Results neither supported nor refuted the hypothesis that either stimulus is used as a mechanism for school formation. The exercise did lead to doubts about the experimental design. Some ambiguity resulted from the fact that the significance of the results depended upon the way in which the data were analyzed. Several alternative methods were considered. We also observed tadpoles reared in isolation to determine the effect of prior social conditioning on aggregative behavior. Isolates grew less than group-reared animals, were less active, and exhibited a strong avoidance reaction when subsequently exposed to conspecifics.","largerWorkType":{"id":2,"text":"Article"},"largerWorkTitle":"Herpetologica","largerWorkSubtype":{"id":10,"text":"Journal Article"},"language":"English","usgsCitation":"Foster, M., and McDiarmid, R., 1982, Study of aggregative behavior of Rhinophrynus dorsalis tadpoles: design and analysis: Herpetologica, v. 38, no. 3, p. 395-404.","productDescription":"395-404","startPage":"395","endPage":"404","numberOfPages":"10","costCenters":[{"id":531,"text":"Patuxent Wildlife Research Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":200362,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/outside_thumb.jpg"},{"id":18288,"rank":200,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://www.jstor.org/stable/3892423","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"volume":"38","issue":"3","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b05e4b07f02db699d91","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Foster, M.S. 0000-0001-8272-4608","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8272-4608","contributorId":10116,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Foster","given":"M.S.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":339040,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"McDiarmid, R.W.","contributorId":15130,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"McDiarmid","given":"R.W.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":339041,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

When nestlings were 10 days old (day 10), adult males were captured and killed and brood size was adjusted to four. The frequency and temporal distribution of sorties made by each pair of females to feed their young were recorded for 2 h at 18.00 hours on day 11 and 06.00 hours on day 12. One female from each pair was given a single oral dose of dicrotophos (2.5 mg/kg of body weight) dissolved in corn oil; the second female received an equivalent exposure of pure corn oil. Birds were released and their nestlings weighed. Parental care was again monitored between 18.00 and 20.00 hours on day 12 and 06.00 and 08.00 hours on day 13. Females were then captured and they with their young were weighed and killed. This study was designed to (1) determine the proportion of the annual total of dove nesting activity and production that occurs in September and October, and (2) determine if survival rates of mourning dove eggs and nestlings are lower in areas where early September dove hunting is permitted compared to areas where it is prohibited. During 1979 and 1980, 6,950 active nests were followed to obtain data on nesting patterns. Nest initiation was estimated both by backdating from hatch dates and by the numbers of nests found for the first time. The nationwide percent of the annual total of nests that were initiated in September and October was 1.0% based on backdating hatch dates and 2.7% based on nests found for the first time. Nesting activity was measured by numbers of eggs and nestlings present in weekly counts. Nationally, 4.5% of the annual total of nesting activity occurred in September and October. The observed period when 80% of the nests were active, based on hatch dates, lasted from April 22 to September 4. The measure of production used in this study was numbers of young fledged. Nationally, 10.3% of all observed fledging occurred in September and October. A decline in nests found in the latter half of the nesting season preceded the September 1 start of hunting. From this we concluded that the reduction in nesting activity at the end of the season is a natural phenomenon and not caused by hunting disturbance. In a separate part of this study, we estimated survival rates in hunted and nonhunted sections from data on 668 nests. The estimated daily survival rates for individual eggs and nestlings were 95.8% in the nonhunted and 95.0% in the hunted sections; the corresponding fledging rates were 33% and 26%, respectively. The fledging rates are lower because they are the daily survival rates operating over a 26-day nesting period. Neither differences in survival nor fledging rates between nonhunted and hunted sections were found to be statistically significant (p> 0.05). We determined that the statistical test was powerful enough to detect a reduction due to hunting from a hypothetical 96.0% to 94.2% in daily nestling survival rates (from 35% to 21% fledging rates) with 80% probability. An undetected reduction in fledging rate of that magnitude would probably reduce the overall fledging rate by less than 1 percentage point, because only a small proportion of the nesting doves is exposed to hunting for the full 26 day nesting cycle. In conclusion, we found that only a small proportion of total annual nesting attempts was exposed to hunting. There was no statistically significant difference in survival rates in sections where hunting was permitted compared to sections where it was prohibited. We concluded from this study that dove hunting under current regulations has no substantial effect on recruitment of fledglings into the mourning dove population.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Section of Migratory Game Birds","publisherLocation":"Laurel, Maryland","collaboration":"reissued as U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Resource Publication 168, 1987","usgsCitation":"Geissler, P., Dolton, D., Coon, R., Percival, H., Field, R., Hayne, D.W., Soileau, L., George, R., Dunks, J., and Bunnell, S., 1982, Mourning Dove Nesting: Seasonal Patterns and Effects of September Hunting.","costCenters":[{"id":531,"text":"Patuxent Wildlife Research Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":201171,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/outside_thumb.jpg"}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e48d0e4b07f02db54669e","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Geissler, P.H.","contributorId":24038,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Geissler","given":"P.H.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":326980,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Dolton, David D.","contributorId":45803,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Dolton","given":"David D.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":326986,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Coon, R.A.","contributorId":43060,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Coon","given":"R.A.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":326985,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Percival, H.F.","contributorId":31716,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Percival","given":"H.F.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":326982,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4},{"text":"Field, R.","contributorId":105813,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Field","given":"R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":326989,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":5},{"text":"Hayne, D. In the U.S. Geological Survey oilspill trajectory analysis model, the surface drift component is assumed to be 3.5% of the wind speed and is rotated 20 degrees clockwise to account for Coriolis effects in the Northern Hemisphere. Field and laboratory data suggest, however, that the deflection angle of the surface drift current can be highly variable. An empirical formula, based on field observations and theoretical arguments relating wind speed to deflection angle, was used to calculate a new deflection angle at each time step in the model. Since late 1976, changes in pumping distribution resulting from efforts to control subsidence and the introduction of surface water from Lake Livingston have altered the pattern of water-level changes. In the Johnson Space Center and Baytown-La Porte areas (Chicot aquifer), and in the Pasadena area (Evangeline aquifer), water levels rose about 20 feet (6.1 meters) during 1973-77. However, in the western Houston area (Evangeline aquifer), water levels have continued to decline at an increasing rate through 1977.
\n
The declines in water levels have caused pronounced regional subsidence of the land surface. Adequate streamflow data from instrumented gaging stations rarely are available, and estimates of surface- water discharge based on rainfall-runoff models, drainage area, and basin characteristics sometimes have proven unreliable. Channel-geometry measurements offer an alternative method of quickly and inexpensively estimating stream-flow characteristics for ungaged streams. The method uses the empirical development of equations to yield a discharge value from channel-geometry and channel-material data. The equations are developed by collecting data at numerous streamflow-gaging sites and statistically relating those data to selected discharge characteristics. Mean annual runoff and flood discharges with selected recurrence intervals can be estimated for perennial, intermittent, and ephemeral streams. The equations were developed from data collected in the western one-half of the conterminous United States. The effect of the channel-material and runoff characteristics are accounted for with the equations.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. G.P.O.,","doi":"10.3133/wsp2193","usgsCitation":"Hedman, E.R., and Osterkamp, W.R., 1982, Streamflow characteristics related to channel geometry of streams in western United States: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2193, iii, 17 p. : ill., map ; 28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2193.","productDescription":"iii, 17 p. : ill., map ; 28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":137056,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2193/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":27019,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2193/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b15e4b07f02db6a4e2f","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Hedman, E. Correlation analysis and R-mode factor analysis indicate that three major factors affect water composition in the spring systems studied: (1) duration of water circulation, (2) depth of water circulation, and (3) partial pressure of carbon dioxide. An examination of factor scores indicates that several types of hydrogeologic systems were sampled. Most of the samples are (1) older water from deeper circulating systems having relatively high salinity, high temperature, and low Eh or (2) younger water from shallower circulating systems having relatively low salinity, low temperature, and high Eh. The rest of the samples are from more complex systems. Any of the systems can have a relatively high or low content of dissolved carbonate species, resulting in a low or high pH, respectively. Uranium concentrations are commonly higher in waters of relatively low temperature and high Eh, and radium concentrations are commonly higher in waters having a relatively high carbonate content (low pH) and, secondarily, relatively high salinity. \r\n\r\nWater samples were collected and (or) measurements were taken at 156 of the 171 mineral-spring sites visited. Various samples were analyzed for radium, uranium, radon, helium, and radium-228 as well as major ions and numerous trace elements. On-site measurements for physical properties including temperature, specific conductance, pH, Eh, and dissolved oxygen were made. All constituents and properties show a wide range of values. Radium concentrations range from less than 0.01 to 300 picocuries per liter; they average 1.48 picocuries per liter and have an anomaly threshold value of 171 picocuries per liter for the samples studied. Uranium concentrations range from less than 0.01 to 120 micrograms per liter and average 0.26 micrograms per liter; they have an anomaly threshold value of 48.1 micrograms per liter. Radon content ranges from less than 10 to 110,000 picocuries per liter, averages 549 picocuries per liter and has an anomaly threshold of 20,400 picocuries per liter. Helium content ranges from -1,300 to +13,000 parts per billion relative to atmospheric helium; it averages +725 parts per billion and has an anomaly threshold of 10,000 parts per billion. Radium-228 concentrations range from less than 2.0 to 33 picocuries per liter; no anomaly threshold was determined owing to the small number of samples. All of the anomaly thresholds may be somewhat high because the sampling was biased toward springs likely to be radioactive. \r\n\r\nThe statistical variance in radium and uranium concentrations unaccounted for by the identified factors testifies to the complexity of some hydrogeologic systems. Unidentified factors related to geologic setting and the presence of uranium-rich rocks in the systems also affect the observed concentrations of the radioactive elements in the water. The association of anomalous radioactivity in several springs with nearby known uranium occurrences indicates that other springs having anomalous radioactivity may also be associated with uranium occurrences as yet undiscovered.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr82324","usgsCitation":"Felmlee, J., and Cadigan, R.A., 1982, Radioactivity and geochemistry of selected mineral-spring waters in the Western United States; basic data and multivariate statistical analysis: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-324, ii, 107 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82324.","productDescription":"ii, 107 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":142733,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0324/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":36377,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0324/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a60e4b07f02db634cbd","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Felmlee, J.K.","contributorId":106114,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Felmlee","given":"J.K.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":158341,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Cadigan, R. The proposed program for 1982 includes a network of 69 surface-water data sites (continuous gaging stations), 250 flood-data sites (crest-stage stations), 679 ground-water wells (water-level observation and water-quality monitor wells), and 138 water-quality sites. The geographic distribution of the data sites is shown in the report. Interpretive studies have objectives that are oriented toward a particular geographic area , to a particular set of hydrologic phenomena, or to obtain information for use in solving specific problems. Current studies of interest to agriculture include the following: (1) Flood hydraulics and hydrology, (2) Low-flow or base-flow of streams in Louisiana, (3) Hydrologic studies in southwestern Louisiana, (4) Hydrologic impacts of surface mining in northern Louisiana, (5) Sparta aquifer study, and (6) Limnology of freshwater lakes. A network of partial record sites is also maintained to monitor specific flows. Peak stages (crest stage) are only recorded at sites where flood information is of interest. At other sites, only the low-flow or base-flow recession is obtained for use in determining relations between ground water and surface water, to assess water supply, and for effluent studies. It was funded in part by the Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey. The purpose of the study was to define and map the geology and shallow structure, to determine the geologic framework and late Tertiary to Holocene history, and to identify and map any potential geologic hazards of Block Island Sound.

The survey was conducted using an EG&G Uniboom seismic system and an EDO Western sidescan-sonar system. Seismic signals were band-passed between 400 and 4,000 Hz and were recorded at a quarter-second sweep rate. Sidescan sonographs were collected at a 100-m scan range to each side of the ship track. In all, 702 km of seismic-reflection profiles and 402 km of sidescan-sonar records were collected. Navigation was by Loran-C, and the ship position was recorded at 5-minute intervals. Seismic-reflection profiling is continuous and good in quality. Sidescan-sonar records are varied in quality; coverage was intermittent and eventually terminated owing to difficulties with the recorder.

Original records can be seen and studied at the U.S. Geological Survey Data Library at Woods Hole, MA 02543. In this report, trap efficiency was computed from reservoir inflow and outflow sediment data and from reservoir survey and outflow data. Highland Creek Reservoir is a flood-retarding reservoir located in Lake County, near Kelseyville, California. This reservoir has a maximum storage capacity of 3,199 acre-feet and permanent pool storage of 921 acre-feet. Mean annual rainfall for the 14.1 square-mile drainage area above Highland Creek Dam was 29 inches during the December 1965 to September 1977 study period. Resultant mean annual runoff was 17,100 acre-feet. Total reservoir inflow for the 11.8 yea r study period was 202,000 acre-feet, transporting an estimated 126,000 tons (10,700 tons per year) of suspended sediment. Total reservoir outflow for the same period was 188,700 acre-feet, including 15 ,230 tons (1,290 tons per year) of sediment. Estimated trap efficiency for the study period was 88 percent, based on estimated sediment inflow and measured sediment outflow.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/wsp2182","usgsCitation":"Trujillo, L., 1982, Trap-efficiency study, Highland Creek flood-retarding reservoir near Kelseyville, California, water years 1966-77: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2182, iii, 15 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2182.","productDescription":"iii, 15 p.","numberOfPages":"21","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"Y","temporalStart":"1965-10-01","temporalEnd":"1977-09-30","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":293443,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/wsp2182.PNG"},{"id":309694,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2182/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"California","city":"Kelseyville","otherGeospatial":"Highland Creek Flood-Retarding Resevoir","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -123.00807952880858,\n              38.90172091499795\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.00807952880858,\n              38.998374945552115\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.8391647338867,\n              38.998374945552115\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.8391647338867,\n              38.90172091499795\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.00807952880858,\n              38.90172091499795\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a4ce4b07f02db626af1","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Trujillo, L.F.","contributorId":71959,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Trujillo","given":"L.F.","email":"","affiliations":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"preferred":false,"id":145877,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

Using a multiple linear-regression method similar to the one we used previously for peak horizontal acceleration and velocity, we analyzed response spectra period by period for 64 records of 12 shallow earthquakes in western North America, including the recent Coyote Lake and Imperial Valley, California, earthquakes. The resulting predictive equations show amplification of the response values at soil sites for periods greater than or equal to 0.5 s, with maximum amplification exceeding a factor of 2 at 1.5 s. For periods less than 0.5 s there is no statistically significant difference between rock sites and the soil sites represented in the data set. These results are consistent with those of several earlier studies. A particularly significant aspect of the predictive equations is that the response values at different periods are different functions of magnitude (confirming earlier results by McGuire and by Trifunac and Anderson). The slope of the least-squares straight line relating log response to moment magnitude ranges from 0.21 at a period of 0.1 s to greater than 0.5 at periods of 1 s and longer. This result indicates that the conventional practice of scaling a constant spectral shape by peak acceleration will not give accurate answers. The Newmark and Hall method of spectral scaling, using both peak acceleration and peak velocity, largely avoids this error. Comparison of our spectra with the Regulatory Guide 1.60 spectrum anchored at the same value at 0.1 s shows that the Regulatory Guide 1.60 spectrum is exceeded at soil sites for a magnitude of 7.5 at all distances for periods greater than about 0.5 s. Comparison of our spectra for soil sites with the corresponding ATC-3 curve of lateral design force coefficients for the highest seismic zone indicates that the ATC-3 curve is exceeded within about 5 km of a magnitude 6.5 earthquake and within about 20 km of a magnitude 7.5 event. The amount by which it is exceeded is largest in the period range from 0.5 to 2.0 s.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr82881","usgsCitation":"Joyner, W.B., and Boore, D.M., 1982, Estimation of response-spectral values as functions of magnitude, distance, and site conditions: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-881, 29 p., ill. ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82881.","productDescription":"29 p., ill. ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":144170,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0881/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":37466,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0881/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a54e4b07f02db62c212","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Joyner, W. This report contains hydrologic data collected in an active coal mining area in Clay and Vigo Counties, Indiana, from September 1977 through February 1980. Methods of sampling and analysis used in collecting the data also are summarized. The data include field and laboratory measurements of water at 41 wells and 24 stream sites. Variables measured in the field include water temperature, specific conductance, pH, Eh, dissolved oxygen, ground-water levels, and streamflow; and in the laboratory, concentrations of major ions, alkalinity, hardness, trace elementsl, organic carbon, phosphorus, and dissolved solids. Other variables measured in the laboratory include ferrous iron concentration of water samples from selected wells, percent sulfur by weight and the potential acidity of core samples of reclaimed cast overburden, concentrations of elements absorbed on streambed materials, concentrations and particle size of suspended sediment in water, and populations and Shannon diversity indices of phytoplankton in water. Dissolved-solids concentrations and pH of ground water ranged from 173 to 5,130 milligrams per liter and from 6.1 to 8.9, respectively, and of surface water, from 120 to 4,100 milligrams per liter and from 6.1 to 8.8 respectively.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr82639","usgsCitation":"Bobo, L.L., and Eikenberry, S.E., 1982, Hydrologic data collected in and around a surface coal mine, Clay and Vigo counties, Indiana, 1977-80: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-639, vii, 123 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82639.","productDescription":"vii, 123 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":346,"text":"Indiana Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":140240,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0639/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":35533,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0639/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"Indiana","county":"Clay, Vigo","geographicExtents":"{\"type\":\"FeatureCollection\",\"features\":[{\"type\":\"Feature\",\"geometry\":{\"type\":\"Polygon\",\"coordinates\":[[[-87.1992,39.6082],[-87.1233,39.6063],[-87.011,39.6041],[-87.0116,39.5176],[-87.0125,39.4736],[-86.9404,39.4734],[-86.9426,39.3424],[-87.014,39.3426],[-87.0532,39.3433],[-87.0549,39.1701],[-87.1267,39.1702],[-87.2383,39.1728],[-87.238,39.2607],[-87.3485,39.2605],[-87.4578,39.2606],[-87.572,39.261],[-87.6011,39.2612],[-87.6023,39.2626],[-87.6032,39.2638],[-87.6031,39.267],[-87.603,39.2694],[-87.6018,39.2724],[-87.6012,39.2744],[-87.602,39.2768],[-87.6034,39.2783],[-87.6048,39.28],[-87.6057,39.2811],[-87.6062,39.2838],[-87.6068,39.2852],[-87.6068,39.2874],[-87.6049,39.2901],[-87.6031,39.2924],[-87.6006,39.2946],[-87.5988,39.2968],[-87.5981,39.2991],[-87.5987,39.3011],[-87.599,39.3016],[-87.5999,39.3034],[-87.6023,39.3047],[-87.6047,39.3052],[-87.6089,39.3047],[-87.6118,39.3042],[-87.6148,39.3042],[-87.616,39.3044],[-87.617,39.3048],[-87.6182,39.3061],[-87.6181,39.308],[-87.6169,39.3089],[-87.6149,39.3096],[-87.6141,39.3098],[-87.6107,39.3106],[-87.6078,39.3116],[-87.6061,39.3128],[-87.6036,39.3155],[-87.5993,39.3218],[-87.595,39.3267],[-87.5941,39.328],[-87.5925,39.3303],[-87.5901,39.3334],[-87.5876,39.3361],[-87.585,39.3385],[-87.5826,39.3402],[-87.582,39.3405],[-87.5803,39.3412],[-87.5767,39.3426],[-87.5726,39.3431],[-87.5666,39.3426],[-87.5645,39.3424],[-87.5595,39.342],[-87.5588,39.342],[-87.5565,39.3423],[-87.5547,39.3428],[-87.5518,39.3437],[-87.55,39.3451],[-87.5482,39.3474],[-87.5479,39.3479],[-87.5471,39.3492],[-87.5465,39.3509],[-87.5455,39.3522],[-87.5449,39.3529],[-87.5442,39.3533],[-87.5418,39.3542],[-87.5411,39.3544],[-87.5401,39.3544],[-87.539,39.354],[-87.537,39.3529],[-87.5348,39.3517],[-87.5322,39.3507],[-87.5304,39.3516],[-87.5308,39.4178],[-87.5307,39.4388],[-87.5309,39.4767],[-87.5309,39.5615],[-87.531,39.5988],[-87.5311,39.6091],[-87.4607,39.6096],[-87.3819,39.6093],[-87.349,39.6091],[-87.2356,39.6089],[-87.1992,39.6082]]]},\"properties\":{\"name\":\"Clay\",\"state\":\"IN\"}}]}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a26e4b07f02db60f7c1","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Bobo, Linda L.","contributorId":104053,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Bobo","given":"Linda","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":156893,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Eikenberry, Stephen E.","contributorId":35309,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Eikenberry","given":"Stephen","email":"","middleInitial":"E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":156892,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}
