The measured precipitation at Flynn Creek of 92.9 inches was 5 inches less than at either Needle Branch or Deer Creek. Unit flood runoff during the prelogging period was found to be lowest on Flynn Creek and highest on Needle Branch. On Needle Branch, there appear to be two distinct low-flow patterns, one for a saturated and one for an unsaturated soil condition. The average annual sediment yield was highest on Flynn Creek, 321 tons per square mile, and lowest on Needle Branch, 166 tons per square mile. Maximum water temperatures were 62°F on Flynn Creek and 61°F on Needle Branch and Deer Creek.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/cir642","usgsCitation":"Harris, D.D., and Williams, R.C., 1971, Streamflow, sediment-transport, and water-temperature characteristics of the three small watersheds in the Alsea River basin, Oregon: U.S. Geological Survey Circular 642, v, 21 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/cir642.","productDescription":"v, 21 p.","costCenters":[{"id":518,"text":"Oregon Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":30900,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0642/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":409822,"rank":3,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_23957.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":124366,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0642/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Oregon","otherGeospatial":"Alsea River basin","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -123.833,\n              44.572\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.833,\n              44.528\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.9,\n              44.528\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.9,\n              44.572\n            ],\n            [\n              -123.833,\n              44.572\n            ]\n          ]\n        ],\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b15e4b07f02db6a4cc6","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Harris, David Dell","contributorId":24338,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Harris","given":"David","email":"","middleInitial":"Dell","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":147689,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Williams, Robert Charles","contributorId":35306,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Williams","given":"Robert","email":"","middleInitial":"Charles","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":147690,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

The effects are widespread and often produce significant alterations of the environment. The hydrologic bench-mark network was established to provide data on stream basins which are little affected by these changes. The network is made up of selected stream basins which are not expected to be significantly altered by man. Data obtained from these basins can be used to document natural changes in hydrologic characteristics with time, to provide a better understanding of the hydrologic structure of natural basins, and to provide a comparative base for studying the effects of man on the hydrologic environment. \r\n\r\nThere are 57 bench-mark basins in 37 States. These basins are in areas having a wide variety of climate and topography. The bench-mark basins and the types of data collected in the basins are described.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Dept. of the Interior, Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/cir460D","usgsCitation":"Cobb, E.D., and Biesecker, J., 1971, The national hydrologic bench-mark network: U.S. Geological Survey Circular 460, iv, 38 p. :ill., map ;26 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/cir460D.","productDescription":"iv, 38 p. :ill., map ;26 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":120873,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0460d/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":31163,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0460d/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a81e4b07f02db64a064","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Cobb, Ernest D.","contributorId":25139,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Cobb","given":"Ernest","email":"","middleInitial":"D.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":148114,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Biesecker, J.E.","contributorId":103257,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Biesecker","given":"J.E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":148115,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

The basins in 1970 are agricultural land for the most part, but urban and industrial development is imminent as the Philadelphia metropolitan area expands. Hopefully, as changes caused by urbanization occur in future years, data published herein will be useful as a base for comparison.

Pickering Creek basin has a higher population than the upper East Branch Brandywine Creek basin. The two are comparable in discharge characteristics and in shapes and sizes of channels, but the Pickering Creek basin is producing a considerably larger suspended-sediment load. Also the effects of urbanization are discernible in some chemical parameters.

During the study, a small subbasin, one-half square mile in area, was converted from agricultural use to an industrial park. In order to provide uniform executive action in classifying public lands, standards for determining which lands are valuable for mineral resources, for example, leasable mineral lands, or for other products are prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey. This report presents the classification standards for determining which Federal lands are classifiable as geothermal steam and associated geothermal resources lands under the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 (84 Star. 1566). \r\n\r\nThe concept of a geothermal resources province is established for classification of lands for the purpose of retention in Federal ownership of rights to geothermal resources upon disposal of Federal lands. A geothermal resources province is defined as an area in which higher than normal temperatures are likely to occur with depth and in which there is a reasonable possibility of finding reservoir rocks that will yield steam or heated fluids to wells. \r\n\r\nThe determination of a 'known geothermal resources area' is made after careful evaluation of the available geologic, geochemical, and geophysical data and any evidence derived from nearby discoveries, competitive interests, and other indicia. The initial classification required by the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 is presented.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Dept. of the Interior, Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/cir647","usgsCitation":"Godwin, L.H., Haigler, L.B., Rioux, R., White, D., Muffler, L., and Wayland, R.G., 1971, Classification of public lands valuable for geothermal steam and associated geothermal resources: U.S. Geological Survey Circular 647, iii, 18 p. :maps ;26 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/cir647.","productDescription":"iii, 18 p. :maps ;26 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":122505,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0647/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":31366,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1971/0647/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b32e4b07f02db6b46fa","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Godwin, Larry H.","contributorId":57446,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Godwin","given":"Larry","email":"","middleInitial":"H.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":148571,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Haigler, L. The Pacific Mountain System, near the west coast, receives large amounts of precipitation, has very mild temperatures, and contains perhaps 90 percent of the glacier ice. The Rocky Mountain or Eastern System, on the other hand, receives nearly an order of magnitude less precipitation, has temperatures that range from subpolar to subtropic, and contains glaciers that are much smaller in both size and total area.\r\n\r\nAs a contribution to the International Hydrological Decade program on combined balances at selected glaciers, the U.S. Geological Survey is conducting studies of ice and water balance on four glaciers in the Pacific Mountain System: Wolverine and Gulkana Glaciers in Alaska, South Cascade Glacier in Washington, and Maclure Glacier in California. Similar data are being collected by other organizations at five glaciers in western Canada, including two in the Rocky Mountain System, and at one glacier in the Rocky Mountain System in northern Alaska.\r\n\r\nGulkana, Wolverine, South Cascade, and Maclure Glaciers have dissimilar mass balances, and each is fairly representative of the glaciers for its particular region. Gulkana Glacier (lat 63 deg 15' N., Alaska Range, Alaska) normally has an equilibrium line at an altitude of 1,800 m (meters), an activity index of about 6 mm/m (millimeters per meter), a winter balance of about 1.0 m, and an annual exchange of about 2.2 m. (Balance values are given in terms of water-equivalent measure; the winter balance of 1 m, for example, indicates a volume of ice equal in mass to a volume of water 1 m in depth covering the area of the glacier.) The normal approximate parameters for the other glaciers studied are as follows: Wolverine Glacier (lat 60 deg 24' N., Kenai Mountains, Alaska) - equilibrium-line altitude 1,200 m, activity index 9 mm/m, winter balance 2.5 m, and annual exchange 5.5 m; South Cascade Glacier (lat 48 deg 22' N., North Cascades, Wash.) - equilibrium-line altitude 1,900 m, activity index 17 mm/m, winter balance 3.1 m, and annual exchange 6.6 m; and Maclure Glacier (lat 37 deg 45' N., Sierra Nevada, Calif.) - equilibrium-line altitude 3,600 m, activity index 23 mm/m, winter balance 2.3 m, and annual exchange 4.6 m.\r\n\r\nMass balances of these four glaciers and their drainage basins are measured annually by standard glaciological techniques. In addition, the hydrologic balance is calculated using streamflow and precipitation measurements. Combining these independent measurements results in fairly well defined values of water and ice balance for the glaciers and drainage basins. A revision of the standard International Hydrological Decade mass-balance system permits combination of annual and stratigraphic terms.\r\n\r\nThe annual balance of South Cascade Glacier at the end of the 1965 hydrologic year was slightly positive (+0.07 m averaged over the glacier), but continued ablation and deficient accumulation in October 1965 resulted in slightly negative net balances for both the glacier and the drainage basin. Factors tending to produce this near-zero balance were the above-average late-winter balance (3.48 m) and the numerous summer snowfalls. Ice ablation averaged about 39 mm of water per day during the main melt season. Runoff during the summer ablation season was lower than the 1958-64 average.\r\n\r\nThe South Cascade Glacier annual balance in 1966 (-0.94 m) was considerably more negative mainly owing to the deficient winter snowpack (the late-winter balance was only 2.52 m) and the warm dry summer. Ice ablation averaged about 44 mm of water per day during the melt season. The loss in storage of this and other glaciers in the North Cascades increased the runoff of many valley streams by approximately 50 percent during August and September.\r\n\r\nThe 1966 Gulkana Glacier annual balance was slightly positive (+0.06 m); on the basis of past observations and the rapid terminus ret","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/pp715A","collaboration":"A contribution to the International Hydrological Decade","usgsCitation":"Meier, M.F., Tangborn, W.V., Mayo, L.R., and Post, A., 1971, Combined Ice and Water Balances of Gulkana and Wolverine Glaciers, Alaska, and South Cascade Glacier, Washington, 1965 and 1966 Hydrologic Years: U.S. Geological Survey Professional Paper 715, 22 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/pp715A.","productDescription":"22 p.","temporalStart":"1964-10-01","temporalEnd":"1966-09-30","costCenters":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":140787,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":12506,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://www.nps.gov/history/history/online_books/geology/publications/pp/715-A/index.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":33352,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33353,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33354,"rank":402,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-3.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33355,"rank":403,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-4.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33356,"rank":404,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-5.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33357,"rank":405,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/plate-6.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":33358,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0715a/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b24e4b07f02db6ae731","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Meier, Mark Frederick","contributorId":30982,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Meier","given":"Mark","email":"","middleInitial":"Frederick","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152278,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Tangborn, Wendell V.","contributorId":32152,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Tangborn","given":"Wendell","email":"","middleInitial":"V.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152279,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Mayo, Lawrence R.","contributorId":98344,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Mayo","given":"Lawrence","email":"","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152281,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Post, Austin","contributorId":90709,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Post","given":"Austin","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":152280,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4}]}}

Spectrographic methods differ chiefly in techniques of preconcentrating the elements. For waters with dissolved solids of less than 1,000 milligrams per liter, the method of evaporating to dryness and determining the elements in the dried residue is sensitive, precise, and reasonably accurate. The lower limits of detection vary with the quantity of dissolved solids. Twenty-four elements are determined by this method.\r\nFor waters with more than 1,000 milligrams per liter of dissolved solids, it is necessary to separate the minor elements from the major constituents before spectrographically determining the former, in order to achieve adequate lower limits of detection. Such procedures generally require more time than the residue method. In the first of two such procedures given, 21 of the metallic elements are precipitated with thioacetamide prior to spectrographic determination. In an alternate procedure, 18 elements are precipitated quantitatively with complexing reagents 8-hydroxyquinoline, tannic acid, and thioanlide. This method is faster than the thioacetamide method, but at the sacrifice of some elements. This report presents data obtained during the first 13 years of the proposed 20-year study. \r\n\r\nFor the period of record 1954-66, runoff from grazed watersheds has averaged about 33 acre-feet per square mile per year. Runoff from ungrazed watersheds averaged from 71 to 76 percent of that from grazed watersheds. During the last 6 years of the period, however, ungrazed watersheds produced 69 to 71 percent as much runoff as grazed watersheds. The sediment yield frown grazed watersheds during the same period was about 3 acre-feet per square mile per year. Sediment yield from ungrazed watersheds ranged from 51 to 75 percent of that from grazed watersheds and averaged 66 percent. The largest change in these relations occurred about 2 years after livestock were excluded from certain watersheds. The causative factors for changes in the runoff and sediment yield relations are not entirely clear. At the end of 13 years, a significant change had occurred in the amount of bare soil and rock. in the ground-cover index, and in the litter and moss on the grazed watersheds. These items remained essentially unchanged on ungrazed watersheds. The changes in ground-cover factors were not of large magnitude and did not occur at the same rate as the changes in runoff and sediment yield. A large part of the difference appears to have been caused by a change in the structure of surface soil. which was brought about by the elimination of trampling by livestock. \r\n\r\nDeer mice were the most common rodent present on the experimental watersheds, but even their population was not great enough to affect the composition of range vegetation. Deer mice populations remained comparable on grazed and ungrazed watersheds during the study. Other rodents were not present in sufficient numbers to allow their comparison on grazed and ungrazed range. Desert cottontail rabbits and black-tailed jackrabbits were more plentiful in ungrazed watersheds but were not present in large enough numbers to affect range vegetation.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Govt. In 1964, nearly 30 percent of the water supply in the study area of about 27 square miles was obtained from wells in the glacial-outwash aquifer underlying the valley. Ground-water demand has increased steadily since the late 1800's, and excessive pumpage during the years of World War II caused water levels to decline to critical levels. Natural recharge to the aquifer, from precipitation, is about 8.5 mgd (million gallons per day). In 1964, the total water use was about 30 mgd, of which 8.1 mgd was obtained from wells in Mill Creek valley, and the remainder was imported from outside the basin. With rapid industrial expansion and population growth, demand for ground water is continuing to increase. By the year 2000 ground-water pumpage is expected to exceed 25 mgd. \r\n\r\nAt a public hearing before the Ohio Water Commission in 1961, artificial recharge of the aquifer through injection wells was proposed as a possible solution to the Mill Creek valley water-supply problem. The present study attempts to determine the feasibility of injection-well recharge systems in the Mill Creek valley. \r\n\r\nAlthough basically simple, the hydrologic system in Mill Creek valley is complex in detail and is difficult to evaluate using conventional quantitative methods. Because of this complexity, an electric analog model was used to test specific development plans. \r\n\r\nThree hypothetical pumping plans were developed by projecting past pumpage data to the years 1980 and 2000. Various combinations of injection wells were tested on the model under different hypothetical conditions of pumpage. Based on analog model analysis, from three to eight inject-ion wells, with an approximate input of 2 mgd each, would reverse the trend in declining groundwater levels and provide adequate water to meet anticipated future demands.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Govt. Large-scale farming operations in the area have used ground water as the major source of irrigation water for nearly three quarters of a century. In 1968, completion of the San Luis Canal part of the California Aqueduct, made surface water available to farmers. In time the widespread use of this imported water may cause chemical-quality changes in the native ground water. To document conditions prior to any possible changes, 361 samples of ground water were taken before deliveries of surface water were begun. The data will serve as a base to which future investigations can be compared. To establish any trends, the results were compared to earlier chemical data for the area. The results indicated that only minor changes in chemical quality had occurred between 1951 and 1968.

Water from an upper water-bearing zone is markedly different from water in a lower water-bearing zone. Individual equations are presented for estimating flood discharges for selected recurrence intervals up to a 25-year flood for drainage areas 0.5 square miles and larger, a 50-year flood for drainage areas 20 square miles and larger, and a 100-year flood for drainage areas 50 square miles and larger. A ratio method is used for estimating a 50-year flood for drainage areas 0.5 to 20 square miles. The equations were defined from multiple-regression analysis of flood peak records and basin characteristics for 119 continuous-record gaging stations and 114 crest-stage partial-record stations in Wisconsin and adjoining States. Of the severai basin characteristics used in this study, only drainage area, main-channel slope, lake and marsh area, and areal factors were found to be statistically significant at the 99 percent effectiveness level for all flood frequencies. Solution of a hypothetical problem is given for using the flood-frequency equations. Graphs are presented for solution of flood discharges on regulated streams where the formulas are not applicable. Flood-frequency characteristics, 2-year flood to 100-year flood, and drainage basin characteristics for stations used in the multiple regression are presented in the appendices of this report.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr7176","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation No identifiable sources of ground-water inflow below t he surface of the river could be found in the imagery. The thermal patterns from the generating plants and the major tri butary inflow are readily apparent in imagery obtained from an altitude of 305 meters. Though the patterns are generally discernible in the imagery from 1,067-meter and 1,524-meter altitudes, there is not sufficient ground resolution to make any but the most general qualitative analyses. The quality of the imagery varied with land-water temperature relations as well as with instrument properties.
\n
Portions of the tape-recorded imagery were processed in a color-coded quantization to enhance the displays and to attach quantitative significance to the data. Apparent radiant temperature computations from the 305-meter imagery were generally within l° Celsius of ground-truth data.
\n
The study indicates a marked decrease in water temperature in the Missouri River prior to early fall and a moderate increase in temperature in late fall because of the Lake Sakakawea impoundment. At the present time, thermal additions generated by the powerplants have little effect on the temperature regimen of the Missouri River at high rates of river discharge.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr7181","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).","usgsCitation":"Crosby, O., 1971, Thermal study of the Missouri River in North Dakota using infrared imagery: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 71-81, iv, 46 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr7181.","productDescription":"iv, 46 p.","numberOfPages":"54","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":478,"text":"North Dakota Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true},{"id":34685,"text":"Dakota Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":162920,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/ofr7181.jpg"},{"id":311193,"rank":1,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1971/0081/report.pdf","text":"Report","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"description":"Report"}],"country":"United States","state":"North Dakota","otherGeospatial":"Missouri River","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -101.71142578125,\n              46.803819640791566\n            ],\n            [\n              -101.71142578125,\n              47.58393661978137\n            ],\n            [\n              -100.469970703125,\n              47.58393661978137\n            ],\n            [\n              -100.469970703125,\n              46.803819640791566\n            ],\n            [\n              -101.71142578125,\n              46.803819640791566\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a56e4b07f02db62db40","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Crosby, Orlo A.","contributorId":6065,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Crosby","given":"Orlo A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":236533,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

Basic hydrologic data under natural and developed conditions are needed to appraise the effects of the structures on the yield and mode of occurrence of runoff .
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Austin, TX","doi":"10.3133/ofr72328","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Texas Water Development Board and the Soil Conservation Service","usgsCitation":"Sansom, J., 1971, Annual compilation and analysis of hydrologic data for Honey Creek, Trinity River Basin, Texas, 1969: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 72-328, v, 85 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr72328.","productDescription":"v, 85 p.","numberOfPages":"90","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":327724,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/ofr72328.JPG"},{"id":287735,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1972/0328/report.pdf"}],"country":"United States","state":"Texas","otherGeospatial":"Honey Creek, Trinity River Basin","geographicExtents":"{ \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\", \"features\": [ { \"type\": \"Feature\", \"properties\": {}, \"geometry\": { \"type\": \"Polygon\", \"coordinates\": [ [ [ -98.91,29.4 ], [ -98.91,33.81 ], [ -94.36,33.81 ], [ -94.36,29.4 ], [ -98.91,29.4 ] ] ] } } ] }","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ac8e4b07f02db67bc60","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Sansom, J.N.","contributorId":14391,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Sansom","given":"J.N.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":236772,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}
