Observations were restricted to the central basin in 1959, but were lake-wide in 1960.  Approximately 70 percent of the bottom waters of the central basin had a serious oxygen deficiency during both years.  Data were obtained also on the distribution of temperature, transparency, specific conductance, pH, and phenolphthalein and total alkalinity. One hundred eighty-six bottles or 65.7 percent of those released in 1931, 331 bottles or 71.6 percent of 1932 releases, and 517 bottles or 69.4 percent of releases in the 2 years were recovered. Analysis A is for the portion of Wyoming east of the Continental Divide. Analysis B applies to the portion of Wyoming in Part 9, as designated in streamflow reports entitled \"Surface Water Supply of the United Stated\" published by the U.S. Geological Survey, and was extracted fro.m an unpublished study by W. P. Somers in 1959. Analysis C applies to Part 10 and was extracted from Circutar 457 (Berwick, 1962). Analysis D applies to Part 13 and was extracted from a report by C. A. Thomas, H. C. Broom, and J. E. Cummans (1963).</p><p>Methods described in this report can be used to estimate the magnitude of a flood of any selected recurrence interval between 1.1 and 50 years for any unregulated stream in Wyoming, gaged or ungaged, within the scope of the data. The metacercaria was found in all fishes examined from Opequon River, West Virginia, except <i>Cottus bairdi</i> which was also refractory to experimental infection. Two species of Centrarchidae, four of Cyprinidae, three of Salmonidae, <i>Etheostoma flabellare</i>, <i>Platypoecilus maculatus</i>, and <i>Trichogaster trichopterus</i> were experimentally infected. The development of the metacercaria and cyst and effect on the fish are described. The histopathology initially consists of hemorrhage and muscle necrosis about the metacercaria, followed by reorganization and formation of a loose connective tissue cyst. The average number of <i>G. atratuli</i> per blacknose dace in the natural habitat is 7.8 (1 to 32) and in the laboratory at the same water temperature after 55 days in captivity, 5.4 (0 to 11). <i>G. atratuli</i> and <i>G. margaritae</i> fail to live and reproduce on fish kept in nonrunning water at between 19 and 26 C in laboratory aquaria, but will live and reproduce in running spring water at 12 C in laboratory aquaria. Zinc is absorbed on anion-exchange resin from 1.2 M hydrochloric acid and eluted with 0.01 M hydrochloric acid. A diethyldithiocarbamate separation removes traces of interfering elements from the eluate. The zinc-diethyldithiocarbamate complex is extracted into chloroform at pH 8.5 and reextracted from other elements in the chloroform solution with 0.16 M hydrochloric acid and finally determined spectrophotometrically as the zincon complex at 621 mμ.</p><p>The coefficient of variation of the method determined from replicate determinations of zinc on 75 selected samples of basalt, ranging in zinc content from 0.004 to 0.018 per cent, was found to be 6.3 per cent and essentially constant in the range of zinc content studied.
