Rock falls in the valley commonly range in size from individual boulders of less than 1 m3 to moderate-sized falls with volumes of about 100,000 m3. Larger rock falls exceeding 100,000 m3, referred to as rock avalanches, are considered to be much less likely to occur based on the relatively few prehistoric rock-fall avalanche deposits in the Yosemite Valley. Because the valley has steep walls and is relatively narrow, there are no areas that are absolutely safe from large rock avalanches. The map shows areas of rock-fall potential, but does not predict when or how frequently a rock fall will occur. Consequently, neither the hazard in terms of probability of a rock fall at any specific location, nor the risk to people or facilities to such events can be assessed from this map.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Reston, VA","doi":"10.3133/ofr99578","usgsCitation":"Wieczorek, G.F., Morrissey, M.M., Iovine, G., and Godt, J., 1999, Rock-fall potential in the Yosemite Valley, California: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 99-578, Report: 7 p.; 1 Plate: 49.38 x 31.82 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr99578.","productDescription":"Report: 7 p.; 1 Plate: 49.38 x 31.82 inches","costCenters":[{"id":300,"text":"Geologic Hazards Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":3302,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/ofr-99-0578/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":371301,"rank":4,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/ofr-99-0578/yosemap.pdf","text":"Plate 1","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":160714,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0578/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":60332,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0578/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"scale":"12000","projection":"Lambert Conformal Conic Projection","country":"United States","state":"California","otherGeospatial":"Yosemite Valley","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -119.68333333,\n              37.7\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.51,\n              37.7\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.51,\n              37.775\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.68333333,\n              37.775\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.68333333,\n              37.7\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a0ee4b07f02db5fe4ac","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Wieczorek, Gerald F.","contributorId":81889,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Wieczorek","given":"Gerald","email":"","middleInitial":"F.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":779662,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Morrissey, Meghan M.","contributorId":98765,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Morrissey","given":"Meghan","email":"","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":779663,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Iovine, Giulio","contributorId":60690,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Iovine","given":"Giulio","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":208226,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Godt, Jonathan W. 0000-0002-8737-2493 jgodt@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8737-2493","contributorId":207515,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Godt","given":"Jonathan","email":"jgodt@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"W.","affiliations":[{"id":300,"text":"Geologic Hazards Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":779664,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4}]}}

These data are aggregated by county, 4- and 8-digit hydrologic units, and aquifer in the Aggregated Water-Use Data System (AWUDS). Site-specific water-use data for public supply, commercial, industrial, mining, and power generation are stored in the Site-Specific Water-Use Data System (SSWUDS). Site-specific water-use for irrigation and livestock (stock and animal specialties) is stored in the Arkansas District's Water-Use Data Base System (WUDBS). Information about amounts of water withdrawn, sources of water, how the water was used, and how much was returned is available to water-resources managers and policy makers.\r\n\r\nFrom 1960 until about 1985, water-use data were collected and compiled in cooperation with Arkansas Geological Commission (AGC). Since 1985, water-use data have been collected and stored in cooperation with the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission (ASWCC). At that time, this project was a small part of a more comprehensive Alaska Mineral Resource Assessment Program (AMRAP) study of the Sleemute quadrangle. AMRAP studies were conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to fulfill requirements of the Alaska National Interests Lands Conservation Act (Public Law 96-487, 1980) to survey certain federal lands to determine their mineral potential. Although AMRAP is no longer in operation, this study represents a small topical study that was conducted during the Sleetmute quadrangle AMRAP study. The objective of the Fortyseven Creek work was to characterize the geochemistry of samples collected downstream from the Fortyseven Creek prospect, as well as mineralized and altered rock samples collected from the prospect. In this report, we describe the samples collected in 1991, the methods used for the analysis of the samples, and the geochemical data for these samples. The data in this report are also available in digital form on computer diskette in Gray and others (1999). The project activity is supported through the Coastal and Marine Geology Program of the Geologic Division of the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) and is a component of the Geologic Division's Science Strategy under Goal 1—Conduct Geologic Hazard Assessments for Mitigation Planning (Bohlen et al., 1998).
\n
\n
The project research is specifically stated under Activity 1.1.2 of the Science Strategy: Earthquake Hazard Assessments and Loss Reduction Products in Urban Regions. This activity involves \"research, seismic and geodetic monitoring, field studies, geologic mapping, and analyses needed to provide seismic hazard assessments of major urban centers in earthquake-prone regions including adjoining coastal and offshore areas.\" The southern California urban areas, which form the most populated urban corridor along the U.S. Pacific margin, are among a few specifically designated for special emphasis under the Division's science strategy (Bohlen et al., 1998). The primary objective of the project is to help mitigate the earthquake hazards for the Southern California region by improving our understanding of how deformation is distributed (spatially and temporally) in the offshore with respect to the onshore region. To meet this objective, we are conducting field investigations to observe the distribution, character, and relative intensity of active (i.e., primarily Holocene) deformation within the basins and along the shelf adjacent to the most highly populated areas (Fig. 1). In addition, acoustic imaging should help determine the subsurface dimensions of the faults and identify the size and frequency of submarine landslides, both of which are necessary for evaluating the potential for generating destructive tsunamis in the southern California offshore. In order to evaluate the strain associated with the offshore structures, the initial results from the field mapping under this project will be used to identify possible sites for deployment of acoustic geodetic instruments to monitor strain in the offshore region. A major goal of mapping under this project is to provide detailed geologic and geophysical information in GIS data bases that build on the earlier studies and use the new data to precisely locate active faults and to map recent submarine landslide deposits.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Reston, VA","doi":"10.3133/ofr99560","issn":"0094-9140","usgsCitation":"Normark, W.R., Reid, J.A., Sliter, R.W., Holton, D., Gutmacher, C.E., Fisher, M.A., and Childs, J.R., 1999, Cruise report for O1-99-SC Southern California Earthquake Hazards project: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 99-560, 55 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr99560.","productDescription":"55 p.","costCenters":[{"id":237,"text":"Earthquake Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":388969,"rank":4,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_22920.htm"},{"id":53239,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0560/pdf/of99-560.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":157239,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0560/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":1734,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0560/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"country":"United States","state":"California","otherGeospatial":"Southern California","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -118.6670,\n              32.5\n            ],\n            [\n              -117.250,\n              32.5\n            ],\n            [\n              -117.250,\n              34.00\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.6670,\n              34.00\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.6670,\n              32.5\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ad0e4b07f02db680932","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Normark, William R.","contributorId":69570,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Normark","given":"William","email":"","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":191259,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Reid, Jane A. 0000-0003-1771-3894 jareid@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1771-3894","contributorId":2826,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Reid","given":"Jane","email":"jareid@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[{"id":520,"text":"Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":191256,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Sliter, Ray W. 0000-0003-0337-3454 rsliter@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0337-3454","contributorId":1992,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Sliter","given":"Ray","email":"rsliter@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"W.","affiliations":[{"id":520,"text":"Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":191255,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Holton, David","contributorId":102518,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Holton","given":"David","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":191260,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4},{"text":"Gutmacher, Christina E.","contributorId":28272,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Gutmacher","given":"Christina","email":"","middleInitial":"E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":191258,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":5},{"text":"Fisher, Michael A. mfisher@usgs.gov","contributorId":1991,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Fisher","given":"Michael","email":"mfisher@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":191254,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":6},{"text":"Childs, Jonathan R. jchilds@usgs.gov","contributorId":3155,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Childs","given":"Jonathan","email":"jchilds@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[{"id":520,"text":"Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":191257,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":7}]}}

Mining claim data is earth science information deemed to be relevant to the assessment of historic, current, and future ecological, economic, and social systems. There is no paper map included in this Open-File report.
\n
\n
In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA), all unpatented mining claims, mill and tunnel sites must be recorded at the appropriate Bureau of Land Management (BLM) State office. BLM maintains a cumulative computer listing of mining claims in the Mining Claim Recordation System (MCRS) database with locations given by meridian, township, range, and section. The polygon coverage (which is also provided here as a shapefile) contains three attributes of ownership information for each polygon. One attribute indicates whether the surface is State owned, privately owned, consists of Tribal and Indian lands, or, if Federally owned, which Federal agency manages the land surface. Another attribute indicates where the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) maintains full or partial subsurface mineral rights. The third attribute indicates which energy minerals, if any, are owned by the Federal govenment. This coverage is based on land management status and Federal and State mineral ownership data compiled by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the former U.S. Bureau of Mines (USBM), and the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration at a scale of 1:100,000. Initial research objectives were to understand the processes that would either mitigate or accelerate the effects of pollution on soil and surface water chemistry, and to build a record in which long-term trends could be identified and examined.

It is important for all data collected in Loch Vale to meet the high standards of quality set forth in previous LVWS QA/QC reports and LVWS Methods Manuals. Given the ever-widening usage of data collected in Loch Vale, it is equally important to provide users of that data with a report assuring that all data are sound. Parameters covered in this report are the quality of meteorological measurements, hydrological measurements, surface water chemistry, and similarities in catch efficiency of two raingage types in Loch Vale for the period of 1995-1998.

Routine sampling of weather conditions, precipitation chemistry, and stream/lake water chemistry began in 1982. Precipitation chemistry has always been collected according to National Atmospheric Deposition Program protocol (Bigelow 1988), and analyzed at the Central Analytical Laboratory of the Illinois State Water Survey in Champaign, IL. QA/QC procedures of the National Atmospheric Deposition Program are well documented (Aubertin 1990). Protocols for sampling surface waters are also well documented (Newkirk 1995). Using the boundary surface between low density Tertiary volcanogenic rocks and denser granitic and weakly metamorphosed sedimentary rocks (basement) as the outer fault surfaces for the modeled collapse caldera complex, it is postulated that the caldera complex collapsed on steeply- dipping arcuate faults two, possibly three, times following eruption of at least two major ash-flow tuffs. The caldera and most of its eruptive products are now deeply buried below the surface of Pahute Mesa. Relatively low-density rocks in the caldera complex produce one of the largest gravity lows in the western conterminous United States. Gravity modeling defines a steep sided, cup-shaped depression as much as 6,000 meters (19,800 feet) deep that is surrounded and floored by denser rocks. The steeply dipping surface located between the low-density basin fill and the higher density external rocks is considered to be the surface of the ring faults of the multiple calderas. Extrapolation of this surface upward to the outer, or topographic rim, of the Silent Canyon caldera complex defines the upper part of the caldera collapse structure. Rock units within and outside the Silent Canyon caldera complex are combined into seven hydrostratigraphic units based on their predominant hydrologic characteristics. The caldera structures and other faults on Pahute Mesa are used with the seven hydrostratigraphic units to make a three-dimensional geologic model of Pahute Mesa using the \"EarthVision\" (Dynamic Graphics, Inc.) modeling computer program. This method allows graphic representation of the geometry of the rocks and produces computer generated cross sections, isopach maps, and three-dimensional oriented diagrams. These products have been created to aid in visualizing and modeling the ground-water flow system beneath Pahute Mesa.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr99555","issn":"0094-9140","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Nevada Operation Office U.S. Department of Energy (Interagency Agreement DE-AI08-96NV11967)","usgsCitation":"McKee, E.H., Hildenbrand, T.G., Anderson, M., Rowley, P.D., and Sawyer, D.A., 1999, The Silent Canyon caldera complex — A three-dimensional model based on drill-hole stratigraphy and gravity inversion: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 99-555, Report: 79 p., 6 Plates: 21.04 x 17.89 inches or smaller, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr99555.","productDescription":"Report: 79 p., 6 Plates: 21.04 x 17.89 inches or smaller","numberOfPages":"83","additionalOnlineFiles":"Y","costCenters":[{"id":312,"text":"Geology, Minerals, Energy, and Geophysics Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":64370,"rank":10,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/of99-555.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":3456,"rank":9,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":392966,"rank":8,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_23045.htm"},{"id":285070,"rank":7,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/ofr99555.jpg"},{"id":285069,"rank":6,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig11aBIG.pdf"},{"id":285068,"rank":5,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig10aBIG.pdf"},{"id":285064,"rank":4,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig06aBIG.pdf"},{"id":285067,"rank":3,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig09aBIG.pdf"},{"id":285066,"rank":2,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig08aBIG.pdf"},{"id":285065,"rank":1,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0555/pdf/Fig07aBIG.pdf"}],"country":"United States","state":"Nevada","otherGeospatial":"Silent Canyon caldera complex","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -116.575,\n              37.158\n            ],\n            [\n              -116.237,\n              37.158\n            ],\n            [\n              -116.237,\n              37.404\n            ],\n            [\n              -116.575,\n              37.404\n            ],\n            [\n              -116.575,\n              37.158\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a0ce4b07f02db5fcb93","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"McKee, Edwin H. mckee@usgs.gov","contributorId":3728,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"McKee","given":"Edwin","email":"mckee@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"H.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":219067,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Hildenbrand, Thomas G.","contributorId":61787,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Hildenbrand","given":"Thomas","email":"","middleInitial":"G.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":219069,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Anderson, Megan L.","contributorId":69189,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Anderson","given":"Megan L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":219070,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3},{"text":"Rowley, Peter D.","contributorId":27435,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Rowley","given":"Peter","email":"","middleInitial":"D.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":219068,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":4},{"text":"Sawyer, David A. dsawyer@usgs.gov","contributorId":1262,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Sawyer","given":"David","email":"dsawyer@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":219066,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":5}]}}

The wells are completed at depths of about 60 to 80 feet in a shallow alluvial aquifer adjacent to the Cedar River. The City of Cedar Rapids and the U.S. Geological Survey have conducted a cooperative study of the groundwater flow system and water quality near the well fields since 1992. The purpose of this report is to document selected hydrologic data collected from April 1996 through March 1999. Data include the results of water-quality analyses, ground-waterlevels continuously measured with pressure transducers and data recorders, and physical properties continuously monitored using multiprobe instruments. Water-quality samples were collected from selected wells and the Cedar River to conduct periodic monitoring, to evaluate ground-water geochemistry, to assess the occurrence of pesticides and herbicide degradates in the alluvial aquifer, and to characterize water quality in shallow ground water near a wetland area in the Seminole Well Field. Types of water-quality analyses included common ions (calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, silica, sodium, and sulfate), trace elements (boron, bromide, and fluoride), nutrients (ammonia as nitrogen, nitrite as nitrogen, nitrite plus nitrate as nitrogen, and orthophosphate as phosphorus), dissolved organic carbon, and selected pesticides and herbicide degradates. Ground-water levels in selected observation wells were continuously measured to assess temporal trends in groundwater levels in the alluvial aquifer and bedrock aquifer, to help calibrate a ground-water flow model being constructed to simulate local groundwater flow under transient conditions near the well fields, and to assess hydrologic conditions near a wetland area in the Seminole Well Field. Physical properties (specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, and water temperature) were continuously monitored to assess temporal variation and to help evaluate the interaction between the Cedar River and ground water in the alluvial aquifer.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Iowa City, The appearance of the velocity and displacement records suggests that changes in the zero-level of the acceleration are responsible for these drifts. The source of the shifts in zero-level are unknown, but might include tilts in the instruments or the response of the instruments to strong shaking. This note illustrates the effect on the velocity, displacement, and response spectra of several schemes for accounting for these baseline shifts. The most important conclusion for earthquake engineering purposes is that the response spectra for periods less than about 20 sec are unaffected by the baseline correction. The results suggest, however, that staticdisplac ements estimated from the instruments should be used with caution. Although limited to the analysis of only two recordings, the results may have more general significance both for the many other recordings of this earthquake and for data that will be obtained in the future from similar high-quality accelerograph networks now being installed or soon to be installed in many parts of the world.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr99545","issn":"0094-9140","usgsCitation":"Boore, D.M., 1999, Effect of baseline corrections on response spectra for two recordings of the 1999 Chi-Chi, Taiwan, earthquake: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 99-545, Report: 37 p.; Version history, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr99545.","productDescription":"Report: 37 p.; Version history","numberOfPages":"38","additionalOnlineFiles":"Y","costCenters":[{"id":237,"text":"Earthquake Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":285056,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/ofr99545.jpg"},{"id":1320,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0545/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":52033,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0545/pdf/of99-545.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":285055,"type":{"id":25,"text":"Version History"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1999/0545/version_history.txt"}],"country":"Taiwan","city":"Chichi","geographicExtents":"{ \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\", \"features\": [ { \"type\": \"Feature\", \"properties\": {}, \"geometry\": { \"type\": \"Polygon\", \"coordinates\": [ [ [ 118.99,21.5 ], [ 118.99,25.51 ], [ 122.51,25.51 ], [ 122.51,21.5 ], [ 118.99,21.5 ] ] ] } } ] }","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a4be4b07f02db62585a","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Boore, David M. boore@usgs.gov","contributorId":2509,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Boore","given":"David","email":"boore@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[{"id":237,"text":"Earthquake Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":false,"id":188420,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}
