A monitoring program was established in 1979 by the U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division to evaluate sealing effects on surface-water and ground-water systems fo the Big Four Hollow Creek and Sandy Run area just below the mine.\r\n\r\nData were collected by private consultants in 1970-71 near the mouth of Big Four Hollow Creek (U.S. Geological Survey station (03201700). Results showed an average pH of 3.1 (calculated from mean hydrogen-ion concentration in moles per liter) and a pH range of 2.7 to 4.8. The estimated sulfate load was 1,000 pounds per day, and the estimated iron load wsa 100 pounds per day.\r\n\r\nData collected in 1979, before dike construction at this site, showed a daily mean pH range of 3.4 to 5.4 with an average of 3.7, and a daily mean specific-conductance range of 160 to 600 micromhos per centimeter at 25 degrees Celsius (?mho/cm), averaging 400. Again, the estimated sulfate load was 1,000 pounds per day, but the estimated iron load had decreased to 50 pounds per day.\r\n\r\nThe first 6 months of postconstruction data from the site in 1980 showd a daily mean pH range of 4.5 to 6.8 with an average of 4.9, and a daily mean conductance range of 175 to 405 ?mho/cm with an average of 300. The estimated sulfate load had decreased to 570 pounds per day and the iron load to 8.5 pounds per day.\r\n\r\nData collected during the first 6 months after construction indicate moderate improvement in water quality. However, acidic water is still being impounded behind the dike and seals and has not yet been flushed ou by infiltrating rain and ground water. Because the system has not yet stabilized, no interpretation or conclusive statement can be made at this time.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr83217","usgsCitation":"Nichols, V.E., 1983, Drift-mine reclamation in Big Four Hollow near Lake Hope, Ohio; a preliminary data report: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-217, v, 120 p. ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83217.","productDescription":"v, 120 p. ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":144096,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0217/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":38366,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0217/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b05e4b07f02db699d81","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Nichols, Vance E. vnichols@usgs.gov","contributorId":5456,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Nichols","given":"Vance","email":"vnichols@usgs.gov","middleInitial":"E.","affiliations":[],"preferred":true,"id":161530,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

The scarcity of current-meter measurements, coupled with backwater conditions, makes definition of a single stage-discharge relation impossible. However, limit curves can be defined that \r\n\r\nwould encompass such a relation. Backwater is defined as water backed up or retarded in its course as compared with water flowing under normal or natural conditions. This results in a rise in stage above normal water level while the discharge remains unaffected. Backwater is usually caused by temporary obstruction(s) to flow downstream. Backwater at Aliceville Dam results from a variety of river conditions. Some of these conditions are large tributary inflow, return of flood plain flows to the main channel during recessions, and operations at Gainesville Dam during low flows. The discharges obtained from 26 current-meter measurements, along with computed discharges through the dam, are plotted versus stage. The plot illustrates, by the scatter of data points, the variations in backwater. Curves are drawn to envelope the extreme plot patterns showing possible ranges of several feet in stage for any given discharge. The upper end of the curves were extrapolated based on the results of a step-backwater analysis.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr83752","usgsCitation":"Nelson, G.H., and Ming, C.O., 1983, Preliminary stage-discharge relations for Tombigbee River at Aliceville lock and dam, near Pickensville, Alabama: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-752, Report: iv, 11 p.; 3 Plates: 17.51 × 10.68 inches or smaller, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83752.","productDescription":"Report: iv, 11 p.; 3 Plates: 17.51 × 10.68 inches or smaller","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":38356,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0752/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38355,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0752/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38358,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0752/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38357,"rank":402,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0752/plate-3.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":110629,"rank":700,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_75703.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"},"description":"75703"},{"id":144636,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0752/report-thumb.jpg"}],"country":"United States","state":"Alabama","city":"Pickensville","otherGeospatial":"Tombigbee River at Aliceville lock and dam","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -88.3,\n              32.8222\n            ],\n            [\n              -88.1472,\n              32.8222\n            ],\n            [\n              -88.1472,\n              33.25\n            ],\n            [\n              -88.3,\n              33.25\n            ],\n            [\n              -88.3,\n              32.8222\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b32e4b07f02db6b48ed","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Nelson, G. Most of the rocks come from drill core in the Ranger No. 1 and Ranger No. 3 deposits, but 20 samples are from unmineralized drill core more than 1 km from ore. Statistical tests show that the elements Mg, Fe, F, Be, Co, Li, Ni, Pb, Sc, Th, Ti, V, CI, As, Br, Au, Ce, Dy, La Sc, Eu, Tb, Yb, and Tb have positive association with uranium, and Si, Ca, Na, K, Sr, Ba, Ce, and Cs have negative association. For most lithologic subsets Mg, Fe, Li, Cr, Ni, Pb, V, Y, Sm, Sc, Eu, and Yb are significantly enriched in ore-bearing rocks, whereas Ca, Na, K, Sr, Ba, Mn, Ce, and Cs are significantly depleted. These results are consistent with petrographic observations on altered rocks. For each signal detected, a printed output gives estimates of the time of onset of the signal, direction of the first break, quality of onset, period and maximum amplitude of the signal, and an estimate of the variability of the background noise. On the SRO system, the new algorithm runs ~2.5x faster than the former (power level) detector. This increase in speed is due to the design of the algorithm: all operations can be performed by simple shifts, additions, and comparisons (floating point operations are not required). Even though a narrow-band recursive filter is not used, the algorithm appears to detect events competitively with those algorithms that employ such filters. Hydration-rind thickness data give good estimates of relative age differences between the domes, but determination of absolute ages will depend upon calibration to radiometric ages. \r\n\r\nThe first extrusion of highly differentiated, sparsely porphyritic rhyolite occurred an estimated 32,000 to 40,000 yrs ago and consists of a small dome at the northwest end of the contiguous chain. The next major extrusive event occurred about 24,000 yrs ago and is represented by two domes and a major tephra. About 10,000 yrs ago the frequency of eruptive activity increases and rhyolite lave was extruded at an average rate of 0.2 km3/1000 yrs; periods of dormancy ranging in length from 300 to 2000 yrs. About 2000 to 3000 yrs ago the rate of extrusion increased dramatically to 0.8 km3/1000 yrs beginning with the eruption of the South Coulee and its associated tephra. At the same time, the nature of erupted magma changed from sparsely porphyritic (3 to 10 per cent sanidine) to aphyric rhyolite. All eruptions since 2000 radiocarbon yrs BP have produced magma that is aphyric but is of the same chemical composition as the earlier porphyritic magma. Volumes of porphyritic and aphyric extrusives, each of which includes volumes of lava and volumes of pumiceous pyroclastics reduced for porosity, are nearly equal and together total about 4 km3. Projecting the recent rate of extrusion over the time since the last major eruption, 1185 radiocarbon yrs ago suggests that a future eruption in the Mono Chain could release as much as 1 km 3 of magma. The recent increase in extrusion rate and the contemporaneous change in the nature of the magma are attributed to an event in the magma chamber that allowed the release of hotter, more fluid, crystal-free magma. The young age for the beginning of rhyolite volcanism from the mono magma chamber suggests that rhyolite magma may have been emplaced in the shallow crust as recently as 32,000 to 40,000 yrs ago. Calculations by Lachenbruch et al. (1976, Jour. Geophys. Research, v. 81, p. 769-784) that a thermal disturbance at this age would have propagated upward by solid conduction only 4 km and offer an explanation for the lack of a heat-flow anomaly and surface indications of hydrothermal activity over the Mono magma chamber and its associated ring-fracture system. This report also contains new information on the age and chemistry of volcanics on the Mono Lake island, the Inyo domes, and tephras within the Long Valley Caldera. \r\n\r\nA newly discovered rhyolite tuff ring of late Quaternary age in the Toowa volcanic field of the southern Sierra Nevada is briefly described for it represents a new area that should be examined for potential as a geothermal area.","language":"English","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey","doi":"10.3133/ofr83747","usgsCitation":"Wood, S.H., 1983, Chronology of late Pleistocene and Holocene volcanics, Long Valley and Mono Basin geothermal areas, eastern California: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-747, vii, 76 p., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83747.","productDescription":"vii, 76 p.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":407293,"rank":3,"type":{"id":36,"text":"NGMDB Index Page"},"url":"https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/Prodesc/proddesc_14207.htm","linkFileType":{"id":5,"text":"html"}},{"id":143964,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0747/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":39615,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0747/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"country":"United States","state":"California","otherGeospatial":"Long Valley and Mono Basin geothermal area","geographicExtents":"{\n  \"type\": \"FeatureCollection\",\n  \"features\": [\n    {\n      \"type\": \"Feature\",\n      \"properties\": {},\n      \"geometry\": {\n        \"type\": \"Polygon\",\n        \"coordinates\": [\n          [\n            [\n              -119.129,\n              37.681\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.922,\n              37.681\n            ],\n            [\n              -118.922,\n              38.046\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.129,\n              38.046\n            ],\n            [\n              -119.129,\n              37.681\n            ]\n          ]\n        ]\n      }\n    }\n  ]\n}","noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e49dbe4b07f02db5e073f","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Wood, S. Results from drill holes in the area suggest 'layer cake' geology with no detectable abnormalities such as faults present. In an attempt to determine whether the anomalous zone of the seismic profile is an artifact or actually indicates a geologic condition, the data were extensively reprocessed using state-of-the-art processing techniques and the following conclusions were made: \r\n\r\n1. The field-recorded data in the anomalous zone are of poor quality due to surface conditions and recording parameters used. \r\n2. The technical specifications for updating existing USGS land use and land cover maps that are presented here cover both the interpretive aspects of detecting and identifying land use and land cover changes and the cartographic aspects of mapping and presenting the change data in conventional map format. They provide the map compiler with the procedures and techniques necessary to then use these change data to update existing land use and land cover maps in a manner that is both standardized and repeatable. Included are specifications for the acquisition of remotely sensed source materials, selection of compilation map bases, handling of data base corrections, editing and quality control operations, generation of map update products for USGS open file, and the reproduction and distribution of open file materials. These specifications are planned to become part of the National Mapping Division's Technical Instructions.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr83116","usgsCitation":"Milazzo, V.A., 1983, Specifications for updating USGS land use and land cover maps: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-116, iii, 65 p. ill., map ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83116.","productDescription":"iii, 65 p. ill., map ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":143654,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0116/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":38174,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0116/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e49e4e4b07f02db5e5e03","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Milazzo, Valerie A.","contributorId":88717,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Milazzo","given":"Valerie","email":"","middleInitial":"A.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":161197,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1}]}}

There has been no surface outflow since that time. From May 21, 1980, when the first measurement of lake level was made, to August 1, 1982, Spirit Lake has increased its volume from 122,800 acre-ft to 264 ,000 acre-ft, an increase of 115%. Lake level has risen approximately 54 ft during this period. Hydrologic and geologic properties of the debris dam are unknown, but the materials obviously are easily erodible. Steep walled channels up to 60 ft deep have been eroded into the dam and are extending headward toward the lowest points on the crest. In addition, it appears that the lower areas on the crest of the dam are underlain by ash cloud deposits of low density. Indications are that the debris dam could fail by headward erosion, by overtopping with rapid downcutting, or by ' piping ' and rapid erosion. Each type of failure can produce rapid release of stored lake water with very high discharge rates. On the basis of observed filling rates of the lake over the last two yr and precipitation records at four long-term, low altitude National Weather Service stations, it is expected that normal precipitation will fill the lake to the dam crest in December 1985. This estimate is also based on the assumption that loss of water from the lake by seepage continues at the present rate until December 1985. With normal precipitation during the coming yr (August 1982 through July 1983 the lake will fill to a level 50 ft below the lowest existing point on the crest of the debris dam, which is at 3,532 ft altitude. If precipitation exceeds normal by 1.5 times during this coming year, the lake level will be 40 ft below the 3 ,532-ft crest of the debris dam by the end of July 1983. This same lake level can be reached by the end of March 1983 if precipitation from October through March is twice the winter mean. The analyses implemented an approach in which the control for sensitivity testing was a hypothetical aquifer representative of potential injection zones in south Florida, and parameter variations in sensitivity tests represented possible variations in aquifer conditions in the area. The permeability of the aquifer determined whether buoyancy stratification could reduce recovery efficiency. The range of permeability leading to buoyancy stratification became lower as resident fluid salinity increased. Thus, recovery efficiency was optimized by both low permeability and low resident fluid density. High levels of simulated hydrodynamic dispersion led to the lowest estimates of recovery efficiency. Advection by regional flow within the artesian injection zone could significantly affect recovery efficiency, depending upon the storage period, the volume injected, and site-specific hydraulic characteristics. Recovery efficiency was unrelated to the rate of injection or withdrawal or to the degree of penetration of permeable layers, and improved with successive cycles of injection and recovery. None of the trace elements commonly associated with mineralization were found to be highly anomalous in the study area. Slightly anomalous values for some elements were found in the southern valleys of the study area and in a few scattered areas that contained old mines. The western Brooks Range primarily is composed of stacks of complexly deformed thrust sheets that contain mostly coeval sequences of rocks with slightly different lithologic facies. In order to simplify the thrust-faulted stratigraphy and palinspastic restoration, the rocks are grouped into eight principal structural levels. The lowest structural level is believed to be autochthonous or parautochthonous and above that, each succeeding level is designated allochthon one through seven. Allochthon seven is composed of the remnants of an extensive ophiolite sheet. Allochthon six is composed of pillow basalt with subordinate intermediate volcanic rocks, chert, and Devonian limestone. It is not certain whether this allochthon was formed in a continental or oceanic setting. Allochthons five through one consist of distinctive and coeval sequences of Devonian to Lower Cretaceous sedimentary rocks that were deposited in a continental setting. The present geographic distribution of each structural level is shown on the allochthon map of the western Brooks Range. \r\n\r\nThe stratigraphy of the southern part of northern Alaska has been reconstructed by systematically unstacking lower allochthons to the north of higher allochthons. The palinspastic map that results from this procedure shows that the minimum thrust displacement between allochthon seven and the autochthon is approximately 700 to 800 km. Schematic cross sections drawn across the palinspastic map show how the stratigraphy of the southern part of northern. Alaska most likely appeared prior to the orogeny. During Devonian and Mississippian time, the sedimentary sequences that are now part of allochthons one to five are inferred to have been deposited in an ensialic basin with both northern and southern margins. During Pennsylvanian time, the sequences seem to have become part of a southward-sloping continental shelf when a southern land area moved away from northern Alaska by an inferred plate tectonic process of rifting or strike-slip motion. In Early Jurassic time just prior to the Brooks Range orogeny, northern Alaska probably was an extensive continental shelf with oceanic conditions to the south and land to the north. \r\n\r\nThe Brooks Range orogeny seems to have begun in the Middle Jurassic as the Arctic Alaska plate was underthrust (subducted) southward beneath oceanic crust of allochthon seven. At progressively later stages in the underthrusting process, the upper parts of the continental shelf were detached from the subthrust basement on which they were deposited, resulting in the other allochthons of the western Brooks Range. The period of major thrusting ceased by Albian time in the Early Cretaceous. During middle and Late Cretaceous time, epeirogenic uplift in the Brooks Range caused large quantities of clastic detritus to be shed into successor basins to the north and south. Broad folds and reverse faults in Upper Cretaceous sediments north of the Brooks Range provide evidence for a later period(s) of less intense deformation in northern Alaska.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr83779","usgsCitation":"Mayfield, C.F., Tailleur, I.L., and Ellersieck, I., 1983, Stratigraphy, structure, and palinspastic synthesis of the western Brooks Range, northwestern Alaska: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-779, ii, 61 p., 5 over-size sheets, ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83779.","productDescription":"ii, 61 p., 5 over-size sheets, ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":144308,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":38093,"rank":400,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/plate-1.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38094,"rank":401,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/plate-2.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38095,"rank":402,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/plate-3.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38096,"rank":403,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/plate-4.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38097,"rank":404,"type":{"id":17,"text":"Plate"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/plate-5.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}},{"id":38098,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0779/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b16e4b07f02db6a530f","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Mayfield, Charles F.","contributorId":13623,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Mayfield","given":"Charles","email":"","middleInitial":"F.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":161043,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Tailleur, Irvin L.","contributorId":105304,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Tailleur","given":"Irvin","email":"","middleInitial":"L.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":161045,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":2},{"text":"Ellersieck, Inyo","contributorId":34914,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Ellersieck","given":"Inyo","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":161044,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":3}]}}

Potential projects for basin assessments include quantifying the ground-water/surface-water relationships on rivers with flows governed by compacts and an investigation of the water resources of the Estancia Basin. Projects that will assist in the evaluation of energy-related activities include describing the effects of resaturation of coal mines and of milling operations on the quality and quantity of ground and surface water. Activities that need to be undertaken to assist in addressing waste-disposal problems include the evaluation of the hydrologic factors influencing the feasibility of cleanup at the Albuquerque South Valley ' superfund ' site and the establishment of a monitoring network at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant project near Carlsbad. Scientific methods that need to be developed include (1) the testing of analytical techniques for estimating site-specific conditions with the results of digital hydrologic models, and (2) the determination of the influence of recharge from ephemeral streams on alluvial aquifers. A barium halo that is associated with all of these deposits formed from secondary processes. Calcium and strontium were also enriched in the ores by secondary processes. Comparison of the chemical characteristics of the redistributed deposits in the Church Rock district to the primary deposits in the Grants uranium region indicates that calcium, manganese, strontium, yttrium, copper, iron, magnesium, molybdenum, lead, selenium, and vanadium are separated from uranium during redistribution of the deposits in the Church Rock area. Comparisons of the chemical characteristics of the Church Rock deposits and the secondary deposits at Ambrosia Lake suggest some differences in the processes that were involved in the genesis of the redistributed deposits in these two areas.","language":"ENGLISH","publisher":"U.S. Geological Survey,","doi":"10.3133/ofr83380","usgsCitation":"Spirakis, C., and Pierson, C.T., 1983, Comparison of the chemical characteristics of the uranium deposits of the Morrison Formation in the Grants uranium region, New Mexico: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 83-380, 22 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm., https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr83380.","productDescription":"22 p. :ill., maps ;28 cm.","costCenters":[],"links":[{"id":155861,"rank":0,"type":{"id":24,"text":"Thumbnail"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0380/report-thumb.jpg"},{"id":50578,"rank":300,"type":{"id":11,"text":"Document"},"url":"https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1983/0380/report.pdf","linkFileType":{"id":1,"text":"pdf"}}],"noUsgsAuthors":false,"publicationStatus":"PW","scienceBaseUri":"4f4e4b23e4b07f02db6adeb4","contributors":{"authors":[{"text":"Spirakis, C.S.","contributorId":46088,"corporation":false,"usgs":true,"family":"Spirakis","given":"C.S.","affiliations":[],"preferred":false,"id":183652,"contributorType":{"id":1,"text":"Authors"},"rank":1},{"text":"Pierson, C.
