Water is withdrawn from Roosevelt Lake at considerable depth and released through three run-of-the-</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">river</span><span>&nbsp;</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">reservoirs</span><span>. Because the water released from Roosevelt Lake is cold,&nbsp;</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">evaporation</span><span>&nbsp;losses from the downstream&nbsp;</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">reservoirs</span><span>&nbsp;are considerably lower than those from Roosevelt Lake.&nbsp;</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">Evaporation</span><span>&nbsp;pan coefficients computed for the various&nbsp;</span><span class=\"ScopusTermHighlight\">reservoirs</span><span>&nbsp;ranged from 0.53 to 0.65.
