Included are estimates of low-flow frequency at 12 gaging stations, flow duration at 10 gaging stations, and low-flow frequency characteristics at 23 low-flow partial-record stations and 137 miscellaneous sites. Equations are provided to estimate low-flow characteristics at ungaged sites and at sites where one base-flow discharge measurement is available. The equations were determined from multiple-regression analyses that related low-flow characteristics at gaging stations and low-flow partial-record stations to basin characteristics. The standard error of estimate is provided for each method of estimating the annual minimum 7-day mean flow below which the flow will fall on the average of once in 2 years and once in 10 years. The standard error of estimate for the 7-day 10-year low flow ranged from 6% to 76% depending on the type of data available. Standard error provides the user with the expected degree of accuracy for each method.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr80749","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources","usgsCitation":"Holmstrom, B.K., 1980, Low-flow characteristics of streams in the Menominee-Oconto-Peshtigo River basin, Wisconsin: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-749, Report: iv, 82 p.; 2 Plates: 12.00 x 18.00 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr80749.","productDescription":"Report: iv, 82 p.; 2 Plates: 12.00 x 18.00 inches","numberOfPages":"87","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"Y","costCenters":[{"id":677,"text":"Wisconsin Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":52679,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0749/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":52678,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0749/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":52677,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0749/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":156975,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0749/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":407825,"rank":5,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_11756.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"scale":"500000","country":"United States","state":"Wisconsin","county":"Brown County, Florence County, Forest County Langlade County, Marinette County, Menominee County, Oconto County, Outagamie County, Shawano County, Vilas County","otherGeospatial":"Menominee River, Oconto River, Peshtigo River","geographicExtents":"{\n \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n \"features\": [\n {\n \"type\": \"Feature\",\n \"properties\": {},\n \"geometry\": {\n \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n \"coordinates\": [\n [\n [\n -89.593505859375,\n 44.166444664458595\n ],\n [\n -89.593505859375,\n 46.263442671779885\n ],\n [\n -87.47314453125,\n 46.263442671779885\n ],\n [\n -87.47314453125,\n 44.166444664458595\n ],\n [\n -89.593505859375,\n 44.166444664458595\n ]\n ]\n ]\n }\n }\n ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a7fe4b07f02db6486de","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Holmstrom, B. He reported encountering water at a depth of about 8 feet in June 1975 and also reported a rise in water level to approximately land surface by early August. Neither incident was expected by the developer. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Municipality of Anchorage, had conducted an artificial-recharge experiment approximately 9,000 feet northeast of Spring Acres Subdivision from May 20 through September 19, 1975. Recharge experiments were also conducted in 1971, 1973, and 1974. The proximity of the 1975 recharge experiment to the subdivision caused speculation on the possible connection between the experiment and the water problems encountered by the developer.

The effect of the artificial-recharge experiments on water levels at Spring Acres Subdivision was evaluated by using two digital-computer models constructed to simulate the water-level rises induced by the artificial recharge. The models predicted that the artificial recharge would have caused water levels in the aquifer immediately underlying Spring Acres Subdivision to rise approximately 0.2 foot from May 20 to August 7, 1975. The models also predicted a total rise in ground-water levels of 1.1 feet at this location from July 16, 1973, to August 7, 1975, as a result of the artificial-recharge experiments.

Water-level data collected for auger holes in March 1975 by a consulting firm for the contractor indicated a depth to water of 6 to 7 feet below land surface at Spring Acres Subdivision at this time. Water levels measured in and near Spring Acres Subdivision several years before and after the 1973-75 artificial-recharge experiments showed seasonal rises of 2 to 12.4 feet. A depth to water below land surface of 2.6 feet was measured 600 feet from the subdivision in 1971 and in the subdivision in 1977. Average depth to water in the area was 7.0 feet from early 1976 to September 1979.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr801284","usgsCitation":"Meyer, W., and Patrick, L., 1980, Effects of artificial-recharge experiments at Ship Creek alluvial fan on water levels at Spring Acres Subdivision, Anchorage, Alaska: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-1284, iv, 42 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr801284.","productDescription":"iv, 42 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":418824,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/1284/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":173158,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/1284/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Alaska","city":"Anchorage","otherGeospatial":"Spring Acres Subdivision","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -150.4755123927178,\n              61.368427103919885\n            ],\n            [\n              -150.4755123927178,\n              60.992578931987026\n            ],\n            [\n              -149.30047943452033,\n              60.992578931987026\n            ],\n            [\n              -149.30047943452033,\n              61.368427103919885\n            ],\n            [\n              -150.4755123927178,\n              61.368427103919885\n            ]\n          ]\n        ],\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a4ae4b07f02db62498d","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Meyer, William","contributorId":87538,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Meyer","given":"William","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":237869,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Patrick, Leslie","contributorId":36136,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Patrick","given":"Leslie","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":237868,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

The Geological Survey began its water-resources studies in New York State in 1895 with a stream-gaging program in the Catskill Mountain region and entered its first cooperative program, with the Office of the State Engineer, in 1900. Since 1910, the Survey has maintained a District office in Albany to direct its water investigations within the State. A Long Island subdistrict office was established in 1932 to monitor and study the ground-water situation in this area of increasing urbanization. Subdistrict offices are also maintained in Ithaca and Albany to collect and interpret data from western and eastern New York, respectively. A field station is maintained in Potsdam to collect records in the northernmost part of the State. A bibliography of reports published or released in 1980 by the New York District is included. These samples, from water depths of 3,150 m to 200 m, combined with seismic reflection data, identify seven rock units in apparently normal stratigraphic position. From oldest to youngest they are: Unit A: Hard graywacke, argillite, and possible intrusive rocks of inferred Late Cretaceous age that crop out in the eastern part of the slope and probably underlie much of the Fairweather Ground. Unit B: At least 900 m of sandstone, conglomerate, shale, and subordinate basaltic volcanic rocks west of Yakutat Seavalley between 142° W. and 143° W. that is not dated but is probably of late Paleocene to early Eocene age. Unit C: 1,300 m of basaltic flow and pyroclastic rocks with associated clastic marine sedimentary rocks that makes up much of the rugged lower slope throughout the area. This sequence is largely, or entirely, of early Eocene age. Unit D: Up to 2,100 m of early and middle Eocene sandstone, conglomerate, siltstone, and tuffaceous organic-rich shale that partly overlies, and partly intertongues with, the volcanic unit. Unit E: 800 m of early to late Eocene and early Oligocene(?) organic-rich shale, tuffaceous shale, siltstone, and sandstone that partly intertongues with, and partly overlies units C and D. Unit F: 300+ m of siltstone, at least in part of late Oligocene age, that crops out locally along the upper slope where it unconformably overlies Unit E. Unit G: Up to 2,000 m of late Cenozoic (middle Miocene? and younger) clastic sedimentary rocks including abundant glaciomarine deposits that unconformably overlie all the older units.

The early Tertiary sequence sampled on the continental slope differs strikingly in lithology and structure from coeval rocks exposed onshore or penetrated in unsuccessful exploratory wells on the adjacent mainland. Units B, D, and E include abundant source rocks that have undergone a thermal history resulting in local generation of hydrocarbons. Sandstones from Units D and E locally have secondary porosities up to 31 percent and permeabilities to 36 md. Seismic reflection data indicate that the sequence with the most favorable source and reservoir potential (Units B, D, E) dips northeastward beneath OCS Lease Sale 55 where it could be a favorable exploratory target if involved in suitable traps. Young anticlinal folds are not present, but other important traps are likely to include drape structures, horsts, and faults within the early Tertiary sequence and pinchouts, fault traps, or combination structural/stratigraphic traps along the northeastern margin of the early Tertiary basin.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr801089","usgsCitation":"Winkler, G., Winkler, G.R., Coonrad, W.L., and Claypool, G., 1980, Preliminary report on the geology of the continental slope adjacent to OCS Lease Sale 55, eastern Gulf of Alaska: Petroleum resource implications: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-1089, v, 72 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr801089.","productDescription":"v, 72 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":418010,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/1089/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":162495,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/1089/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Alaska","otherGeospatial":"Gulf of Alaska","geographicExtents":"{\n \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n \"features\": [\n {\n \"type\": \"Feature\",\n \"properties\": {},\n \"geometry\": {\n \"coordinates\": [\n [\n [\n -150.23261376829967,\n 59.74077951274211\n ],\n [\n -150.23261376829967,\n 56.64599220043709\n ],\n [\n -137.8814909865443,\n 56.64599220043709\n ],\n [\n -137.8814909865443,\n 59.74077951274211\n ],\n [\n -150.23261376829967,\n 59.74077951274211\n ]\n ]\n ],\n \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n }\n }\n ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4aaee4b07f02db66c851","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Winkler, Gary R.","contributorId":75513,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Winkler","given":"Gary R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":237743,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Winkler, G. The area is flat and low lying with elevations ranging from sea level in the southeast part to 10 feet at Chekika Hammock with an average elevation of about 6 feet. Rainfall in the area averages 57.9 inches a year with about 80% of the total falling during the May to October wet season. There is some residential development and farming in the east-central part of the area where land elevations are slightly higher. Pressure by agricultural, commerical, and housing interests to develop the area is increasing. Historically, most of the area was flooded for extended periods of time. The construction of canals, levees, and controls has lowered the average water levels of the area. This has reduced the extent and decreased the time of flooding. Long-term hydrographs show graphically the effects that the water control works have had on the hydrologic system. The change in discharge into the north end of the East Everglades through the Tamiami Canal outlets, Levees 30 to 67A, due to construction is very pronounced. Maps showing the altitude of the water table for wet and dry periods indicate that Levee 67 Extended Canal greatly influences the water levels and shape of the water-table contours in the northwestern part of the East Everglades. One of the methods by which the use of highly variable streamflow in the area can be evaluated is with the aid of multiyear low-flow frequency information. Using data form 19 streamflow-gaging stations in the study area, maps were developed from which the mean annual discharge and discharges for the 2- and 50-year recurrence interval for durations of 12,24, 36, 48, and 60 months can be obtained for rural ungaged sites that have drainage areas of less than 1,000 square miles. Streamflow is simulated under the following two conditions: (1) No reservoirs are in the system and (2) all of the present reservoirs are in place and operated with current rules.
\n
At Wisconsin Dells, 20 miles upstream from Portage, daily streamflow hydrographs are estimated for the 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-year floods. These were determined from statistical analysis of the simulated daily streamflows for the condition of all reservoirs in place.
\n
The reservoirs have a significant impact on floods. The mean annual flood peak at Wisconsin Dells is lowered about 20% from 43,000 cubic feet per second for the simulated, unregulated condition to 34,000 cubic feet per second for the simulated, regulated condition. The 100-year flood peak at Wisconsin Dells is reduced about 10% (92,000 to 82,000 cubic feet per second) between the simulated, unregulated and simulated, regulated conditions.
\n
The 100-year flood peak at Wisconsin Dells, computed from the simulated, regulated streamflow data for the period 1915-76, is 82,000 cubic feet per second, including the effects of all the reservoirs in the river system, as they are currently operated. It also includes the effects of Lakes Du Bay, Petenwell, and Castle Rock which are significant for spring floods but are insignificant for summer or fall floods because they are normally maintained nearly full in the summer and fall and have very little storage for floodwaters. In this format the information is presented in two-page units: the left page presents a text which summarizes the information for an area or subject and the right page consists of one or more illustrations. Daily mean water-level fluctuations and trends are shown in hydrographs for the previous year and fluctuations of the monthly mean water level for the previous 10 years in selected observation wells in Georgia. The selected wells best illustrate the effects of changes in recharge and discharge in the various ground-water reservoirs in the State A short narrative explains fluctuations and trends in each hydrograph.

Monitoring ground-water levels is essential to the understanding of storage changes and other changes in a ground-water reservoir or aquifer. Fluctuations and long-term trends in water levels occur as a result of recharge to and discharge from the reservoir. Varying rates of recharge occur chiefly as a result of varying rates of precipitation, evapotranspiration, and surface-water infiltration into the ground-water reservoir. Discharge occurs as natural flow from the aquifer to streams and springs, direct ground-water evapotranspiration, and as manmade withdrawal from wells.

Ground-water levels have been monitored in Georgia for at least a hundred years. Most of the data gathered were used in area 1 reconnaissance studies, and published, usually as tables, with a few graphs of water-level trends. These data had limited value, especially considering the time lag between data collection and publication. With the advent of continuously monitoring recorders and computer processing of data, this information can now be presented to the user in an understandable and timely manner.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr80501W","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the North-south traverses were spaced at 0.8-km intervals at an altitude of about 300m above the surface of the ground. The contour interval is 20 and 100 gammas, depending on the steepness of local magnetic gradients in the Earth's magnetic field. A regional field (the International Geomagnetic Reference Field - 1975) of approximately 5-6 gammas/km was removed from the data before contouring by computer.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Reston, VA","doi":"10.3133/mf1204C","usgsCitation":"Griscom, A., 1980, Maps showing aeromagnetic survey and interpretation of the Virgin Mountains Instant Study Area Clark County, Nevada: U.S. Geological Survey Miscellaneous Field Studies Map 1204, 32.08 x 34.47 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/mf1204C.","productDescription":"32.08 x 34.47 inches","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":183359,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/mf1204C.PNG"},{"id":327246,"rank":1,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/mf/1204-C/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"scale":"62500","country":"United States","state":"Nevada","otherGeospatial":"Virgin Mountains","geographicExtents":"{ \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\", \"features\": [ { \"type\": \"Feature\", \"properties\": {}, \"geometry\": { \"type\": \"Polygon\", \"coordinates\": [ [ [ -114.25,36.5 ], [ -114.25,36.666666666666664 ], [ -114,36.666666666666664 ], [ -114,36.5 ], [ -114.25,36.5 ] ] ] } } ] }","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a17e4b07f02db6045c5","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Griscom, Andrew","contributorId":23520,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Griscom","given":"Andrew","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":262320,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

The area was studied during 1970, 1971, and 1972 by personnel of the U. S. Geological Survey and the U. S. Bureau of Mines to evaluate its mineral-resource potential as required by the Wilderness Act of 1964. This evaluation is based on a search of the literature courthouse and production records, geologic field mapping, field inspection of claims and prospects, analyses of bedrock and stream-sediment samples, and an aeromagnetic survey.\r\n\r\nThe North Absaroka Wilderness is underlain almost entirely by andesitic and basaltic volcanic rocks of Eocene age. These volcanics rest on deformed sedimentary rocks of Paleozoic and, locally, of Mesozoic age that are exposed at places along the northern and eastern edges of the wilderness. Dikes and other igneous intrusive bodies cut both the volcanic and sedimentary rocks. A nearly flat detachment fault, the Heart Mountain fault, and a related steep break-away fault have displaced middle and upper Paleozoic rocks and some of the older part of the volcanic sequence to the southeast. A much greater thickness of volcanic rocks was found to be involved in Heart Mountain faulting than had previously been recognized; however, most of the volcanic rocks and many of the intrusives were emplaced after Heart Mountain faulting. Local folding and high-angle faulting in mid-Eocene time have deformed all but the youngest part of the volcanic sequence in the southeastern part of the wilderness. This deformation is interpreted as the last pulse of Laramide orogeny.\r\n\r\nThe results of this study indicate that the mineral-resource potential of the wilderness is minimal. Bentonite, petroleum, low-quality coal, and localized deposits of uranium and chromite have been produced in the surrounding region from rocks that underlie the volcanic rocks; but such deposits, if present in the wilderness, would be too deeply buried, too small, or too sporadically distributed to be profitably located and exploited. Copper and gold mines and prospects are present on the fringes of the wilderness, but otherwise the area seems to be devoid of economically valuable concentrations of metallic minerals. No surface evidence of geothermal-energy potential was found.\r\n\r\nKnown mineral deposits in the vicinity of the North Absaroka Wilderness are associated with intrusive rocks. From the Cooke City mining district, just north of the wilderness, replacement deposits in Upper Cambrian carbonate rocks may extend a short distance into the north edge of the wilderness, In the Sunlight mining region, an enclave nearly surrounded by the wilderness, mineralization occurs in veins and is disseminated in volcanic and plutonic rocks. Richer concentrations of metallic minerals may occur in carbonate rocks adjacent to intrusive bodies at depth beneath the volcanic rocks in the Sunlight region. A few small intrusive bodies occur in the wilderness, but no significant associated mineralization was detected. Aeromagnetic data indicate that other intrusives not exposed by erosion may occur in the wilderness; however, no significant metamorphism or alteration is evident at the surface to indicate their presence.\r\n\r\nAlthough most of the rocks of the wilderness are of igneous origin, they are all so old (Eocene) that it is unlikely that they retain any original heat. The Pleistocene rhyolitic ash-flow tuffs in the southwestern part of the wilderness were erupted from sources in Yellowstone National Park just to the west; however, in the wilderness these tuffs are too thin to contain any residual heat.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/b1447","usgsCitation":"Nelson, W.H., Prostka, H.J., Williams, F.E., Elliott, J., and Peterson, D.L., 1980, Geology and mineral resources of the North Absaroka Wilderness and vicinity, Park County, Wyoming, with sections on mineralization of the Sunlight mining region and geology and mineralization of the Cooke City mining district, and a section on aeromagnetic interpretation: U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 1447, Report: vii, 101 p.; 2 Plates: 32.50 × 23.50 inches and 28.00 × 24.00 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/b1447.","productDescription":"Report: vii, 101 p.; 2 Plates: 32.50 × 23.50 inches and 28.00 × 24.00 inches","costCenters":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":109036,"rank":700,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_19319.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"},"description":"19319"},{"id":165505,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1447/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":63212,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1447/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":63211,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1447/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":63210,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1447/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"scale":"125000","country":"United States","state":"Wyoming","county":"Park County","otherGeospatial":"North Absaroka Wilderness and vicinity","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -110.2,\n              44.45\n            ],\n            [\n              -109.267,\n              44.45\n            ],\n            [\n              -109.267,\n              45\n            ],\n            [\n              -110.2,\n              45\n            ],\n            [\n              -110.2,\n              44.45\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4adce4b07f02db68648a","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Nelson, Willis H.","contributorId":84777,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Nelson","given":"Willis","email":"","middleInitial":"H.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":214497,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Prostka, Harold J.","contributorId":52185,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Prostka","given":"Harold","email":"","middleInitial":"J.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":214495,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Williams, Frank E.","contributorId":72383,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Williams","given":"Frank","email":"","middleInitial":"E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":214496,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Elliott, James E.","contributorId":15595,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Elliott","given":"James E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":214493,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4},{"text":"Peterson, Donald L.","contributorId":28597,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Peterson","given":"Donald","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":214494,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":5}]}}
