.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152936,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Heiny, Janet S.","contributorId":93468,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Heiny","given":"Janet","email":"","middleInitial":"S.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152937,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}
