Lambeophyllum? spp. A and B are recognized in the Tyrone Limestone. \r\n\r\nGrewingkia canadensis (Billings, 1862) and Streptelasma divaricans (Nicholson, 1875b) are the only solitary Rugosa known from the Upper Ordovician in the Cincinnati Arch region of Kentucky-Indiana-Ohio. Their earliest occurrence suggests introduction during an early Richmondian transgression. The two species have similar distributions; they favored normal marine waters of intermediate depth where calcium carbonate sediments accumulated and brachiopods and bryozoans thrived. G. canadensis probably lived in stable, low-energy environments, but the corals were transported during higher energy conditions before final deposition and rapid burial. S. divaricans was epifaunal on stabilized carbonate substrates during periods of nondeposition. Energy conditions remained low, and subsequent, usually argillaceous sediments often buried these corals in growth position. G. canadensis and S. divaricans attained their greatest diameter and length, respectively, on the southwestern side of the Cincinnati Arch region. The average number of septa in G. canadensis generally increased during Richmondian time, and simpler axial regions became more predominant in both species. These trends may be related to decreasing water depth. \r\n\r\nG. canadensis and S. divaricans are confined to the Richmond Solitary Coral Province, which formed a narrow belt extending from the Nashville Dome, along the Cincinnati Arch region to northern Michigan, and through southern Ontario and Quebec. The Red River-Stony Mountain Solitary Coral Province occupied the remainder of North America during the Richmondian. Because the taxa in these provinces are different, solitary corals cannot now be used to correlate strata outside the geographically restricted Richmond Province with the North American Upper Ordovician type sections in the Cincinnati Arch region. G. canadensis and S. divaricans became extinct during regression of the epicontinental sea at the end of Richmondian time.","language":"ENGLISH","doi":"10.3133/pp1066N","usgsCitation":"Elias, R., 1983, Middle and Late Ordovician solitary rugose corals of the Cincinnati Arch region: U.S. Geological Survey Professional Paper 1066, p. Extensive changes to the Findex system have been made since 1977 , making the previous report obsolete. A description of the data base and computer programs that are available in the Findex system are documented in this report. This system serves a vital need in the administration of the many and diverse water-data collection activities. District offices with extensive data-collection activities will benefit from the documentation of the system. Largely descriptive, the report tells how a file of computer card images has been established which contains entries for all sites in Florida at which there is currently a water-data collection activity. Entries include information such as identification number, station name, location, type of site, county, frequency of data collection, funding, and other pertinent details. The computer program FINDEX selectively retrieves entries and lists them in a format suitable for publication. The index is updated routinely. Unavoidable uncertainty in the true stress on the prototype and in the true response of the prototype to that stress will introduce errors into the parameter identification problem. A method for evaluating errors in the predictions of future water levels due to errors in recharge estimates was demonstrated. The method involves a Monte Carlo simulation of the parameter identification problem and of the prediction problem. The steps in the method are: (1) to prescribe the distribution of the recharge estimates; (2) to use this distribution to generate random sets of recharge estimates; (3) to use the Gauss optimization technique to identify the corresponding set of parameter estimates for each set of recharge estimates; (4) to make the corresponding set of hydraulic head predictions for each set of parameter estimates; and (5) to examine the distribution of hydraulic head predictions and to draw appropriate conclusions. Similarly, the method can be used independently or simultaneously to estimate the effect on hydraulic head predictions of errors in the measured water levels that are used in the parameter identification problem. The fit of the model to the data that are used to identify parameters is not a good indicator of these errors. A Monte Carlo simulation of the parameter identification problem can be used, however, to evaluate the effects on water level predictions of errors in the recharge (and pumpage) data used in the parameter identification problem. The floodlaid beds are similar to rhythmic successions of 40 or more graded beds in backflooded tributaries of the lower Columbia River. This new field evidence corroborates a controversial hypothesis that the great Pleistocene floods from glacial Lake Missoula were 40 or more colossal, separate joekulhlaups, and refutes the conventional notion that any two successive graded beds were deposited by one flood. \r\n\r\nThe only outlet of the 2000-km3 glacial Lake Missoula was through its great ice dam. Calculations show that each time the lake rose to about 600 m deep, it made the glacier buoyant and engendered a catastrophic discharge along the glacier bed (a joekulhlaup). A reconstructed water budget suggests that after a complete draining, the lake refilled in 3 to 6 decades; thus the hydrostatic prerequisites for a joekulhlaup were reestablished dozens of times during the late-Wisconsin episode of lake damming. \r\n\r\nVarious intercalated tephra layers, radiocarbon dates, varve successions, and the Bonneville flood deposits in the region suggest that late-Wisconsin glacial Lake Missoula existed for about 2 millennia within the period 15,000 to 12,700(?) yr ago. Varve beds indicate that the mean period between Missoula floods was about 4 decades, but became shorter during the last several floods. Between 20 and 30 of the Missoula joekulhlaups occurred after the single great flood from Lake Bonneville, which according to 14C dating in the Bonneville basin by W. E. Scott and associates and by D. R. Currey occurred some time between 15,000 and 14,000 yr ago.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr83671","usgsCitation":"Waitt, R.B., 1983, Tens of successive, colossal Missoula floods at north and east margins of channeled scabland: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-671, 29 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83671.","productDescription":"29 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":411160,"rank":3,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_75698.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":85666,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0671/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":162658,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0671/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -124,\n              49\n            ],\n            [\n              -124,\n              45\n            ],\n            [\n              -113.5,\n              45\n            ],\n            [\n              -113.5,\n              49\n            ],\n            [\n              -124,\n              49\n            ]\n          ]\n        ],\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ad9e4b07f02db685155","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Waitt, Richard B. 0000-0002-6392-5604 waitt@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6392-5604","contributorId":2343,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Waitt","given":"Richard","email":"waitt@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"B.","affiliations":[{"id":617,"text":"Volcano Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":238384,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

The old bridge and its approaches were fairly low, permitting considerable flow over the road during high floods. The new bridge and its approaches are considerably higher, causing different flow conditions at the site. Analysis of the effects of the new bridge, as compared to the old bridge, on floods of the magnitude of the May 27, 1973, flood is presented. The May 27, 1973, flood was greater than a 100-year flood. Analysis of the 50- and 100-year floods for the new bridge are also presented. Results of the study indicate that the new construction will increase the water-surface elevation for a flood equal to the May 27, 1973, flood by approximately 1 foot upstream from bridge. This report is designed to be useful to the mine owners, operators, and others by presenting information about the existing hydrologic conditions and by identifying sources of hydrologic information. General hydrologic information is presented using a brief text with an accompanying map, chart, graph, or other illustration for each of a series of water-resources-related topics. The summation of the topical discussions provides a description of the hydrology of the area.
\n
Coal has been mined for 130 years in Area 38, but large reserves remain. Production peaked in 1917 when Iowa produced 9 million tons and Missouri produced 6 million tons. Underground mining has been replaced by surface mining in Area 38. Not all past surface-mined lands are subject to reclamation under recently enacted reclamation laws.
\n
The surface-water monitoring network in Area 38 consists of 183 stations. Streamflow varies seasonally and from year to year. Water-quality data are available for 49 stations in the study area. Measurements of specific conductance, dissolved solids, pH, alkalinity, sulfate, iron, manganese, trace metals and other constituents are available for 36 stations operated between 1978 and 1981 expressly for the collection of water-quality data within basins containing coal mines.
\n
A cumulative impact of coal mining on the mineralization of surface water is evident from specific-conductance data for stations downstream from mining activities. Alkalinity in streams in Area 38 averaged greater than 118 milligrams per liter, providing the capability to neutralize acid-mine drainage to some extent. Sulfate concentrations in streamflow averaged 88 milligrams per liter at stations upstream from coal mines and 269 milligrams per liter at stations downstream from coal mines. Significant relationships exist between totalrecoverable-iron concentrations and suspendedsediment concentrations. Manganese concentrations are larger in streams draining mined areas. Streamflow at 5 of the 36 coal-hydrology stations in Area 38, all located downstream from coal mines, exceeded acid-mine-drainage criteria at one time or another.
\n
In Area 38 dissolved-solids concentrations in water from the Cambrian-Ordovician aquifer range from 300 to 15,000 milligrams per liter; in southcentral Iowa and where the aquifer underlies the Missouri River alluvium, as in Boone County, Missouri, dissolved-solids concentrations are less than 1,000 milligrams per liter. In these areas the Cambrian-Ordovician aquifer is suitable for domestic and other uses. Chemical quality of water from Quaternary aquifers generally is suitable for domestic uses and other uses, dissolved-solids concentrations averaged less than 1,000 milligrams per liter. Iron, manganese and nitrate are excessive in some instances. Chemical quality of water from Mississippian and Pennsylvanian aquifers is unsuitable for domestic use and may be unsuitable for other uses. The Pennsylvanian and Misissippian aquifers have average sulfate concentrations in excess of 1,000 milligrams per liter.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological The test hole was drilled in the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec. 2, T.12N., R.3E., Sutter County, California, about 1 1/2 miles northwest of the town of Nicolaus. Drilled to a depth of 1,150 feet below land surface, the hole is cased to a depth of 100 feet and equipped with three piezometer tubes to depths of 311, 711, and 1,071 feet. A 5-foot well screen is set in sand at the bottom of each piezometer. Each screened interval has a cement plug above and below it to isolate it from other parts of the aquifer, and the well bore is filled between the plugs with sediment. Thirty-one cores and 34 sidewall cores were recovered. Laboratory tests were made for minerology, consolidation, grain-size distribution, Atterberg limits, X-ray diffraction, thermal conductivity, and chemical analysis of water. Geophysical and thermal gradient logs were made. The hole is sampled periodically for chemical analysis of the three tapped zones and measured for water level. This report presents methods used to obtain field samples, laboratory procedures, and the data obtained. In 1980, withdrawals of ground water for municipal, industrial, and military supplies totaled 164,354 acre-feet (203 cubic hectometers) within the El Paso, Fort Bliss, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico metropolitan area, and adjacent areas in Texas and New Mexico. Most of the water, 132,652 acre-feet (164 cubic hectometers), was pumped from the Hueco bolson, the principal aquifer. The Mesilla bolson and Rio Grande alluvium in the lower Mesilla Valley supplied 27,461 and 4,241 acre-feet (34 and 5 cubic hectometers) respectively.
\n
The cumulative 1906 through 1980 withdrawals of ground water from the Hueco bolson metro area total 3.0 million acre-feet (3.7 cubic kilometers)-about 2.2 million acre-feet (2.7 cubic kilometers) has been pumped in the United States and 0.8 million acre-feet (1.0 cubic kilometers) in the Republic of Mexico. These withdrawals have caused water levels to decline about 130 feet (40 meters) in the downtown sections of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. In January 1980 the theoretically recoverable volume of freshwater in storage within the Texas part of the Hueco bolson metro area was estimated at 10.0 million acre-feet (12 cubic kilometers). Dissolved-solids concentrations in recent samples from Hueco bolson wells averaged 642 milligrams per liter in the Texas part of the metropolitan area and 736 milligrams per liter in Ciudad Juarez. Concentrations are increasing at an average-annual rate of about 10 milligrams per liter in Texas and 30 milligrams per liter in Juarez.
\n
Ground water in the lower Mesilla Valley is pumped for municipal and industrial supply and also for supplemental crop irrigation during years of inadequate surface-water supply in the Rio Grande. The 1979-80 withdrawals in the valley averaged about 31,000 acre-feet per year (38 cubic hectometers). Most of the water, about 21,000 to 22,000 acre-feet per year (26 to 27 cubic hectometers), was pumped from shallow, medium depth, and deep wells in the Canutillo field. Dissolved-solids concentrations from recent samples from Canutillo wells ranged from 252 to 1,854 milligrams per liter.
\n
Flow in the Rio Grande is diverted for crop irrigation in the United States and the Republic of Mexico, and for limited municipal supply in El Paso. The flow is regulated by releases from reservoirs in New Mexico and varies widely in both quantity and quality (dissolved-solids concentrations). During 1943-80, the flow at El Paso ranged from 57,481 acre-feet (71 cubic hectometers) in 1956 to 631,800 acre-feet (779 cubic hectometers) in 1943 and averaged about 317,000 acre-feet per year (391 cubic hectometers).
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Austin, TX","doi":"10.3133/ofr83775","usgsCitation":"White, D., 1983, Summary of hydrologic information in the El Paso, Texas, area, with emphasis on ground-water studies, 1903-80: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-775, Report: vii, 77 p.; 11 Plates: 9.44 x 13.99 inches or smaller, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83775.","productDescription":"Report: vii, 77 p.; 11 Plates: 9.44 x 13.99 inches or smaller","numberOfPages":"85","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":50942,"rank":8,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-06.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50941,"rank":7,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-05.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50940,"rank":6,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-04.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":154379,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":50948,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50945,"rank":11,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-09.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50944,"rank":10,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-08.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50943,"rank":9,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-07.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":411155,"rank":14,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_14216.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":50947,"rank":13,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-11.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50946,"rank":12,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-10.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50937,"rank":3,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-01.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50939,"rank":5,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-03.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":50938,"rank":4,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0775/plate-02.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"Texas","city":"El Paso","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -106.61663202900219,\n              31.98623465212242\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.6148678918224,\n              31.83948038179544\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.5337175815559,\n              31.788510978845437\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.47373691744605,\n              31.74651506409178\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.44727485975004,\n              31.76601553785096\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.33966249178799,\n              31.68048299168001\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.3026156110141,\n              31.633932171213573\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.17736187125499,\n              31.998204252979477\n            ],\n            [\n              -106.61663202900219,\n              31.98623465212242\n            ]\n          ]\n        ],\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b17e4b07f02db6a64e3","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"White, D. Onshore, more than 6,300 exploratory wells and more than 21,000 development wells were drilled in Louisiana's eight southernmost parishes between 1937 and 1977. Nearly all those wells were in wetlands or inland water bodies. The wetlands, totaling more than 2 million hectares (ha), extend inland to roughly latitude 30? N, and are about 15 percent forested swamp and 85 percent nonforested marsh. Inland waters within the Louisiana coastal zone total more than 1 million ha. Nearly all these waters are quite shallow. More than 235,000 ha of this coastal area is used for major activities associated with the extraction of oil and gas. Production in the eight southern parishes peaked in 1970 to 120 million m3 of oil and 172 billion m 3 of gas. Connecting extensive onshore fields--and also servicing offshore fields--are intricate networks of canals for pipelines and maritime traffic related to the oil and gas industry. \r\n\r\nOffshore, more than 2,400 drilling and production platforms had been installed by May of 1981. Oil production from wells in both Federal and State waters off Louisiana peaked at 71 million m3 in 1972. Offshore gas production continues to increase, with 131 billion m3, in 1979. Since the early 1950's southern Louisiana's population has shifted from remote rural areas in the marshes to the more densely settled areas on the natural levees and beach ridges where employment is available in oil-field support industries and businesses. In 1975, in the 14 primary settlement clusters within the coastal wetlands, more than 3,600 advertised business activities were connected directly to the oil and gas industry. This compares to about 1,200 such activities in 1955, at the start of offshore development. These businesses are listed as water transportation, transportation equipment, pipelines, chemicals, special trade contractors, and petroleum refining, as well as actual oil and gas extraction. \r\n\r\nArea measurements of urban land uses reveal a major concentration of industry and transportation facilities along the navigable waterways. Ship and rig construction are important activities; of 148 fixed drilling platforms under construction in the United States in March 1981, 94 were being built in Louisiana to be barged out into the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. Of the 122 petroleum-industry support boats being built in the United States in 1976, 82 were in Louisiana shipyards; the worldwide total was estimated to be only about 200. In 1980, the Nation's marine con- tractors were building 129 logistic support vessels. Louisiana-based firms had 98 vessels under construction.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"Geological Survey (U.S.)","doi":"10.3133/ofr83118","usgsCitation":"Davis, D.W., and Place, J.L., 1983, The oil and gas industry of coastal Louisiana and its effects on land use and other socioeconomic patterns: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-118, vi, 73 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83118.","productDescription":"vi, 73 p.","costCenters":[{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":142778,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0118/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":36092,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0118/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a80e4b07f02db64944f","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Davis, Donald W.","contributorId":11238,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Davis","given":"Donald","email":"","middleInitial":"W.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":157863,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Place, John L.","contributorId":83145,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Place","given":"John","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":157864,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

In 1978, the program was expanded to include a ground-water resources study of the South Austin metropolitan area in the Balcones Fault Zone.

The objectives of the Austin urban hydrology study are as follows:

To determine, on the basis of historical data and hydrologic analyses, the magnitude and frequency of flood peaks and flood volume.

To determine the effect of urban development on flood peaks and volume.

To determine the variations in water quality during different seasons and flow conditions in representative watersheds under various types of urban development.

To quantitatively appraise the ground-water resources along the Balcones Fault Zone, the effect of urbanization on the quality and quantity of recharge and discharge, and the extent of contamination in the Edwards aquifer that is is hydrologic circulation with Barton Springs.

This report presents the basic hydroloqic data collected in the Austin urban area for the 1981 water year (Oct. 1, 1980 to Sept. 30, 1981).

Additional explanations of terms related to streamflow, water quality, and other hydrologic data used in this report are defined in the U.S. Geological Survey annual report Water Resources Data for Texas, TX-81-3, 1981.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Austin, TX","doi":"10.3133/ofr8344","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the City of Austin and the Texas Department of Water Resources","usgsCitation":"Slade, R., Veenhuis, J., Dorsey, M., Gardiner, H., and Smith, A.E., 1983, Hydrologic data for urban studies in the Austin, Texas, metropolitan area, 1981: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-44, vi, 293 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr8344.","productDescription":"vi, 293 p.","onlineOnly":"N","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[{"id":583,"text":"Texas Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":34621,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0044/report.pdf","text":"Report","size":"5.27 MB","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"description":"Report"},{"id":140695,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0044/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Texas","city":"Austin","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -98.09280395507812,\n              29.991812888666043\n            ],\n            [\n              -97.38006591796874,\n              29.991812888666043\n            ],\n            [\n              -97.38006591796874,\n              30.615459280672667\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.09280395507812,\n              30.615459280672667\n            ],\n            [\n              -98.09280395507812,\n              29.991812888666043\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a1ce4b07f02db608036","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Slade, R.M.","contributorId":84364,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Slade","given":"R.M.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":154830,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Veenhuis, J.E.","contributorId":6850,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Veenhuis","given":"J.E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":154826,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Dorsey, M.E.","contributorId":73997,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Dorsey","given":"M.E.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":154829,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Gardiner, Heather","contributorId":52569,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Gardiner","given":"Heather","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":154827,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4},{"text":"Smith, A.
