Both methods have distinct advantages and disadvantages--ICP-OES is capable of analyzing samples with higher elemental concentrations without dilution, however, ICP-MS is more sensitive and capable of determining much lower elemental concentrations.  Both techniques gave accurate results for spike recoveries, digested standard reference-water samples, and whole-water digests.  Average spike recoveries in whole-water digests were 100 plus/minus 10 percent, although recoveries for digests with high dissolved-solid concentrations were lower for selected elements by ICP-MS.  Results for standard reference-water samples were generally within 1 standard deviation of hte most probable values.  Statistical analysis of the results from 43 whole-water digest indicated that there was no significant difference among ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and former official methods of analysis for 24 of the 26 elements evaluated.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr98165","usgsCitation":"Garbarino, J.R., and Struzeski, T.M., 1998, Methods of analysis by the U.S. Geological Survey National Water Quality Laboratory - Determination of elements in whole-water digests using inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (Revised Jul 2003): U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 98-165, xii, 101 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr98165.","productDescription":"xii, 101 p.","costCenters":[{"id":452,"text":"National Water Quality Laboratory","active":true,"usgs":true},{"id":595,"text":"U.S. Geological Survey","active":false,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":12324,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://nwql.usgs.gov/OFR-98-165.shtml","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":52462,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/0165/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":157082,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/0165/report-thumb.jpg"}],"edition":"Revised Jul 2003","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a53e4b07f02db62bb07","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Garbarino, John R. jrgarb@usgs.gov","contributorId":2189,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Garbarino","given":"John","email":"jrgarb@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[{"id":5046,"text":"Branch of Analytical Serv (NWQL)","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":189418,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Struzeski, Tedmund M. struzesk@usgs.gov","contributorId":3445,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Struzeski","given":"Tedmund","email":"struzesk@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[{"id":143,"text":"Branch of Quality Systems","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":189419,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

Chert beds in these formations have a higher porosity than the dolomite.\r\nGround-water flow is from a drum-storage area to the west and northwest toward low points west and northwest of the drum-storage area and the topographic low at the intermittent stream south of the landfill area. The direction of ground-water flow at the landfill area is affected by seasonal changes in precipitation.\r\n\r\nCalculated horizontal ground-water velocities ranged from 3.5 x 10-2 to 8.8 x 10-2 feet per day; the lowest value was in the vicinity of the landfill area. Horizontal hydraulic-conductivity values calculated from single-well aquifer tests ranged from 1.0 x 10-2 to 1.0 x 100 feet per day with an average of 4.0 x 10-1 feet per day.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Dept. of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey ;\r\nInformation Services [distributor],","doi":"10.3133/ofr97381","issn":"0094-9140","usgsCitation":"Robinson, S.M., and Yeskis, D.J., 1998, Geohydrology of the upper part of the Galena-Platteville aquifer underlying a waste-disposal site near Wempletown, Illinois: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 97-381, iii, 22 p. :ill. ;29 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr97381.","productDescription":"iii, 22 p. :ill. ;29 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":1722,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://il.water.usgs.gov/pubsearch/reports.cgi/view?series=OFR&number=97-381","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":156167,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1997/0381/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":53473,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1997/0381/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b1ae4b07f02db6a87fe","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Robinson, Steven M. 0000-0002-9263-382X smrobins@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9263-382X","contributorId":3466,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Robinson","given":"Steven","email":"smrobins@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[{"id":478,"text":"North Dakota Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":191810,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Yeskis, Douglas J. djyeskis@usgs.gov","contributorId":2323,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Yeskis","given":"Douglas","email":"djyeskis@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"J.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":191809,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

A 12-kilometer reach of a typical Ozarks stream was mapped using aerial photographs from 1938, 1948, 1955, 1965, 1976, and 1989; maps were then analyzed in a digital geographic information system. Analysis of sequential pairs of maps provides transition frequencies for assessing the relative areal rates at which riparian woodland, grassland, and cropland have been eroded or subjected to gravel aggradation. The potentiometric surface data reveal spatial trends across the study area. In Arkansas, the altitude of the potentiometric surfaced ranged from 199 feet below sea level in Union County to 307 feet above sea level in Saline County. In Louisiana, the altitude of the potentiometric surface ranged from 224 feet below sea level in Ouachita Parish to 230 feet above sea level in Bienville Parish.\r\nThe general direction of ground-water flow in the Sparta and Memphis aquifers is from the west to the Southeast. The regional direction of ground-water flow in Arkansas is from the north and west to the south and east, away from the recharge zone in the outcrop and subcrop area, except near areas affected by intense ground-water withdrawals; such areas are manifested by large cones of depression centered in Columbia, Jefferson, and Union Counties. The regional ground-water flow in the Sparta aquifer in north-central Louisiana generally is downdip in an easterly direction from the recharge zone in the outcrop and subcrop area in the west toward the Mississippi Alluvial Plain. The potentiometric surface of the Sparta aquifer in Arkansas and Louisiana exhibits cones of depression descending below sea level. Comparison of potentiometric surface maps through time shows that the cones of depression in Columbia and Union Counties are coalescing at or near the Columbia and Union County line. However, the general direction of ground-water movement indicates that heavy pumpage locally has altered or reversed the natural direction of flow in some areas. Flow in these areas is toward the cones of depression at the center of pumping. Hydrographs from wells in the Sparta and Memphis aquifers reveals that water levels have declined more than 2.0 feet per year in some wells. Long-term hydrographs of eight wells in Arkansas, during the period 1972-1997, reveal water-level declines ranging from less than 0.8 foot per year in Phillips County to more than 2.0 feet per year in Union County. Long-term hydrographs of two wells in Louisiana, during the period 1972-1997, reveal water-level declines were more than 2.0 feet per year in Lincoln and Ouachita Parishes.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey ;\r\nBranch of Information Services [distributor],","doi":"10.3133/wri974282","usgsCitation":"Joseph, R.L., 1998, Potentiometric surface of the Sparta aquifer in eastern and south-central Arkansas and north-central Louisiana, and the Memphis Aquifer in east-central Arkansas, October 1996-July 1997: U.S. Geological Survey Water-Resources Investigations Report 97-4282, iii, 19 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wri974282.","productDescription":"iii, 19 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":121731,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1997/4282/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":56752,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1997/4282/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":56753,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1997/4282/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4aafe4b07f02db66cc5b","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Joseph, Robert L. rljoseph@usgs.gov","contributorId":3482,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Joseph","given":"Robert","email":"rljoseph@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":198936,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

Four mine waste composite samples were collected from Silverton (YUK and MAY) and Leadville (SUN and VEN), Colorado and were extracted following the EPA Method 1312 procedure. Leachate pH values ranged from 2.68 to 3.37 and the samples were ranked by increasing pH: VEN < SUN < YUK < MAY. This study assesses nitrate and pesticide occurrence in ground water beneath three agricultural land-use settings in the eastern San Joaquin Valley, California. Water samples were collected from 60 domestic wells in vineyard, almond, and a crop grouping of corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use settings. Each well was sampled once during 1993?1995. This study is one element of the U.S. Geological Survey?s National Water-Quality Assessment Program, which is designed to assess the status of, and trends in, the quality of the nation?s ground- and surface-water resources and to link the status and trends with an understanding of the natural and human factors that affect the quality of water.\r\nThe concentrations and occurrence of nitrate and pesticides in ground-water samples from domestic wells in the eastern alluvial fan physiographic region were related to differences in chemical applica- tions and to the physical and biogeochemical processes that charac- terize each of the three land-use settings. Ground water beneath the vineyard and almond land-use settings on the coarse-grained, upper and middle parts of the alluvial fans is more vulnerable to nonpoint- source agricultural contamination than is the ground water beneath the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting on the lower part of the fans, near the basin physiographic region.\r\nNitrate concentrations ranged from less than 0.05 to 55 milligrams per liter, as nitrogen. Nitrate concentrations were significantly higher in the almond land-use setting than in the vineyard land-use setting, whereas concentrations in the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting were intermediate. Nitrate concentrations exceeded the maximum contaminant level in eight samples from the almond land- use setting (40 percent), in seven samples from the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting (35 percent), and in three samples from the vineyard land-use setting (15 percent). The physical and chemical characteristics of the vineyard and the almond land-use settings are similar, characterized by coarse-grained sediments and high dissolved- oxygen concentrations, reflecting processes that promote rapid infiltration of water and solutes. The high nitrate concentrations in the almond land-use setting reflect the high amount of nitrogen appli- cations in this setting, whereas the low nitrate concentrations in the vineyard land-use setting reflect relatively low nitrogen applications. In the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting, the relatively fine-grained sediments, and low dissolved-oxygen concentrations, reflect processes that result in slow infiltration rates and longer ground-water residence times. The intermediate nitrate concentrations in the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting are a result of these physical and chemical characteristics, combined with generally high (but variable) nitrogen applications.\r\nTwenty-three different pesticides were detected in 41 of 60 ground- water samples (68 percent). Eighty percent of the ground-water samples from the vineyard land-use setting had at least one pesticide detection, followed by 70 percent in the almond land-use setting, and 55 percent in the corn, alfalfa, and vegetable land-use setting. All concentra- tions were less than state or federal maximum contaminant levels only 5 of the detected pesticides have established maximum contaminant levels) with the exception of 1,2-dibromo-3-chloropropane, which exceeded the maximum contaminant level of 0.2 micrograms per liter in 10 ground-water samples from vineyard land-use wells and in 5 ground- water samples from almond land-use wells. Simazine was detected most often, occurring in 50 percent of the ground-water samples from the vineyard land-use wells and in 30 percent","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey ;\r\nInformation Services [distributor],","doi":"10.3133/wri974284","usgsCitation":"Burow, K.R., Shelton, J.L., and Dubrovsky, N.M., 1998, Occurrence of nitrate and pesticides in ground water beneath three agricultural land-use settings in the eastern San Joaquin Valley, California, 1993-1995: U.S. Geological Survey Water-Resources Investigations Report 97-4284, vii, 51 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wri974284.","productDescription":"vii, 51 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":119128,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1997/4284/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":55216,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1997/4284/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4af5e4b07f02db692380","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Burow, Karen R. 0000-0001-6006-6667 krburow@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6006-6667","contributorId":1504,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Burow","given":"Karen","email":"krburow@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"R.","affiliations":[{"id":154,"text":"California Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":196360,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Shelton, Jennifer L. 0000-0001-8508-0270 jshelton@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8508-0270","contributorId":1155,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Shelton","given":"Jennifer","email":"jshelton@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[{"id":154,"text":"California Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":196359,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Dubrovsky, Neil M. 0000-0001-7786-1149 nmdubrov@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7786-1149","contributorId":1799,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Dubrovsky","given":"Neil","email":"nmdubrov@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[{"id":154,"text":"California Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":196361,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3}]}}

In addition, most permeability is along fractures caused by faulting in carbonate rocks. Large faults are more likely to reach the potentiometric surface as deep as 325 meters below the ground surface and are more likely to effect the flow path than small faults. This study concentrated on identifying large faults, especially where they cut carbonate rocks. Small faults, however, may develop as much permeability as large faults if they are penetrative and are part of an anastomosing fault_zone. The overall pattern of faults and joints at the ground surface in the Spotted and Specter Ranges is an indication of the fracture system at the depth of the water table. Most of the faults in these ranges are west-southwest-striking, high-angle faults, 100 to 3,500 meters long, with 10 to 300 meters of displacement. Many of them, such as those in the Spotted Range and Rock Valley are left-lateral strike-slip faults that are conjugate to the NW-striking right-lateral faults of the Las Vegas Valley shear zone. These faults control the ground-water flow path, which runs west-southwest beneath the Spotted Range, Mercury Valley and the Specter Range.

The Specter Range thrust is a significant geologic structure with respect to ground- water flow. This regional thrust fault emplaces siliceous clastic strata into the north central and western parts of the Specter Range. For each stream, instantaneous peak discharges for floods having recurrence intervals of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 years were estimated using regional regression equations. Factors used in the regression equations were drainage area, a basin development factor, and average annual precipitation. Drainage areas at the selected stream locations ranged from 0.41 to 4.61 square miles.

A step-backwater model was used to determine water-surface elevation profiles for the 10- year-recurrence-interval (10-year) flood along a selected reach of each stream. The water-surface profile information was then used to prepare a map of flood-plain boundaries. Hydraulic analyses indicated that the 10-year flood was generally confined within the stream channels. At three locations, however, some of the flood discharge escaped the main channel and flowed overland. In two cases, the overland flow returned to the channel from which it escaped. In the third case, flow drained into an adjacent basin. A separate analysis, in which concurrent flood peaks on the streams studied were assumed, indicated that water would spill over the Sherod Creek and the Maurer Ditch divides and that some of this water would eventually enter the Edson Creek Basin downstream from the study area.

1Locally the upper reach of Sherod Creek, south of the Conrail Railroad, is known as Japson Ditch. However, for simplicity it will be referred to as Sherod Creek along its entirety.
","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Reston, VA","doi":"10.3133/ofr98395","issn":"0094-9140","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Erie County Engineer and Vermilion Township of Erie County, Ohio","usgsCitation":"Jackson, K.S., Ostheimer, C.J., and Whitehead, M.T., 1998, Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of selected streams in Erie County, Ohio: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 1998–0395, Document: iv, 26 p.; Plate: 37.44 x 26.16 in., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr98395.","productDescription":"Document: iv, 26 p.; Plate: 37.44 x 26.16 in.","numberOfPages":"30","onlineOnly":"Y","additionalOnlineFiles":"N","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":52773,"rank":298,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/0395/ofr19980395.pdf","text":"Report","size":"436 KB","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"description":"OFR 1998-0395"},{"id":157381,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/0395/coverthb.jpg"},{"id":260308,"rank":898,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/0395/ofr19980395_plate1.pdf","text":"Plate 1","size":"64 B","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"description":"OFR 1998-0395 Plate 1"}],"country":"United States","state":"Ohio","county":"Erie County","contact":"
Director, Ohio Water Science Center
U.S. Geological Survey
6460 Busch Blvd.
Columbus, OH 43229-1737
","tableOfContents":"

Abstract

Introduction

Study Methods

Hydrologic analyses

Hydraulic analyses

Summary

References

","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a29e4b07f02db611801","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Jackson, K. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the oil from Oil Spring and the oil from nearby Florence oil field share a common source. Bulk and molecular geochemical analyses show that the oil seep is most likely derived from a group of geochemically similar Cretaceous source rocks including the Carlile Shale, Greenhorn Limestone, Graneros Shale, and the Mowry Shale. The Florence oil is derived from the Sharon Springs Member of the Upper Cretaceous Pierre Shale.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Dept. of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr98617","issn":"0094-9140","usgsCitation":"Lillis, P., Dolan, M.P., Warden, A., and King, J.D., 1998, Organic geochemistry of oils from Oil Spring and Florence oil field near Canon City, Colorado: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 98-617, 20 p. :ill. ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr98617.","productDescription":"20 p. :ill. ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":154536,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/usgs_thumb.jpg"},{"id":1169,"rank":100,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1998/ofr-98-0617/","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ae5e4b07f02db68ad3e","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Lillis, P. The study area encompassed the part of the Portland Basin located in Clark County, Washington. A new computer program was developed that interfaces the particle-tracking program with a geographic information system (GIS). The GIS was used to display and analyze the particle-tracking results and to evaluate ground-water vulnerability by identifying recharge areas and their characteristics, determining the downgradient impact of land use at recharge areas, and estimating the age of ground water. The report presents a description of the methods used and the results of the evaluation of ground-water vulnerability.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/wsp2488","usgsCitation":"Snyder, D.T., Wilkinson, J.M., and Orzol, L.L., 1998, Use of a ground-water flow model with particle tracking to evaluate ground-water vulnerability, Clark County, Washington: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2488, vii, 63 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2488.","productDescription":"vii, 63 p.","costCenters":[{"id":518,"text":"Oregon Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":138957,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2488/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":29137,"rank":1,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2488/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":410423,"rank":3,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_13195.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"country":"United States","state":"Washington","county":"Clark County","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -122.75035801430306,\n              46.00053073171699\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.75035801430306,\n              45.5586076007838\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.2890919146804,\n              45.5586076007838\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.2890919146804,\n              46.00053073171699\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.75035801430306,\n              46.00053073171699\n            ]\n          ]\n        ],\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\"\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a18e4b07f02db60514a","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Snyder, Daniel T. dtsnyder@usgs.gov","contributorId":820,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Snyder","given":"Daniel","email":"dtsnyder@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"T.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":145674,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Wilkinson, James M.","contributorId":60195,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Wilkinson","given":"James","email":"","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":145676,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Orzol, Leonard L. 0000-0001-7585-4295 llorzol@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7585-4295","contributorId":4561,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Orzol","given":"Leonard","email":"llorzol@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[{"id":518,"text":"Oregon Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":145675,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3}]}}
