Although the measurements were made on a relatively small number of trees, some significant differences were obtained and the overall results are encouraging enough to warrant additional studies. Based on present data the gross value of the deposit, with a value of $25.00 or more per ton, is $20,000,000. A belt of metasedimentary rocks, intruded by gabbro to the south and granite to the north, was the host for fissure vein-replacement type mineralization. Most of the mineralization is in a siliceous dolomite transected by fissures.
