Thermal water is used for residence heating, catfish and tropical fish production, greenhouse operation, swimming pools, and therapeutic baths. In 1979, 10,300 acre-feet of thermal water was utilized; heat discharged convectively from the geothermal system was about 1.1 x 107 calories per second. Decline in artesian head and discharge apparent in recorder charts from two wells may represent seasonal fluctuations or may reflect reservoir response to development of the resource. The thermal waters sampled are sodium carbonate or bicarbonate in character and slightly alkaline. Mixing of hot (72 degrees Celsius) water with local cooler ground water can be shown from various relations among stable isotopes, chloride, and enthalpy. On the basis of concentration of tritium, the age of most of the water sampled is at least 100 years and perhaps more than 1,000 years. Some water (33 degrees Celsius) may be as young as 29 years. On the basis of silica, sodium-potassium-calcium, and sulfate-water geothermometers, the best estimate of the maximum reservoir temperature for the thermal water is between 70 degrees and 100 degrees Celsius.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"United States Dept. of the Interior, Geological Survey :\r\n[For sale by the Supt. of Docs., U.S. G.P.O.],","doi":"10.3133/wsp2186","usgsCitation":"Lewis, R., and Young, H.W., 1982, Geothermal resources in the Banbury Hot Springs area, Twin Falls County, Idaho: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2186, v, 27 p. :ill. ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2186.","productDescription":"v, 27 p. :ill. ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":138240,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2186/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":27707,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2186/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ac7e4b07f02db67af86","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Lewis, R.E.","contributorId":31735,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Lewis","given":"R.E.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":144700,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Young, Harold William","contributorId":25137,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Young","given":"Harold","email":"","middleInitial":"William","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":144699,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

These studies showed generally that ground water contributed throughout the reach is saline but that loads of dissolved-constituents in ground-water accretions are highest in three subreaches. Yields per mile of river channel from these subreaches during the low-flow studies averaged more than 5.5 tons of dissolved solids per day, of which more than 1.8 tons were sodium and 2.9 tons were chloride.</p>\n<p>Salt-load trend studies for three long-term continuous streamflow and daily water-quality stations show that the salinity of the flow upstream from Ira, Tex., {mile 826.3) increased significantly after 1963 but decreased significantly after 1970. Part of the reach upstream from Ira is proximate to oil fields, the production and open-pit disposal of oilfield brines in the area increased significantly in the early 1960's, but a ban on open-pit disposal was enacted in 1969. An area where increases have caused particular concern is in northwestern Colorado, in the southern part of the Yampa River basin. In order to identify the changes produced by mining in the area it is necessary first to identify the water chemistry resulting from the geology, climate, and land use. To answer the above questions, a program for the synoptic collection of water-quality data was developed in which a network of sampling sites was established to determine the surface-water chemistry. \r\n\r\nThis study was begun in April 1981. Water-quality samples were collected from sites on all continuously flowing streams in the southern part of the Yampa River basin from the Oak Creek drainage near Steamboat Springs on the east to the surface-water gaging station on the Yampa River near Maybell on the west. Each water-quality site was sampled repetitively as changes occurred in discharge and specific conductance. Water-quality data from surface-water gaging stations in the area for water years 1976 to 1981 are included in the report.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey :\r\nOpen-File Services Section, Western Distribution Branch [distributor],","doi":"10.3133/ofr821017","usgsCitation":"Maura, W.S., 1982, Water-quality data for streams in the southern Yampa River basin, northwestern Colorado: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-1017, iv, 116 p. :map ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr821017.","productDescription":"iv, 116 p. :map ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":110123,"rank":700,"type":{"id":15,"text":"Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_33660.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"},"description":"33660"},{"id":152502,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/1017/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":49537,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/1017/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49538,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/1017/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4888e4b07f02db51ad70","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Maura, Wendy S.","contributorId":9673,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Maura","given":"Wendy","email":"","middleInitial":"S.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":181892,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

Instantaneous streamflow measurements were made at 63 sites on Parachute Creek tributaries to determine gain or loss of flow. Thirteen springs and nine surface-water sites were sampled and chemical analyses of these sites are included. From 1975 to 1979, 88 spring sites were inventoried; conductivity, temperature, pH, and discharge were measured. Climate data include maximum, minimum, and total daily solar radiation. Daily total precipitation is reported for three stations and snow-course data is reported for one site.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr82696","usgsCitation":"Patt, R.O., Adams, D.B., and Collins, D.L., 1982, Hydrologic data from Naval Oil Shale Reserves, Parachute Creek basin, northwestern Colorado, 1975-79: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-696, v, 134 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82696.","productDescription":"v, 134 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":152090,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0696/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":49957,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0696/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a1be4b07f02db6077cc","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Patt, Ralph O.","contributorId":61450,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Patt","given":"Ralph","email":"","middleInitial":"O.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":182611,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Adams, D. Information obtained during this trip shows Morocco to be a country for which much geologic information is available and in which there are many favorable target areas for future exploration. Work in the Bou Azzer district (Morocco's principal cobalt district) shows that much excellent geologic work has been done in searching for additional deposits. However, a number of useful approaches to locate cobalt have not been tried, and their use might be successful. The potential for undiscovered deposits in the Bou Azzer region seems very high. \r\n\r\nThe cobalt mineralization in the Siroua uplift is different from that in the Bou Azzer district. However, geologic similarities between the two areas suggest that a genetic link may exist between the two types of mineralization. This further indicates that cobalt deposits of the Bou Azzer types might be present in the Siroua region. \r\n\r\nExamination of the Bleida copper mine shows it to be a well-exposed volcanic hosted stratabound copper deposit. Large unexplored areas containing similar rocks occur near this deposit and may contain as yet undiscovered copper mineralization.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr82618","usgsCitation":"Foose, M.P., and Rossman, D.L., 1982, Geologic report and recommendations for the cobalt mission to Morocco sponsored by The Trade and Development Program of the International Development Cooperation Agency: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-618, 1 v. 66p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82618.","productDescription":"1 v. 66p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":150584,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0618/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":48345,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0618/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ae0e4b07f02db688318","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Foose, M. The entire Paradox basin is a part of the Colorado Plateaus that is underlain by a thick sequence of evaporite (salt) beds of Pennsylvanian age. The rock units that underlie the area have been grouped into hydrogeologic units based on their water-transmitting ability. Confining beds consist of evaporite beds of mostly salt, and over- lying and underlying thick sequences of rocks with minimal permeability; above and below these confining beds are aquifers. The upper Mesozoic sand- stone aquifer, probably is the most permeable hydrogeologic unit of the area and is the subject of this investigation. The principal component of ground- water outflow from this aquifer probably is subsurface flow to regional streams (the Green and Colorado Rivers) and is about 100 million cubic meters per year. All other components of outflow are relatively small. The average annual recharge to the aquifer is about 130 million cubic meters, of which about 20 million cubic meters is from local precipitation. For the lower aquifer, all recharge and discharge probably is by subsurface flow and was not estimated.</p><p>The aquifers are generally isolated from the evaporite beds by the bounding confining beds; as a result, most ground water has little if any contact with the evaporites. Brines are present in the confining beds, but solution of beds o£ salt probably is very slow in most parts of the area. No brine discharges' have been identified.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","publisherLocation":"Denver, CO","doi":"10.3133/ofr82107","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperaiton with the U.S. Department of Energy","usgsCitation":"Rush, F., Whitfield, M., and Hart, I.M., 1982, Regional hydrology of the Green River-Moab area, northwestern Paradox basin, Utah: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-107, Report: vii, 86 p.; Table: 2 Plates: 26.00 in. x 28.00 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82107.","productDescription":"Report: vii, 86 p.; Table: 2 Plates: 26.00 in. x 28.00 inches","numberOfPages":"92","costCenters":[{"id":610,"text":"Utah Water Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"links":[{"id":392017,"rank":6,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_13639.htm"},{"id":20448,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0107/plate-2.pdf","text":"Plate 2","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"linkHelpText":"Map showing generalized hydrology of the Green River-Moab area, Northwestern Paradox Basin, Utah"},{"id":20447,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0107/plate-1.pdf","text":"Plate 1","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"linkHelpText":"Map showing generalized hydrogeology of the Green River-Moab area, Northwestern Paradox Basin, Utah"},{"id":20449,"rank":402,"type":{"id":27,"text":"Table"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0107/plate-3.pdf","text":"Table 2","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"},"linkHelpText":"Rock and hydrogeologic units in the Green River-Moab area and vicinity"},{"id":153242,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0107/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":50276,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0107/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"Utah","otherGeospatial":"Green River - Moab area, Paradox Basin","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -109.25,\n              38\n            ],\n            [\n              -110.5,\n              38\n            ],\n            [\n              -110.5,\n              39.283\n            ],\n            [\n              -109.25,\n              39.283\n            ],\n            [\n              -109.25,\n              38\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a5fe4b07f02db634869","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Rush, F. Underlying the site in descending order are: (1) low permeability glacial till, (2) a moderately permeable fractured rock aquifer--the Lockport Dolomite, and (3) a low permeability unit--the Rochester Shale. The site is bounded on three sides by ground-water drains; the Niagara River Gorge, the Niagara Power Project canal, and the power project conduits. \r\n\r\nA finite element model was used to simulate ground-water flow along an east-west section through the Hyde Park site (from the power project conduits to the Niagara Gorge). Steady-state conditions were simulated with an average annual recharge rate of 5 inches per year. The calibrated model simulated measured water levels within 5 feet in the glacial till and upper unit of the Lockport Dolomite and approximated the configuration of the water table. \r\n\r\nBased on simulation, ground-water flow near the Hyde Park site can be summarized as follows: \r\n\r\n1. Specific discharge (Darcy velocity) ranges from about 0.01 to 0.1 foot per day in the upper unit of the Lockport Dolomite to less than 0.00001 foot per day in the Rochester Shale. Real velocities are highest in the upper unit of the Lockport, ranging from about 1.5 to 4.8 feet per day. \r\n\r\n2. A ground-water divide exists east of the landfill, indicating that all ground water originating near or flowing beneath the landfill will flow toward and discharge in the gorge. \r\n\r\n3. The zone of highest velocities (and presumably greatest potential for transporting chemical contaminants) includes the upper unit of the Lockport and part of the lower unit of the Lockport Dolomite between the landfill and the gorge. The time required for ground water to move from the landfill to the gorge in the Lockport Dolomite is estimated to be 5 to 7 years.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr82159","usgsCitation":"Maslia, M., and Johnston, R., 1982, Simulation of ground-water flow in the vicinity of Hyde Park landfill, Niagara Falls, New York: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 82-159, v, 19 p., 5 over-size sheets, ill., (some folded) ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr82159.","productDescription":"v, 19 p., 5 over-size sheets, ill., (some folded) ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":151328,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":49519,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49520,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49521,"rank":402,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/plate-3.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49522,"rank":403,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/plate-4.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49523,"rank":404,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/plate-5.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":49524,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1982/0159/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e49f7e4b07f02db5f24ff","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Maslia, M.L.","contributorId":24090,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Maslia","given":"M.L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":181870,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Johnston, R.H.","contributorId":19536,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Johnston","given":"R.H.","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":181869,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

The observed saltwater front, defined by the 19,000 milligrams-per-liter line of equal chloride concentration in the lower part of the Floridan aquifer, corresponds closely to a theoretical predevelopment equilibrium position of a saltwater-freshwater interface. The interface position was computed by the Ghyben-Herzberg method, using heads from a map of the predevelopment potentiometric surface. In maps of both the observed May 1976 and simulated May 2000 potentiometric surface, the saltwater front was within a large seasonal cone of depression in parts of Hillsborough, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties. Average landward flow rate of the front was computed to be 0.30 foot per day in May 1976 and 0.36 foot per day in May 2000. Seaward potentiometric-surface gradient under simulated October 2000 conditions averaged 8.8 x 10-5 foot per foot less than under observed September 1976 conditions. \r\n\r\nRegional observation wells are desirable for monitoring potentiometric-level changes in western Hardee County and eastern Manatee County and for monitoring water-quality changes along the saltwater front, on its landward side, from mid-Sarasota County northward to Hillsborough County. \r\n\r\nNet landward movement of the saltwater front in the lower part of the Floridan aquifer is probably occurring under existing conditions. Pumping during 1976-2000 would probably increase slightly the rate of movement. However, rates are so slow that on a regional basis saltwater encroachment under existing and projected conditions is not presently a threat to the existing freshwater resources. The maximum projected regional landward movement, under 'worst case' conditions, of the saltwater front between 1976 and 2000 is estimated to be about one-half mile. Significant local encroachment could result from (1) ground-water development in the zone of transition and (2) deviations of local hydrogeologic conditions from average regional conditions.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. G.P.O.,","doi":"10.3133/wsp2189","usgsCitation":"Wilson, W.E., 1982, Estimated effects of projected ground-water withdrawals on movement of the saltwater front in the Floridan aquifer, 1976-2000, west-central Florida: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2189, iv, 24 p. : ill., maps ; 28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2189.","productDescription":"iv, 24 p. : ill., maps ; 28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":139398,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2189/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":29778,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2189/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a0ce4b07f02db5fce1f","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Wilson, William Edward","contributorId":82321,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Wilson","given":"William","email":"","middleInitial":"Edward","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":146119,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

The study area encompasses 137 square miles and includes the eastern part of the Town of Southampton and the entire Town of East Hampton. \r\n\r\nThe South Fork consists of a Paleozoic basement complex that is overlain by Cretaceous and Pleistocene sediments. The surficial material is composed of Late Wisconsinan glacial and glaciofluvial deposits in association with beach and marsh deposits of Recent age. Till underlies most of the eastern part of the South Fork. Precipitation is the sole source of fresh ground water on the South Fork. Average annual precipitation recorded at Bridgehampton from 1931-76 is 45 inches; about half this amount reaches the ground-water reservoir. It is estimated that overland runoff amounts to 0.5 inches per year, and evapotranspiration is 23 inches per year. Thus, recharge equals approximately 22 inches per year. \r\n\r\nHydraulic conductivity and transmissivity of the Magothy (Cretaceous) and upper glacial (Pleistocene) aquifers on the South Fork were estimated from aquifer tests and specific-capacity data. The average horizontal hydraulic conductivity of the Magothy aquifer is 70 feet per day, and of the upper glacial aquifer 350 feet per day. Transmissivity of the Magothy aquifer on the South Fork ranges from 600 to 24,100 feet squared per day; transmissivity of the upper glacial aquifer ranges from 5,400 feet to 22,700 feet squared per day. No potable water is available from the underlying Lloyd aquifer. \r\n\r\nThe position of the freshwater to saline-water interface is depicted in maps. In the southern part of the area, the freshwater reservoir follows the Ghyben-Herzberg principle, but in the northern part, the depth to interface is less than expected owing to a greater degree of anisotropy of the geologic units. \r\n\r\nTotal public-supply pumpage on the South Fork is estimated to be about 3 Mgal/day, (million gallons per day). Public-supply withdrawals in 1976 averaged 2.75 Mgal/day; of this amount, 2.55 Mgal/day was withdrawn from the upper glacial aquifer, and 0.17 Mgal/day from the Magothy aquifer. \r\n\r\nGround water and fresh surface water on the South Fork are generally of suitable quality for drinking and most other uses. However, some substances, for example, iron, chloride, and nitrate, may occur locally in objectionable concentrations.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. G.P.O. :\r\nFor sale by the Supt. of Docs.,","doi":"10.3133/wsp2073","usgsCitation":"Nemickas, B., and Koszalka, E.J., 1982, Geohydrologic appraisal of water resources of the South Fork, Long Island, New York: U.S. Geological Survey Water Supply Paper 2073, vi, 55 p. :ill., maps ;24 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/wsp2073.","productDescription":"vi, 55 p. :ill., maps ;24 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":139451,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":29929,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29930,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29931,"rank":402,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-3.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29932,"rank":403,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-4.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29933,"rank":404,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-5.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29934,"rank":405,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-6.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29935,"rank":406,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-7.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29936,"rank":407,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-8.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29937,"rank":408,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/plate-9.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":29938,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wsp/2073/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b1be4b07f02db6a8f56","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Nemickas, Bronius","contributorId":105733,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Nemickas","given":"Bronius","email":"","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":146236,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Koszalka, Edward J.","contributorId":47850,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Koszalka","given":"Edward","email":"","middleInitial":"J.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":146235,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}
