The 1,000-year-old rhyolite flow of Little Glass Mountain is in the middle distance of this view southwest from the top of Little Mount Hoffman on the upper west side of the Medicine Lake caldera. A converted fire lookout, located behind the camera, can be rented for overnight stays.
