The aquifer is Pleistocene in age and consists of clay, silt, sand, and gravel deposited by the Red River. Sand and gravel constitute the lower two-thirds of the deposit, the most productive part of the aquifer. The aquifer ranges from 40 to 150 feet in thickness and reaches its maximum thickness in Avoyelles and Catahoula Parishes. Fine sand, silt, and clay of Holocene age overlie and generally confine the aquifer. These fine-grained deposits generally do not exceed 50 feet in thickness.</p><p>The aquifer is recharged by downward seepage of rainfall in the valley, by lateral movement of water from adjacent Pleistocene and Tertiary formations, and by upward movement of water from underlying formations of Tertiary age. When large quantities of seepage occur locally within short periods of time, a temporary reduction in mineralization takes place in the upper part of the aquifer. Lateral recharge from Pleistocene and Tertiary formations generally upgrades water in the alluvial aquifer near the edge of the valley. Recharge from underlying aquifers may upgrade or downgrade the quality of water in the lower part of the alluvial aquifer.</p><p>The Red River and its major tributaries recharge the Red River alluvial aquifer in local zones near the river during high stream stages, but noticeable water-quality changes occur only following periods of prolonged high stages.</p><p>Ground water in the alluvium generally moves toward the streams and down the valley. Water levels fluctuate seasonally and are generally less than 30 feet below land surface. Annual water-level fluctuations have a maximum range of about 30 feet near the Red River, and a minimum range of only a few feet in some interstream areas.</p><p>The Red River alluvial aquifer can yield 2,000 gallons per minute or more of water to individual wells where thick beds of coarse sand and gravel occur in the southern part of the study area. Aquifer tests indicate that the transmissivity ranges from 2,000 to 27,000 feet squared per day. The hydraulic conductivity ranges from 100 to 300 feet per day. Storage coefficients range from 6.0x10<sup>-4</sup> to 1.0x10<sup>-3</sup>.</p><p>Water in the aquifer typically is of the calcium magnesium bicarbonate type. The water is hard to very hard, ranging in hardness from about 100 to 2,300 mg/L (milligrams per liter). However, hardness generally is in the 200- to 600-mg/L range. The ions that appear to be most variable in occurrence and sensitive to change with time are calcium, magnesium, iron, sulfate, and chloride. Iron concentrations range from less than 0.3 mg/L to as high as 49 mg/L but generally are 1 to 10 mg/L. In areas where rapid recharge occurs, shallow wells may have iron concentrations of less than 0.3 mg/L. Sulfate concentrations generally range from 0.5 to 50 mg/L but locally exceed 250 mg/L. The highest concentration detected was 1,900 mg/L. Chloride concentrations typically are less than 50 Mg/L. However, concentrations of chloride exceed 250 mg/L locally and are as high as 4,400 mg/L in a few areas. For this report, water with chloride concentrations greater than 250 mg/L is considered salty.</p><p>The base of freshwater in the Red River Valley generally coincides with the base of the alluvium at depths of 80 to 150 feet. However, locally, the aquifer contains salty water, and the base of freshwater occurs within the aquifer; in parts of Rapides, Caddo, and Natchitoches Parishes, the base of freshwater extends below the alluvium. The largest occurrence of salty water is in Natchitoches Parish, with other smaller bodies occurring in Red River, Caddo, and Bossier Parishes.</p><p>Water quality in the aquifer varies both areally and with depth; the quality also varies with time, depending on the quantity and chemical character of the recharge water.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological The quality-of-water data were collected during a period of generally law streamflow and seasonally high air temperatures. These data show that the quality of water in Yockanookany River was generally good. The dissolved-solids concentrations were less than 50 milligrams per liter, and the concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds were low. Ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen concentrations were higher downstream than upstream. Ammonia nitrogen concentrations ranged from 0.10 to 0.40 milligrams per liter and total phosphorous concentrations ranged from 0.14 to 0.43 milligrams per liter at the downstream site. The 5-day biochemical oxygen demand in the river entering and leaving the study reach generally was less than 2.5 and 6.0 milligrams per liter, respectively. Dissolved-oxygen concentrations generally were higher at the upstream site than the downstream site and were at levels that could support aquatic life at both sites. Analysis of errors associated with the paleomagnetic techniques used suggests that all laboratory measurement errors are smaller than those introduced by deformation of the volcanic units and the errors of orientation of cores in the field. The dispersion in the calculated virtual geomagnetic poles introduced by the geographic spread of sample localities around the western United States is less than the average uncertainty from an individual locality, about 2 deg.</p><p>The history of secular variation of field direction in the western United States has been reconstructed where sufficient time control exists. This history can be approximately reconstructed for the past 3000 years; in this time period, inclination varied from 44 to 72 deg and declination varied from 344 to 22 deg. These variations of the local field direction have periods between 500 and 1500 years. Prior to 3000 years B.P., the available observations allow reconstruction of the secular variation history only for short time intervals. The mean VGP obtained from paleofield directions measured from 77 volcanic units of Holocene and late Pleistocene age in the western United States does not coincide with the geographic pole of the Earth, but is displaced 2.5 deg from the geographic pole in a direction away from the sampled region. This displacement is just at the limit of significance at 95 percent confidence.</p><p>Using a 10<sup>-5</sup> torr vacuum furnace, paleointensities have been obtained by the Thelliers' method from both high-temperature oxidized and unoxidized basic volcanic rocks. Specimens which have undergone incomplete high-temperature oxidation in nature commonly fail the Thellier experiment; the relationship between NRM lost and TRM gained in a known magnetic field is not linear. Despite the vacuum, oxidation can still occur above 300°C in the furnace ovens. The best determinations of paleointensity come from specimens in which the remanence resides primarily in single phase titanomagnetite or in intergrowths of Ti-poor magnetite in ilmenite which have been formed by natural high-temperature oxidation. Paleointensity determined from these specimens varies from 0.364 x 10<sup>-4</sup> T to 0.865 x 10<sup>-4</sup> T (1.0 x 10<sup>-4 </sup>T = 1 0e);&nbsp;the period of oscillation of paleointensity is about 500 to 1000 years. Close agreement has been found between the paleointensity measurements from this study and those from archeomagnetic studies in the southwestern United States. The similarity of the periods of intensity variation to those of field direction changes may indicate that variations of the nondipole components of the geomagnetic field dominate both.</p><p>By combining paleomagnetic and archeomagnetic data from globally distributed localities, the magnetic dipole can be shown to have wobbled with a period as short as 2000 years. Local variation of the field can be described as the consequence of fluctuation of the dipole moment, wobble of the dipole, and longitudinal drift of a nondipole field similar to that of the present. During the Holocene, the dipole moment of the Earth has fluctuated with a period of approximately 8000 years, though when viewed from a single region, the fluctuation of the dipole moment is obscured by variation of nondipole components of the field.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr80824","usgsCitation":"Champion, D.E., 1980, Holocene geomagnetic secular variation in the western United States: implications for the global geomagnetic field: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-824, xi, 314 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr80824.","productDescription":"xi, 314 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":408915,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0824/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":154649,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0824/report-thumb.jpg"}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4a54e4b07f02db62c015","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Champion, Duane E. 0000-0001-7854-9034 dchamp@usgs.gov","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7854-9034","contributorId":2912,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Champion","given":"Duane","email":"dchamp@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"E.","affiliations":[{"id":617,"text":"Volcano Science Center","active":true,"usgs":true}],"preferred":true,"id":188697,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

The disturbance or disturbances appear to have culminated at different times in different parts of the region, ranging from 57 m.y. ago in the eastern San Gabriel Mountains to about 70 m.y. ago in the southern Mojave Desert. </p><p>The region can be subdivided into three parts on the basis of potassium-argon dating: (1) An inner area of anomalous ages in which the rocks yield apparent potassium-argon ages that indicate complete or nearly complete resetting of the isotopic system. (2) An outer area in which the rocks yield apparent ages that are, or approach, emplacement ages. (3) A zone separating these two areas from which rocks yield discordant apparent ages on coexisting mineral pairs. This discordant zone varies in width from about 6 to 12 km and grades inward to rocks reset to the degree that they yield concordant potassium-argon apparent ages on coexisting mineral pairs and outward toward rocks that yield near-concordant apparent ages. Rocks from the center and the inner parts of the discordant zone yield the most discordant apparent ages. </p><p>Contouring of the apparent ages defines the extent of the reset region that occurs on both sides of the San Andreas fault. The apparent ages can be contoured across the fault, although the position of the fault is well defined by abrupt deflection of the contours parallel to the fault. The reverse fault bounding the north side of the San Bernardino Mountains mayor may not be reflected by offset contours; correlation of possible offset features across the fault is uncertain. Several northwest-trending faults on the Mojave Desert strongly disrupt the contours but do not show the right-lateral displacements that have been attributed to them on the basis of apparent offsets of geologic features. These faults may have a component of vertical movement, and it is not known what effect this might have on the contours; even a small amount could be profound. </p><p>The cause of the isotopic disturbance is not well understood, as the area of most complete resetting does not appear to be coincident with any single batholithic mass. The apparent-age contours cross the boundaries of individual plutons, and the configuration of the contours shows no apparent relation to the shapes of plutons or groups of plutons. Even though there does appear to be a lack of correlation between individual plutons or batholith-size collections of plutons, this lack of correlation may be more apparent than real. It is possible that some of the plutons within the area of anomalous ages are part of an extensive batholithic mass of which only the uppermost part is exposed. </p><p>An alternative interpretation of the anomalous ages is that a continuing post-emplacement heat source generated by continued under thrusting of the Pacific plate beneath North America caused the region to remain at elevated temperatures such that argon retention by minerals datable by potassium-argon methods was not possible for some time after pluton emplacement. As suggested by Coney and Reynolds (1977), possibly the angle of underthrusting was shallower than when the Transverse Range plutons were emplaced. </p><p>Locally, the youngest ages show a spatial relation to the Vincent thrust fault and its correlatives. If this fault is the cause of the region-wide resetting, it has to have extended under most of the western part of southern California. </p><p>The configuration of the anomalous-age zone is roughly coincident with the position of the Transverse Ranges, the recently discovered southern California uplift, a relatively shallow high-velocity zone in southern California, and the projection of the Murray fracture zone. The eastward extent coincides roughly with the eastern limit of high seismicity in southern California.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/pp1152","usgsCitation":"Miller, F.K., and Morton, D.M., 1980, Potassium-argon geochronology of the eastern Transverse Ranges and southern Mojave Desert, southern California: U.S. Geological Survey Professional Paper 1152, Report: 30 p.; 1 Plate: 39.50 × 23.50 inches, https://doi.org/10.3133/pp1152.","productDescription":"Report: 30 p.; 1 Plate: 39.50 × 23.50 inches","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":65432,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/1152/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":65433,"rank":301,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/1152/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":104564,"rank":4,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_4741.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"},"description":"4741"},{"id":120249,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/1152/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"California","otherGeospatial":"eastern Transverse Ranges and southern Mojave Desert,","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -118.5,\n              35\n            ],\n            [\n              -116,\n              35\n            ],\n            [\n              -116,\n              34\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.5,\n              34\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.5,\n              35\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4ad5e4b07f02db68397c","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Miller, F. Plots of excess <sup>210</sup>Pb activity versus depth show that a sediment-mixing layer, ranging from 5 to 20 cm in thickness, is below the sediment-water interface at all coring locations; the mixing is due to biological activity, wave and current action, and gas generation. Two cores show changes in accumulation rates during the past 100-150 years that are probably related to changes in land use. X-radiographs indicate the presence of pumice layers and allow assessment of biological activity; these two kinds of information are important to the interpretation of <sup>210</sup><span id=\"_mce_caret\" data-mce-bogus=\"1\" data-mce-type=\"format-caret\">P</span>b activity data. Trace-metal contents were determined to establish baseline information. The eight cores from Upper Klamath Lake contain much lower concentrations of all metals measured (Cd, Cu, Cr, Fe, Pb, Mn, and Zn) than are found in other lacustrine environments. The core taken from Lake Euwana contained higher concentrations of metals than the cores collected from Upper Klamath Lake.</p><p>This study was initiated in response to a concern that possible rapid accumulation of sediments in Upper Klamath Lake poses a threat to the lake's ability to support economically critical activities. The findings indicate that the lake is not filling at a rate that will cause an immediate threat to powerplant, agricultural, and recreational lake use.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr802016","usgsCitation":"Martin, E.A., and Rice, C.A., 1980, 210Pb-determined sedimentation rates and trace-metal concentrations, upper Klamath Lake and Lake Euwana, Oregon: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-2016, iii, 48 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr802016.","productDescription":"iii, 48 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":143046,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/2016/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":405869,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/2016/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"Oregon","otherGeospatial":"Klamath Lake, Lake Euwana","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -122.05398559570312,\n              42.18986405028881\n            ],\n            [\n              -121.75735473632812,\n              42.18986405028881\n            ],\n            [\n              -121.75735473632812,\n              42.49741548732684\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.05398559570312,\n              42.49741548732684\n            ],\n            [\n              -122.05398559570312,\n              42.18986405028881\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"53cd4929e4b0b290850eeeda","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Martin, E. S. Geological Survey","docAbstract":"The U.S. Geological Survey has developed an oilspill risk analysis model to aid in estimating the environmental hazards of developing oil resources in Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) lease areas. The large, computerized model analyzes the probability of spill occurrence, as well as the likely paths or trajectories of spills in relation to the locations of recreational and biological resources which may be vulnerable. The analytical methodology can easily incorporate estimates of weathering rates , slick dispersion, and possible mitigating effects of cleanup. The probability of spill occurrence is estimated from information on the anticipated level of oil production and method and route of transport. Spill movement is modeled in Monte Carlo fashion with a sample of 500 spills per season, each transported by monthly surface current vectors and wind velocities sampled from 3-hour wind transition matrices. Transition matrices are based on historic wind records grouped in 41 wind velocity classes, and are constructed seasonally for up to six wind stations. Locations and monthly vulnerabilities of up to 31 categories of environmental resources are digitized within an 800,000 square kilometer study area. Model output includes tables of conditional impact probabilities (that is, the probability of hitting a target, given that a spill has occurred), as well as probability distributions for oilspills occurring and contacting environmental resources within preselected vulnerability time horizons. The first rig began drilling in March\n1978. More rigs quickly moved into the Region, and as many as nine were\nworking at the same time for a brief period in January 1979. As of November\n1979, nineteen exploratory wells and two stratigraphic test wells had been\ndrilled by the oil companies. One of these test wells and three exploratory wells\nhave had shows of natural gas, but none of the oil companies has yet announced\nthat it has found enough gas to go forward with plans for production. Because of\nthe somewhat disappointing results so far, exploratory drilling has declined.\nOnly one company is currently operating a rig, and one other company has\nannounced plans to begin drilling this winter.</p>\n<br/>\n<p>The most recent risked estimates by the U.S. Geological Survey of\nundiscovered, economically recoverable oil and gas resources in the Mid-Atlantic\ntracts currently under lease are 8 million barrels of oil and 860 billion cubic feet\nof natural gas. The resource estimate for oil does not represent a commercially\nproducible quantity. On the basis of the geologic information gained from wells\ncompleted to date and the huge capital costs of building a pipeline to bring the\ngas ashore, the natural gas estimate for currently leased tracts in the Mid-Atlantic\nRegion appears to be short of a commercially producible amount.</p>\n<br/>\n<p>To date, onshore impacts resulting from OCS exploration consist of two\nsupport bases: a helicopter base in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from which crews\nare flown out to the drilling rigs; and a support base in Davisville, Rhode Island,\nfrom which equipment and supplies are ferried out to the rigs by boat. It is\nexpected that exploratory activity will remain close to present levels for at least\nthe next six months; consequently, support activity at Davisville and Atlantic\nCity for Mid-Atlantic OCS operations during the same period is expected to\ncorrespond to current levels.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr8017_1980","collaboration":"Prepared in cooperation with the Council on Environmental Quality","usgsCitation":"Macpherson, G.S., and Bookman, C.A., 1980, Outer Continental Shelf oil and gas activities in the Mid-Atlantic and their onshore impacts: a summary report, November 1979: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 80-17, viii, 63 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr8017_1980.","productDescription":"viii, 63 p.","numberOfPages":"76","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":281981,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/thumbnails/ofr8017_1980.jpg"},{"id":284492,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1980/0017/report.pdf"}],"country":"United States","state":"New Jersey;Rhode Island","city":"Atlantic City;Davisville","otherGeospatial":"Outer Continental Shelf","geographicExtents":"{ \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\", \"features\": [ { \"type\": \"Feature\", \"properties\": {}, \"geometry\": { \"type\": \"Polygon\", \"coordinates\": [ [ [ -76.99,34.91 ], [ -76.99,42.09 ], [ -69.74,42.09 ], [ -69.74,34.91 ], [ -76.99,34.91 ] ] ] } } ] }","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"53cd6a43e4b0b2908510324c","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Macpherson, George S.","contributorId":75538,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Macpherson","given":"George","email":"","middleInitial":"S.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":160880,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Bookman, Charles A.","contributorId":48182,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Bookman","given":"Charles","email":"","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":160879,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}

Much of the latter increase is due to depletion by agricultural use and irrigation return water with salts leached from soils under cultivation.</p><p>Forty sites in three agricultural areas--Fort Mojave, Bard Valley, and Palo Verde Valley--were sampled to describe the dissolved-solids concentrations in return flows. Emphasis was on Palo Verde Valley.</p><p>In the Fort Mojave area, the dissolved-solids concentration of Colorado River water was about 700 mg/L, while the concentration in water at the tile-drain convergence averaged about 2,500 mg/L. In the closed sump that presently receives all irrigation return, concentrations ranged from 812 to 1,760 mg/L.</p><p>In Bard Valley, water diverted from the river had an annual mean dissolved-solids concentration of about 835 mg/L. During the study, concentrations in the two main drains carrying irrigation return water ranged from 953 to 1,290 mg/L.</p><p>Selected drains in Palo Verde Valley were sampled several times to determine dissolved-solids loads from subareas within the valley. Loads determined in this study were compared with those of an earlier study. In agreement with the earlier study, loads were found to be largest from three subareas in the southern half of the valley and comparatively small from the four subareas in the northern half. Smaller loads were found in this study from all subareas, however. The differences are thought to be due to generally lower water discharge observed in drains during this study.</p>","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/wri8052","usgsCitation":"Klein, J.M., and Bradford, W.L., 1980, Dissolved-solids concentrations and loads in return flows to the Colorado River from agricultural land in southern California: U.S. Geological Survey Water-Resources Investigations Report 80-52, iv, 54 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/wri8052.","productDescription":"iv, 54 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":157986,"rank":1,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1980/0052/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":358866,"rank":2,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/wri/1980/0052/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":466095,"rank":3,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_35418.htm","text":"Bard Valley study area","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":466096,"rank":4,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_35419.htm","text":"Fort Mojave study area","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":466097,"rank":5,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_35420.htm","text":"Palo Verde study area","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}}],"country":"United States","state":"California","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -114.81811523437501,\n              32.708733368521585\n            ],\n            [\n              -114.071044921875,\n              32.708733368521585\n            ],\n            [\n              -114.071044921875,\n              34.89043681762452\n            ],\n            [\n              -114.81811523437501,\n              34.89043681762452\n            ],\n            [\n              -114.81811523437501,\n              32.708733368521585\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b24e4b07f02db6ae9d0","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Klein, John M.","contributorId":27036,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Klein","given":"John","email":"","middleInitial":"M.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":199145,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Bradford, Wesley L.","contributorId":95451,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Bradford","given":"Wesley","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":199146,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2}]}}
